Which do you prefer: the originals or the remakes and why? I think they're both great, but the originals are a bit more nostalgic for me, plus with the originals, I can actually feel like it's possible to catch them all.

And, Mew you can catch throgh ACTUAL game play after collecting all 150, then Mew becomes accesible. -------------------- |

The only thing that I can see is better about LG/FR over Red/Blue is graphics and the addition of Dunsparce. Perhaps Crobat as well, and having more Bug moves, but then again, I'm starting to rant.
So, even though I've never played it per se, Red/Blue. |

That was a tough one for me. I like FireRed/LeafGreen for the new added things like being able to get some of the Pokemon past 151 and the new Islands, but Red/Blue get my vote for being the good old originals that started it all.

I am no longer able to play any original Gameboy games, so I'm stuck with the FR/LG ones. That said, I really do prefer them. The graphics and user-interface upgrade really make it more enjoyable for me. I tend to replay my games over and over rather than complete one full, pokedex and all, so for that, and the fact that you can catch pokemon in them to Pal Park over to D/P/Pt, make them the best for me.

I prefer the remakes. I have played the original - lasted 5 minutes.

I have only ever played LeafGreen before. However, my older brother once got the Red/Blue/Yellow ROMs (I think that's what they were? :s) and I got to play through Yellow. I have to say it was pretty darn amazing. I think, if given the choice, I may choose Yellow (or Red or Blue or whatever). I know the graphics suck compared to what we have now, but it's hard to beat the originals.

I prefer the classics. The remakes are good, but they just don't feel the same as the originals.

The older games.
I didn't quite like the remakes that much. |

I was really raised in the generation of the remakes, but I always feel giddy playing the originals. You can't help but feel awesome and being really apart of the games when you play the originals. I don't know how to explain it.

Even though Psychic Pokemon were basts back in the originals, there's still something about them. Gotta love how almost all your Pokemon looked identical from the back XD
