Kuri listened to the announcement as she carefully shuffled Luka from her lap, much to the Shinx's disdain. She wondered how long it'd take them to get back to the mainland but then it didn't seem likely it'd take them any longer than the main boats, probably less.

"Just wait here a sec Luka." She tells her pokémon just as he starts to growl a little at the Mawile again, apparently still not happy with his new team mate or at least not her attitude towards their trainer. Kuri follows the Mawile as it leads her over to the fountain, watching the various over trainers have fun with their own pokémon. At least she wasn't likely to ever be bored on this journey.

"Maw! Maw!" The Mawile suddenly demanded pointing to herself and then up at the fountain.

"You want to go in the fountain?" Kuri asked, not seeing what else she could want and certainly not best happy with that idea given that the Seel was in there and needed the space more than her Mawile did.The Mawile shook her head though, opening her jaw, horn things and pointing at the fountain while making a scooping motion with her overly large appendage.

Kuri still wasn't sure about what the Maile wanted but decided that if she wanted to make friends with it she was going to have to try to help it like her. She leaned down to pick the small pokémon, instantly surprised by the feel of her skin. It was warm but far from soft as she had expected, Kuri had known that Mawile was a steel type but she had assumed that was because of their horns, it felt more like her whole body was made out of the hard metal.

"Ile, Mawile." Her new pokémon's 'orders' snapped her out of her thoughts though and Kuri carefully placed the deceiver pokémon on the edge of the fountain. The Mawile seemed to be happy enough with this, letting her jaw open as she ducked it into the water, keeping an eye on the nearby Seel all the while. After scooping up some water she closed her jaw again before lifting it back out again.

"Maw!" The yellow and black pokémon quickly demanded again, raising her arms to her trainer. Kuri obliged the request, picking her Mawile up again.

"You want some water to make the dirt better for building huh?" She asked, figuring that must have been what the pokémon was after. She was also surprised to see that the jaw wasn't leaking water everywhere.

"Maw." The pokémon simply replied, turning her head away to look back at the pit of dirt, especially at the Turtwig that had decided to move in. It still didn't seem to want to be thankful for it's new trainer despite her help but Kuri didn't mind to much, she was just happy to have held her without getting bitten or anything at this point.

Koryu noticed that Kuri's new Mawhile was interested in the fountain and Kuri seemed a bit cautious as to the space taken up by the Seel. Koryu was about to move Mercury out of the way before the Mawhile got what it needed and walked back over to the dirtbox.

Kakyoku wandered away from the pillow pile due to his immature trainer and found a mound in the sandbox. He noticed the Mawhile come and empty water out on the pile and realised what it was making. He used his vines to help build the structure with the Mawhile and smiled.

Chiki's curiousity then focused in on the dirtbox where Kyo and the Mawhile were building something interesting. She began charging up again and made a mad dash towards the sandbox. Koryu noticed this and found it a good time to try the graswhistle again. He blew on the blade and a soft vibrating sound filled the air, confusing the rampaging Chikorita. She walked over to the sandbox and decided to join in on the building. Koryu laughed at her confusion and went over to Kuri, "Hey, my pokemon aren't messing up your Mawhile's castle are they?"

[Looker]

John watched from afar of the other two trainers activities, he noticed that he was almost perfectly shadowing his Croagunk's posture. Slightly slouched, hands over his knees, slight dazed look, it was uncanny and made Jon give off an awkward chuckle.

A slight jerk sent the boat off from dock as the sounds of horns could be heard outside. The view of the island started to disappear off the side of the large glass windows. After short period of time the sun started to set as a soft orange light filled the room which set the room ablaze in orange light. The changing of color and slight rocking motion disturbed Natu enough that it jumped down to Jon's shoulder and took it's perch as it stared out into the sunset.

"Well I have to say, this is an amazing view." Jon said out loud, not really talking to anyone in specific. He made his way to one of the sliding glass doors and stepped onto the deck, the smell of the ocean flooding the room almost instantly. Above he could hear the faint sounds of his brother talking with a few other men and what sounded like a woman or two.

"Eh...how many people are up there?" Jon spoke out loud again, assuming no one else was around him though he soon shifted his attention to the water out in the distance was blinking on the surface though it was gone soon enough.

"There is no way that could have been...nahh I'm seeing things."

[Rezerai]

Kuri placed her Mawile down and watched as the yellow pokémon carefully added the water she had collected to the dirt. waiting for it to soak in. Once the Mawiile was satisfied with the mud she went back to crafting whatever it was she had been crafting before she had become annoyed with the dirt.

It struck Kuri that the mud might become an issue if the pokémon started to traipse it around. She had to sigh a little at the thought but resolved to keep a good eye on them and to try to prevent it happening. If needs be she'd just have to try to clean hem up before letting them go anywhere else.

