Weezing
Type:Poison Supposed tier: OU Base Stats- 65 HP / 90 Atk / 120 Def / 60 Spd / 65 SAtk / 70 SDef 470 BST Weaknesses: Psychic(x2) Resistances: Fighting(x0.5), grass(x0.5), bug(x0.5), poison(x0.5) Immunities:Ground (levitate) Abilities- Levitate: Weezing is immune to ground type moves, unless gravity is used. Takes no damage from spikes. Physical wall Weezing @ Leftovers Ability:Levitate EVs:252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Pain split - Haze - Thunderbolt / Will-o-Wisp - Sludge Bomb Sludge Bomb is your STAB move. Thunderbolt helps take out Gyarados easier. Will-o-Wisp scares physical attackers as long as they don't have the Guts ability. Haze eliminates stat changes. Pain Split isn't the most reliable HP healing move, but it works. You can put both will-o-wisp and Tbolt to murder gyarados and it's sweeping capabilites. Special Sweeper Weezing @ Leftovers Ability:Levitate EVs: 120 HP / 136 Atk / 252 SpA Quiet Nature (+SAtk -Spd) - Explosion - Shadow ball - Flamethrower / Fire blast - Sludge bomb Trick Blissey or nother special wall to come in, and then just explode on them. Sludge Bomb is STAB. Your Fire move is for Heracross and Steels. Fire Blast will 2HKO Heracross, but if you hate missing, go with Flamethrower, as Weezing can take some hits from him. In-depth damage analysis of explosion on blissey and other special walls: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text Other Options: Destiny Bond and Memento are alternate suicide moves for Weezing. Destiny bond can be hard to use with weezings slow speed and memento works if you need a really damaged opponent to set up your next pokemon. Payback, Dark Pulse and Assurance can be used to deal with Gengar if you don't want Shadow Ball. Double hit can break substitutes but in normal play I woudn't reccomend using it. EVs / Nature: Like most walls, Weezing should focus on his HP and Defense stats, unless you are using the Special Sweeping set. Counters: Heatran is the best Weezing counter ever. It gets boosted by Fire moves, is immune to Sludge Bomb, resists Explosion and murders Weezing with STAB Fire moves. Most good Special attacking Psychic type with Psychic OHKOs Weezing. Opinion: Weezing is great against Heracross and other Fighters. Although he no longer has any physical STAB and does a little less damage. -------------------- |

Have you done damage calculations on wheather an explosion can take out a Blissey?
Be careful because unlike in gen 3 a pokemon can use a move after the foe uses explosion so Weezing could use explosion, blissey could survive it and then use softboiled. If you want to make the ultimate Gyrados counter change Will-O-Wisp for sludgebomb or haze. It may not have a stab move but it would kill Gyrados with one or two TBolts. Poison doesnt have much coverage. Another option is Double Hit as it breaks substitutes. -------------------- |

Explosion on a max HP and max Def blissey does an average of 749 damge which is above blisseys max HP. It does a minimum of 689 which will till KO a blissey which has been hurt by stealth rock.
Double hit only hits twice and has a very small 35 BP but I guess it can go in other options. -------------------- |

For this set I would add Will-O-Wisp as a option over haze because its more common to use roar or whirlwind to eliminantes stat changes. Also Flamethrower should be used over Sludge Bomb because it provides better type coverage and it helps deal with Heracross who will switch in often hoping to get a Will-o-Wisp. |
