Girlfriend masuda'd a shiny litwik. had an awesome nature, and great stats too. she was lucky. also, one of my friends ran into a shiny axew and caught it. I've been unfortunate enough to net run into one yet. oh well, i'm not too worried. i'd rather use a pokemon that will win than a pokemon that is different colors.

For years of playing, I never acquired nor I encountered a shiny. Not even once. *sigh* I'm actively shiny hunting for a shiny Skitty (in Platinum, Soul Silver, Black AND White) and so far I didn't even get one yet.

nope, not for pokemon black/white
for past games- On pokemon ruby/sapphie i found a shiny voltorb (it was silver on top, white on bottom) and caught it  I found a shiny Snoverb (i think that's the poke name, ice type that looks like a mini tree, shiny version he's blue instead of teal on his belly/hands) on poke diamond, caught that the typical red gyarados on HG/SS/gold/crystal/silver i've tried hatching a shiny vulpix with my japanese ninetails n' american ditto (supposedly breeding two poke of different countries doubles your chances) but i was unsuccessful T_T This post has been edited by Kumo987: May 24 2011, 10:24 PM --------------------       |

I play pokémon games since I was 5 (now I'm 16) and the only shiny that I've found was a Zigzagoon in Emerald. So, no, I haven't found yet. ;c

I've just started trying to Masuda method me a shiny Zorua since it's the only shiny I really want where I have a Pokemon I can use to breed it from my Japanese game. And once I get Zorua, I miiiiiiight try for a shiny MM Mienfoo. (my Mienshao right now is pretty much perfect for me, but an alt. color one wouldn't hurt either~)

I got a shiny Patrat the first day I got Black.
It's still in my box, cause I'll never use it.  On Platinum, Soul Silver, and Heart Gold, I have quite a few shinies. I'm lucky I guess. The first shiny I got was a Shinx. Sadly, I didn't catch it.

I got a shiny deino. I thought "lucky". In the second generation, I ran into the red gyarados... But that doesn`t count, does it? I got a shiny zubat and shiny ghastly in pokemon diamond. I also got a shiny magikarp in pokemon Heart Gold, but I got pissed because you ENCOUNTER ITS EVOLUTION SHINY IN THE WILD 100%.

I've found and caught quite a few in previous generations, but...
Aside from RNGing in this gen, I randomly hatched a Venipede, found a Ducklett, and I found a Woobat the other day. All post game. -------------------- Formerly known as CloudCuckooLander.

Well, it's finally mine~
A couple weeks ago, after a few weeks of using the Masuda Method, out popped a female shiny Zorua. (now a Zoroark) My boyfriend saw I was taking a while and offered to help, so the Zorua was actually hatched on his game and promptly given to me. Unfortunately her higher attacking stat has a hindering nature tacked onto it, but she's still a good battler regardless. five hours into the game and a shiny swadloon pops up when I wasn't looking. it was the first time I had seen a swadloon and I was looking at my friends screen when the sparks came. my friend said something was weird with its colours and checked her pokedex if it was shiny. it was and i cought it. lucky me.

Haven't encountered any, just some I had on my old games and transferred over. I have a Japanese Arcanine I'm gonna use for the Masuda method, and a Japanese Simisear.
