I didnt really put much effort in the title but heres a question/statement.
Even though most of the earthquakes are done and over with what if later on in the year the earthquakes start to become more frequent and severe? since there was a chain of earthquakes ive heard on the news 5 total. 1.chile 2.haiti 3.hawaii 4 and 5 i cant remember also im sure everyone heard about the earths tilt changing but its not that signifigant. (This was just a random thought) -------------------- |

Santa Rosa (near San Francisco, also in California, even more friends living there) And they're expecting a "big one" in California as well. Random thought: Did you know that only 1 in 500 earthquakes will cause some sort of damage? This post has been edited by Made from RAEGNESS: Apr 7 2010, 05:28 PM -------------------- |

There's probably the same amount of earthquakes that happen every year, its just that this year these earthquakes happen to have occurred in more populated places than usual.

the earths tilt has nothing to do with earthquakes. it'll just affect the weathering system. and possible seasons.
the only one im waiting for is the cataclysmic earthquake in San Fransisco -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. Add me for daily clicks: 873/1000 --- Community Thread Shiny List! --- Breeding Incentives: Mission Cards |

I heard there were 2 in china. One after haiti (in a remote region) and one a good bit after that that was more serious.
I also heard in clare (county in Ireland) there was A 2.9! OMG (Obviously I live in Ireland to have noticed this). -------------------- [Me][My Bro] (click to show ) Nintendo 3DS FC: 3024-6524-0103|NNID: Wingcap|Steam: Wingcapx pretty much everything credit Cycloneblaze, except the egg |

QUOTE Maybe its something to do with the 2012 thingy. 2012 End Of The Worldis just a conspiracy. Yeah, I'm definitely expecting more earthquakes to happen this year, since the Earth is restless, the plates are always moving. I'm also expecting 2010 to be the year of Natural Disasters.
Also, about the whole "2012" thing: I don't think the world's going to end then. I love how scientists don't take into account that maybe the Mayans just got tired of making their calendar. I would be, too, if I was doing for so many years ahead. -------------------- |

groan. the earthquakes are simply happening in random places. and 2012 only on thing will happen differently. 25% of the world is gonna run in the streets like chicken little, "The sky if falling! The sky is falling!
