I've noticed randimg wont upload certain pics no matter what..usually.png ones, I had to use signavatar in order to add my shiny shinx pokemorph into a rotating avatar >.> never had an issue with it

I don't know, it has always worked fine before this... I'll see about shooting Zerx an e-mail 'bout it.
Until then, I wonder if I saved the images in a different format, would it work?

EDIT: nope, .png is the only viable format that retains the transparency. which is kind of the point.

well until its fixed I've switched to another rotating avy site, you have to use links instead of pics from ur comp (so u might have to upload to photobucket if u arent sure the links will stay valid) but it has none of these issues, I had to use it for my banner rotation along with my avatar cause randimg wouldnt let me use the tiger chibi neko siggy u made for me >.> if anyone wants to use it until randimg fixes it heres the link: http://signavatar.com/

What program are you using for this?
Because I frequently upload .png images in which I used layers to randimg before, always works fine.
I use paint.NET, which provides an option to "flatten" (read: compress all the layers, one atop another, into one) the image before saving it as a .png. If you don't, it has to save as a .pdn (.paint.net) image. Which is useful for editing the layers later... but I digress.

I use Photoshop and for the transparency and I need to save them as a merged layers. The flatten option makes all the transparent parts white.

That's the problem then. Open the image in paint.NET (with the layers, somehow), use the flatten operation there (which conserves transparancy), save as .png, done. Or just try and save as .png while the image has layers - it'll provide you with an option to flatten it, which you can then undo.

Unfortunately I have XP SP2 so it doesn't work but i found an option in photoshop. I just have to save them "interlaced".

I'll repost all pics in a new post, working on randimg. ninja'd ... works only with avatars.

Works fine under SP3 on my other computer... though I recall dotPDN dropped XP support. Can you not upgrade to SP3?
