I really love Gardevoir. It's stats aren't bad at all and it learns some decent moves. The only thing I have to say is that a male Gardevoir is just weird. tongue.gif

And, it's in Brawl and uses Safeguard. Really helpful! smile.gif

Does anyone else like Gardevoir?

Really I think she is very beauty but in power I think Gallade is better

I dunno. Gallade would definately be better suited as a Physical Sweeper, but I like Sp. Attackers a lot. And I think Calm Mind really compliments Gardevoir's stats well.

Gardevoir gets being a classic, Gallade gets being cool looking, other than that, they have the same exact stats except special attack and attack switch

I think...almost anything you teach to Gardevoir, you can teach to Kirlia, which means gallade can learn it, giving gallade that extra bit of unpredictability

iirc Kirlia can't learn Wish where Gardevoir can. Either that or both of them can learn it; regardless, it's before level 20.

if you everstone it you can wait to level 100 to evolve male kirlia into Gallade, I'll look and see what the previous evo moves are for Kirlia. Remember though, you can always heart scale a Gallade, but you can't reteach it kirlias moves

Kirlia/ralts:
Growl
Lucky Chant
Magical Leaf
Imprison
Future Sight
Charm
Hypnosis

Lucky Chant and Charm can't be learned by Gardevoir, They are learned by either Ralts or Kirlia

Egg Moves
Disable
Confuse Ray
Destiny Bond
Mean Look
Will-o-wisp
Memento
Grudge
Shadow Sneak

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/mball/mball10.html Reflect, it uses, actually. tongue.gif

I'm personally not a big fan of Gardevoir, however. dry.gif Gallade's cool though.

Gardevoir's stats aren't bad, but its movepool is horrible. Gardevoir looks excellent on paper, but it's useless in actual battle.

(knows this from experience, trained one for competitive play)

are they really? I've heard of some people who put them to pretty good use, just not in the ou metagame, usually used in some cheap uu games, and used in some of the slightly weaker ou, just because you can't use it. Maybe you were trying to use it for the wrong things, she has more status moves and stuff and in ou is usually replaced by alakazam, but not always. Gardevoir is BL, so it is probably allowed in UU most of the time, It's like the UU alakazam, if you were making an OU team, I can see your problem though, if you're hard up for movesets, instead of the normal smogon, this site has some good ones
