Since most of the RPs I see are either filled or pretty old, I am opening a new roleplay. Characters of any faction can join, since there is no mission.

My character, Roger O'Doherty will be in it. I just wanted to start a discussion thread to see if there were people available to RP... I don't want to start a new RP and have nobody join it.

After a discussion with Dragonwish, who has gotten a little busy recently, we decided to cancel our current rp. That frees my Rebellion Character, Dr. Regan Chamuel, up for a roleplay.

Shall we begin brainstorming missions? I know that one of Regan's overarching objectives is to get back her pokemon from Magma. If you'd like, it could be a simple: "Break into this warehouse and secure something" mission, which could have a secondary objective of "Rescue Regan's Pokemon". It'll be your first Uprising roleplay, so I think we should keep it simple.

Would it be possible for Khezu to join up as well? It's been a while since I've been in a roleplay so I feel a lot more motivated this time around. I also need to update some of the writing in Khezu's profile so apologizes if there's some confusion.

Alright, Roger is currently a civilian who might want to join the rebels- So we'll have to think of a way for Roger to meet Regan, and how Khezu will fit in, being a team Aqua member...

Let's see...Regan can be en-route from the Sanctuary, where she's set upon by Magma, since she's an ex-prisoner. Roger and maybe even Khezu can jump in to help her.

She's on a mission to do...something. But her own objective is to get back one of her pokemon that Rebellion Intel spotted in a Magma safe-house. She's too well known, so she can enlist Roger to help her out. Khezu, on the other hand, she may be suspicious of, due to the mission where they first crossed paths.

But, if you want to get faction points, you might want to start by saying Roger's already joined the Rebellion, that way the Doc and Roger can start out on a mission together.

Yep, that sounds good to me. Khezu could accompany both of them and, at the end, attempt to hijack the object (and depending on the outcome, succeeding or failing to do so) or they could just meet up at the warehouse and go from there.

I want Roger to join the rebellion organically- He'll probably be an initiate in the next rp (or not, I'm not impatient to have him earning faction points) now, it's not in Roger's nature to help strangers, but if someone comes to his aid, he'd consider them an ally.

Then here we go:

1.) Regan sets out on a mission.
2.) Khezu sets out on a mission, perhaps tailing Regan? She's a former Magma Prisoner, so she may be considered recruitable material? Or at least, she's a person of interest to Aqua?
3.) Regan runs into some trouble with some Magma dudes, and Roger maybe steps in to help her? She recognizes one of the enemy pokemon as one that was formerly hers.
4.) Regan deviates from her mission to rescue her pokemon, Roger and Khezu go to help her?

I'm not comfortable with Regan revealing that she works for the Rebellion, but it might set her up for a sequel mission with Roger, wherein it's her mission to recruit him?

I like this idea. Would Khezu partake in the first fight or should I have him just run around doing something else until you guys are done?

That seems okay, as long as Roger can get himself in some trouble. The only reason for Roger to be in Aqua territory at all is if he were looking for trouble.

Okay, we got the basics down (I think) now on to the setting. What's the time/place?

Okay...why don't we set it at the Northside Mall (C3 on the Noverus Map.)

Let's say morning, mostly because it would make sense? Regan's mission will be to head to the Northside Mall facility, take stock of the medical supplies, and see what can be parsed out to the civilians in the lower district.

En route, she's recognized by a patrol of Magma Agents (three Magmas, naturally), and accosted. She started to fight back, but she's a rather poor battler, preferring to focus on support and healing.

That's when Roger and Khezu step in? Rescuing the older damsel in distress?

Regan recognizes one of the pokemon as a pokemon she used to own, but was taken by Magma. She'll aim to reclaim her pokemon. I may also have her catch a pokemon at the onset, as Regan has a Shiny Pokemon prize from a prior fanfiction contest. Her Cleffa will be in the possession of Magma, and I have plans for her to catch a Shiny Skitty.

So....naming.

Doctor in Distress?
Guardian Angels? (I kinda like this one, because that's what Roger and Khezu would be here. Also, Regan has an Angel theme in her naming: Chamuel, Uri (Uriel), and Sophie (Sophiel).)

R&R at the Northside Mall (It's not 'Rest' and 'Relaxation'.)

I like the first three titles the most, probably leaning towards either the first or third one, though.

Khezu is probably gonna receive a new Pokemon right at the start so it shouldn't divert him much from the plot. Khezu's mission will probably be to interrogate Regan but one way or another he ends up tagging along with them for the rescue mission.

Then with your permissions, I'd love to begin. Hydro liked: "Northside Mall Mayhem" and "Guardian Angels" as viable names. Aura, care to weigh in for the name of this episode?

Alrighty, 'Guardian Angels' does seem quite catchy so I'll be voting for that one!

So, fun fact, remember that Pokemon I said Khezu was getting? I was planning on naming it Azrael a long time ago. Guess it kinda fits in with the whole angel theme now, hah.

I'll probably have to sprout wings and find a halo somewhere to fit in atm, nothing angelic about Zephyr... divine however yes, as his name is that of the greek god of the West wind :p This is totally unrelated to the topic but the next thing isn't:

So just wondering who's going to start the thread,as I am thinking that will probably be Kamaitchi, the percentage of me being right is pretty low but still...
