Since Uprising has been set up for a while, and we have a fair amount of members, I decided to make a suggestions topic. So if you guys have any ideas, feel free to throw them out there and if they're reasonable and good, I'll probably implement them.

Have you ever thought of adding user created pokemon into Uprising? If so then here is one of mine. Sorry but I don't have a spirit for it yet.
Name: Darkling Type: Dark/ Ghost Description: This pokemon is know to make practical jokes on other beings. They also like to stick to dark places but occasionally move out into the light. The color of there orb seems to show there gender with red being Female and Blue being Male. Species: Shadow Evo: none Height: 8 Inches Weight: 3 lbs There body is a black mass with an orb in the center that acts like an eye. The color of the orb is red for female and blue for male. When they copy another beings form there skin/fur remain black and there eyes keep the color of there orb. Moves: Shadow Claw-Start Shadow Sneak-Lv.14 Shadow Ball-Lv.20 Dark Pulse-Lv.28 Shadow Punch-Lv.35 Shadow Copy-Start (This move is similar to Ditto's copy except the Darkling stays a ghost/dark type and only copies one move from the pokemon. They can only use a move they have seen.) Abilitys: Base Form-Hidden (This pokemon has a chance to dodge auto hit moves like Aura Sphere when in its base form.) Copied Form-You can choose Letan Reason for edit: Spelling errors that needed to be fixed. Pokemon as equipment!
Agents are given one or two pokemon to help them with a mission. Spinarak as grappling hooks or net throwers for captures. Whismur as distraction devices for getaway and entry. The rules? This pokemon CANNOT be used in a battle. If it is confronted, it goes into the pokeball until it is safe. It's ONLY move is the one is it specifically designed for, or two if they have a double use (ie; Spinarak can firse a very strong string shot for grappling hooks use or Spider Web as a net.) It has no offensive capabilities. It can't be used in battles, that's what your team is for. A mod must approve it before it is assigned. Huh? Huh? -------------------- |

Yeah, that could work with all of the limitations and whatnot. I'll probably get around to making a thread about that sometime soon.

Maybe you guys could update the world map of the area around Noverus to include some of the other locations. And maybe add some more vehicles.

Maybe you guys could update the world map of the area around Noverus to include some of the other locations. And maybe add some more vehicles. Do you mean a map of Noverus in relation to the rest of Hoenn? Eh, it's up to Kazyx, since he was the one that made the original map. As for vehicles, the ones that are mentioned aren't necessarily the only ones available. Pretty much, so long as it's reasonable, you could come up with a vehicle that either faction uses and utilize it in the RPs that you're in. -------------------- [align=center]

Actually, by update the map, I meant include locations people frequent in RPs. Like Montague Point. You could also cut the city into sections an label them, like Poor District is here, ect.
The vehicle thing makes sense, though. -------------------- |

I've added small numbers on the map in the Locations thread to make it a bit easier to see the districts. However, I doubt I'll add frequently-visited locations since it would probably require the map to be enlarged, which means that I'd need Kazyx to do that. Plus, it'd also mean that the map would have to be updated fairly frequently.

You know I wonder if we can implement a friendship system between the trainers of Upraising and their pokemon.
Short of like Ash and that other kid with a pikachu. Being together they kind of just own shit in the anime. :P Though there are BAD examples like Jessie and James. They always screw themselves up. Then again they are trying to catch pikachu... again and again. |

QUOTE the thing about novelties not being in it does that mean no primal dialga? Legendaries in general will not be seen in this roleplay. At all. Novelties are such pokemon as seen in GPX+ (Slime Slugma, Clone Charmander, Easter Buneary, ETC, ETC) and do not exist in this roleplay, either. I would very much like you to explain this, as I am intrigued. -------------------- |

If you guys had the authority, maybe a rewards system for exceptional RPs that actually effect your pokemon on GPX+.
Also another suggestion would to be have a section where you can ONLY use pokemon that you actually have on GPX+. Both suggestions help try and raise the activeness in both the RP section and the GPX+ section. -------------------- |

We don't have the authority to implement either of those suggestions. For one, Uprising is a self contained large roleplay that is only a small part of the GTS+ forums. For another, the only way that I know of to raise any levels on GPX+ is to click.
Your second suggestions sounds like it would be it's own roleplay forum, seperate from Uprising and PANE. -------------------- |

Sounds reasonable. I have only been here one day so I really don't know that much about the community (but so far it has been pretty friendly), thanks for the answer.
On a side note: am I able to post signups now? -------------------- |

Yes, you can start a thread if you wish, however I still suggest that you read the Finished Roleplays forum (in the Uprising Roleplay forum) to get a good idea of what we generally look for.

How about an event showing the Pokemon's side of view with their trainer? I mean, I know that the Pokemon already talk to one another, but I was thinking that you can see everything that happened from that Pokemon's perspective. Maybe?

This kind of thing is handled in RPs, frequently. Could you explain more what you mean?

I mean instead of a third person view on the situation, we can see a first person view in the Pokemon's perspective. From what they're thinking to the battles their opponents.

Again, I don't quite understand. Are you talking about something like this or something else?
