Hi all,
I'm currently trying to breed Miniors. I have a Minior bred by LUSS and a Carbink taken from the lab. They're the same level, 1. They also share the Mineral egg group. Unless it's because they're both genderless and Pokemon breeding cannot be the same gender (which doesn't seem intuitive to me, as it's not like they're both male or both female), I can't figure out why they won't produce eggs. Does anyone know why the Daycare says they're incompatible? This post has been edited by Sizacu: Mar 2 2020, 08:06 AM |

Pokemon need to be different genders to breed. Genderless is simply a third gender that exists alongside male and female in the game mechanics. The only exceptions are ditto, which can breed with every breedable pokemon except for another ditto, and zygrade which can breed with another zygarde.

Huh, I didn't think of genderless as a third gender. Makes sense now lol. Thank you!