The Mawile continued with her work even as the other pokémon joined in. She paid them no mind and focused on her own little area of mud, her hands crafting a trio of mounds, slowly building up the stalagmite like structures. She eyed the other pokémon but didn't go out of her way to try to get rid of them.


"Oh, no," Kuri shook her head at Koryu's question, "I'm sure she'd speak up about it if she didn't want them there." Or given the Mawile's current attitude that was what Kuri expected to happen when she wasn't happy with others being around.

The sound of the glass door being slid open was enough for her to turn around and watch Norman step out onto the deck. SHe smiled a little at the smell of the ocean, just hoping this boat would be a little nicer on her than the last one. She really didn't want to end up feeling sick and having the others worrying about her.

"Oh, no," Kuri shook her head at Koryu's question, "I'm sure she'd speak up about it if she didn't want them there.

Koryu was relieved. He didn't want his pokemon to be bothersome at all and liked knowing that he wasn't being rude by letting his pokemon impose on anything. He noticed Jon walk out on deckand yell to what seemed like nobody. Koryu gave Jon a blank stare until he realised he was talking to the people above them. Then his eyes seemed fixed on something in the distance. Koryu tried to see it, but couldn't.

He walked over to his pokemon to see them building some strange building he wasn't sure of. It seemed done and pidgey blew wind on the wet mud to harden it. Koryu was impressed. It wasn't great, but It had two stories and stairs for his pokemon to play on. He noticed Kuri's Mawhile building mounds and shaping them into points. Koryu muttered to himself, "Homesick?"

He walked out to the deck and stared out to the ocean. He loved the sea and the sunlight glistening off of it's surface. He noticed the island and found out that they had left recently. He must have been to preoccupied to notice. He bagan thinking of the water pokemon, which led to his seel. He turned and walked back into the cabin and sat next to Mercury and watched the rest of his pokemon running around the mudbox. He grimaced, "That's going to take a lot of cleaning..."

[Looker]

As the boat continued to drift along the water it slowly sank into the darkness of night. The large ceiling lights flicked on, turning the boat into a giant light bulb in the middle of a dark cave, the outside was light by a few green and red lights.

The smell of smoke seemed to waft outside across the water. The boat seemed to slow down as the sound of chains roared outside, the splash of an anchor finished the commotion.

"What i-" Jon's thoughts were interrupted by static over the intercoms.

"Uh...we seem to have stalled and we are now dead in the water," The slight yelp of someone could faintly be heard in the background, "I mean we are stuck here until it is fixed."

Jon made his way back into the room, shutting the glass door behind him.

"Well this is unexpected...I wonder what we are going to do until everything gets settled."

As if he had been waiting, Tim jumped through the door in his usual loud manner.

"Jon...and friends," Sounding rather bland towards the end, "We are having a makeshift Pokemon battle above deck and I want you three to come fight!"

"Ah no th-" Jon had no chance to respond before being forced up the stairs by Tim and onto the main deck. A group of people were sitting around and stared. Two of them Jon vaguely knew from previous meetings with his brother, The other three were new.

"Wait...where are you friends Jon?"

Koryu stood up as the boat stopped. The smell of smoke was present in the room. Koryu sent Pidgey out to see what was wrong just before the PA system rang, "Uh...we seem to have stalled and we are now dead in the water," The slight yelp of someone could faintly be heard in the background, "I mean we are stuck here until it is fixed."

Kakyoku and the rest of Koryu's pokemon came walking to him. Jon walked inside the cabin,"Well this is unexpected...I wonder what we are going to do until everything gets settled." Soon after Tim came busting in the room. "Jon...and friends, we are having a makeshift Pokemon battle above deck and I want you three to come fight!"
He didn't sound too excited that Kuri and Koryu were there after mentioning Jon, thus making Koryu begin to dislike him.

Jon began to say no, but was interrupted when Tim took him and dragged him up the boat. Koryu was intersted in a battle. He would prefer to just watch it, seeing as how his pokemon were probably the most underleveled pokemon there. Pidgey returned without information, seeing as how a bird type pokemon wouldn't know much about boats, but she noticed some smoke.

Koryu walked out on the lower deck to check if he could see anything. He overheard Tim questioning Jon where Koryu and Kuri were. Koryu rounded up his pokemon and headed up to the main deck. He noticed Tim and Jon and the others that must have been friends of Tim. Koryu quietly stood near the steps waiting for something to happen.

[Rezerai]

Kuri had frozen in shock for a few moments at the sudden smell of smoke and the noise. She didn't much like travelling on boats thanks to her tendency to feel sick but she liked the idea of swimming in the middle of the ocean even less. At least the announcement cleared things up somewhat, they could fix a simple stall... right?

