I went ahead and verified you posted in the Challenger's List, so we're all set. Challenge accepted.

Send me those times~

Best time to do it would be this weekend, but I have exams this week and I'll be home sorta early. What time are you on? I'm EST.

Cold as Ice

I'm eastern as well, and homeschooled, so anytime is great. Let's shoot for, say, 6:30 PM Saturday?

Well, this friday I only have one exam, which ends at 10:15. I'd be home at 11ish, if I can get a timely ride. So if that works out, how about then? That way, if we want to rematch, we can do it on the weekend.

I actually won't be home all day Friday, more than likely. I'll PM you if that changes, but it probably won't. Saturdays and Sundays are good for me, most times; I'm home all afternoon on both.

Cole watched in horror as Absol, who had stood in battle alone, no partner to help her, fell to the ground, frozen. He'd never forget the look in her eyes as she fell. Not anger, not fear, but... sadness. She was sad because she let him down. Absol, his partner for nearly ten years, had no care about the pain she felt, or the cold that bit into her, but for letting her trainer down. Cole felt tears of regret well in his eyes. Images of the battle flashed in his head. Weavile, such a new addition to the team, obtained only two weeks ago from far across the sea, giving her all because she trusted him to guide her. Charizard and Swampert, usually so indomitable, falling side by side, partners forever. The look in Swampert's eye as it reached for the Rindo berry it usually carried, only to find it not there. Kami the Lucario and Kali the Luxray as they struggled to keep their footing against two back to back earthquakes. Cole ran a hand through Absol's fur. "I'm sorry." He returned her to her pokeball. "Take a good rest. You earned it."
Cole turned to Vincent. "Good battle. For you I suppose. We weren't ready. I was expecting a single battle, to be honest." Vincent smiled and said nothing, Abomansnow and Froslass standing behind him. "Rematch sometime soon?"

geez, I kind of got into that story. I planned my strategy for a single battle, so... yeah. That's why I was a little unprepared. I think that if it snows here in New England as much as they're predicting tuesday into wednesday, I'll likely have a snow day. So, if you want to rematch then, I'll let you know what happens. Just as a rather weird thing, around my house, it's 7 degrees right now, and right when our battle started, the heating in my house shut off. Ice's majesty, manifested. Brrr.

Cole's hand gripped Charizard's pokeball, hoping some of the warmth from his hand transferred into the dragon. "Next time, we'll get them. Next time. I promise."

I'm short on time, otherwise I'd oblige to an RP. I'll accept your rematch, but in the future, be sure to specify whether your challenge is to be Singles or Doubles; I always default to Doubles.

Okay, thanks. Hope to see you wednesday, or barring that, saturday.

I remember seeing your post in the other thread regarding your Generation 5 team.

Before I challenge, just thought I'd ask; is your team ready on Black/White at all?

My team will be updated upon my next challenge.

My new router, however, says I can't battle from home anymore. <.< So challenges will be spotty. I may redownload Shoddy Battle simply for the convenience, though that would be an extreme.

(Sorry for not posting. I'm used to not getting challenges anymore, so I hardly check this XD)

Kane

As Kane, my Arcanine, cut down the last wild Weavile, his ears perked up in excitement. He'd sniffed out the trail. We'd spent days in this dreaded cave, fending off Mamoswines and Weaviles and, finally, Kane had found the trail. Day after endless day winding through the spiderwebbed labrynth of underground trails that was the subterrainean, sub-zero, ice cave that led to Sub-Zero Gym. I mounted Kane.
"Use extremespeed!" I said in utter anticipation.
We zipped and zigzaged down the trail in a flurry of fur, fire, and paws. In no less than forty seconds, we'd covered a mile. And then I saw it. So did Kane as he slowed to a halt. The chill. The goosebumps from both the cold and the excitement. We had entered the largest cavern in the cave. Pokemon battlefield gridlines had been painted on the craggy, gray floor. And at the far end of the tremendous cavern sat Gym Leader Vincent Lance on a ten-foot-tall throne of solid ice. On his left was the biggest Rhyperior I'd ever laid eyes on. Kane dared growl at a sizable Abomasnow to Vicent's right. Both Pokemon stood at the base of throne, as if guarding their master. Abomasnow and Rhyperior growled a warning back at Kane. Then, Kane cocked his head to one side and spit a flame out of the side of his heated jaws. A very daring challenge to Arcanines.
"Welcome, challenger," Vincent finally spoke. "Hell has frozen over."

Haha, I love roleplay so i sorta got into it a bit. Hope you like it, I did my best.

No no, it's fine, I like it. You didn't post a link to your post in the challenger thread, but I found you okay, so challenge accepted. PM me the best date for you, and I'll tell you what I have open.
