Man im doing a shiny ralts hunt and some other person hatched a shiny and i bred it and i hatched over 149 eggs just for shiniy ralts do you ever get mad when people hatch your shiny and you have been searching for that pokemon for a while now?:(Well Hopefully I Hatch 1:P

It's only happened to me once. I bred one shiny Mudkip, but I didn't really care about Mudkip... One shiny Skitty, which I got, and one shiny Dratini. I was disappointed about the Dratini because I was hunting for it, and it's one of the hardest non-novelty/legendary eggs to hatch, but I got mine the next day from an egg bred by someone else. It wasn't too big of a deal for me.
But if it were to be something like Eevee, which I've hatched 1000+ eggs for, then yes, I'd be pissed.  I'm sorry you missed your Ralts. Good luck, I hope you get one soon!

I also realize, by donating an egg, it's no longer mine....so in essence, while you bred this egg..it isn't "yours' and thus isn't "your shiny". All my Shinies are from other users (except my gyarados) and I've never breed a shiny for anyone else so I don't know how does it feels, btw I always send a message to the breeder user thanking him/her for the shiny ^^

Personally, of all the shinies I've bred, only one of them I was actually hunting, and my best friend happened to get the egg lol. I honestly never could get upset about it because I know he cherishes it like everything now because it was bred by me.

you know what i acually dont feel really upset about no more i might just get luckie and end up hatching another next acually i am not i just know i feel happy for the person that got it after all the person that got it was a newbie:0)

I didn't say you'd never get your shiny (so I don't know what you mean by "thanks for the encouragement)...I just said you shouldn't get mad at the person. Why make them feel guilty :<
You asked the question. I answered. It's a shame and disappointing to miss a shiny, but it happens... I actually used to send congratulatory PMs ot people who got shinies I bred. But I started breeding too many (I've bred 23 shinies and only have gotten like 8 or 9 of them)...so I just wrote a little congrats note in my journal, heh. edit: nevermind. lol. I don't own 4 of the 10 shinies I've bred. I don't mind breeding someone a shiny too much if it isn't one that I'm looking for.
However, I do mind if someone I really don't like gets my bred shiny. And two of my bred shinies are owned by such people. Meh. --------------------  |

My first batch of eggs bred for the shiny Relicanth hunt had a shiny in the 4th one out of 5 and I took the 2nd... if I had just taken that one I wouldn't have to go through 150+ fails looking for one.

My pokemon have bred 6 shinies, 3 shiny finneon and 3 shiny chinchou, both of which I have shiny hunted. Luckily I hatched one of those shiny chinchous, but I still haven't hatched a shiny finneon and I'm over 550 now. It's always a bummer to see someone who wasn't even hunting them managing to hatch a shiny you bred, but I still try to feel happy for them. Try.

I always check to see if anyone in possession of my eggs hatched them shiny. None so far, but if that happens, I will bang my head against the wall repeatedly.

I have really good daycare luck when it comes to picking shinies. I've managed to get every single one that I was hunting for, and then today I hatched eggs on Nick's account, released the fails, and got two of his daycare eggs from the batch of four. One of them ended up shiny. lol
As for the one I didn't get, I was just breeding hoothoots and chatots for the heck of it to up my bred count. (And to hopefully spread more cool/cute bird shinies around. <3) --------------------  |

Are you kidding? Breeding a shiny makes me happy whether I get it or not. I did have a second of being sad when I realized I bred a shiny shuppet and didn't get it but it didn't last long. Breeding a shiny is second best to hatching one myself.