It wasn't much longer after she had gotten her bearings that Jon seemed to be dragged off by his brother upstairs. She quickly went about gathering up her pokémon. Vale didn't seem to really notice the change in atmosphere o recalling him was easy enough. The mawile didn't seem to care much either way but Kuri did notice what it had been building and couldn't help but feel a pang of regret for capturing the little steel pokémon. She made a mental note to make sure to spend more time with her new addition.

Luka was a little less cooperative as was to be expected from the over protective electric cub. Not wanting to waste any time in following the other two though she picked up her partner and followed after Jon and Koryu, not wanting to be left out of any developments.

She came to a stop just behind Koryu, not overly sure what was going to be expected of them. She certainly wasn't about to be overly outgoing in the face of so many people she didn't know. She hoped the stall didn't take too long to fix if only so she could go back to actually feeling relatively comfortable around just Jon and Koryu. To suddenly be pressed back into a crowd certainly wasn't her idea of fun.

[Looker]

"Here Jon, you can fight me." A womans voice called from behind. A tall, svelt, blonde girl who seemed to be in her early twenties was waiting over at the right edge. Jon had noticed that there were three open areas for battle.

As Jon walked over the woman started to reach into her pack that was strapped to her hip. A bright red sweater and dark black shorts stuck out in the large lights that were shining down on the deck. Jon felt that he had seen her before but couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Lets begin."

The woman released her first pokemon. From the ball of light a little blue nidoran was staring back.

"We can start out easy if you like." She joked in a tone that was a lot like Tim's.

Jon's pokemon followed him up to the deck and were now standing behind him.

"Go ahead and show them what you got Nidoran." Jon commanded, motioning to the little pink pokemon who seemed afraid to fight.

"Nidoran, use poison barb!" The pokemon launched a small barrage of barbs from its mouth.

"Dodge and use quick attack!" The woman's Nidoran quickly leaped to the side as it started to dart back and fourth as it approached. The thump of its feet bouncing back and fourth as it dodged the barbs.

"Nidoran, run!" Jon yelled though to no success as his pokemon was hit in the side and was sent sliding across the floor. It soon stood back up, shaking slightly, and got ready to fight again.


"Tough little pokemon you got there Jon, let's see how long it can last." The woman joked. Jon responded with a small chuckle as he readied his next attack.

"Nidoran, run straight at it." The Nidoran gave a nod as it took off towards its opponent.

Koryu watched as Kuri followed him up the stairs. After a while of nothing a blonde girl called Jon. Koryu followed Jon with his eyes and noticed some battle areas. Two Nidoran were released after the announcement of a new battle.

Koryu watched as some of the first blows were successful. He stood and soon enough, another person seemed keen to fight. He approached Koryu, his pokeballs in his hands. The man blurted out to Koryu, "Hey, kid! Ready for a battle?" The man smirked and contorted his face in a way that provoked Koryu. He seemed confident he would win against Koryu, as if he couldn't battle to save his life. Koryu became angry and called his pokemon, "Yeah, of course I am!"

Koryu walked onto the opposite side of the battle area from Koryu's opponent. In a quick moment of realization, he thought about how weak his pokemon might be opposed to the other person's. He stood, shocked at what he was getting in to, but the silence was broken after his realization. "Are you ready?" Koryu stood, confused as to what expect, and nodded. "Alright then, this will be a three on three battle. Now, let's go!"

The man released his first pokemon, a growlithe. Koryu was shocked. A fire type against a Grass trainer will not end well. Koryu calmed down and finally called out his first choice.

"Alright, come on Mercury." Koryu was anxious as to how his seel would fend without water. Koryu was glad to see it just sat there.

Koryu mumbled to himself, "It will not have good evasion, but at least I have a type advantage."

The man started off his move with bite. The little dog ran forward and dug his teeth into the seel's skin. Mercury wasn't badly injured, but she still took on some damage.

"Ok Mercury, Growl." The Seel responded with a small whine.

The man looked at Koryu, completely surprised. "Is that really all you've got?" He started laughing in dibelief. "You've got to be kidding! Growlithe, Bite again."

The small dog ran in the same fashion as it had before, and jumped just before it reached it's opponent.

"Quick, Mercury, roll out of the way and use Headbutt!" Mercury rolled just as the Growlithe was about to land, and when the it finally landed, she used as much energy as she could to jump toward the pokemon and land a blow.

Koryu was proud, never had he timed something so perfectly, and it work so well. The growlithe ran back to it's side and sat down wearliy as the Seel clapped her fins together.

The man again, was in disbelief. "Alright, then. Lets see what else you can manage to do. Growlithe, Leer!"

[Looker]

Guys, I'm sorry. This rp has gone far longer then I thought I would and I am running out of available time to check GTS. I am going to have to close this rp down. I didn't want to do this but I didn't expect the rp to last nearly a month.

If either of you want to put it in for grading please just include me in it for when ever I am able to spend enough time to rp again.

I am truly sorry for this.
