yeah, I fail completely...
So I already beat all trainers on the roads, and the woods are blocked by that team gathering, so I cannot go and train there. I have also managed to defeat the gym trainers, but the leader is just way too high in level. My team is only LVL 16-ish and I would need to be at least 20 to beat her. Catching and leveling up one of the fight type pokes found in the area also takes way too long, even if I use the daycare. Do you come to have any tips where/how I can level up?

I managed to win with pokemon around that level you've said, 16-ish. I caught a fighting type for the gym and the leader KOed it on the first move. Fat lot of good catching that thing did for me. What won the battle for me was a roggenrola that I'd caught in the wellspring cave. It's got good defence, resists normal-type moves, and can learn rock smash. It ended up being a perfect tank for me, much to my surprise. It was the only pokemon I had left, and the leader was down to her last. I only needed to use one super potion on roggenrola to deal with her watchog.

Maybe it's just me, but that Retaliate move seems broken. I know it's supposed to get a power boost if used after an ally has fainted, but even WITHOUT that boost that attack either KOs or ALMOST KOs my pokemon every time. It was that attack that slaughtered my party except for roggenrola.

I do have a roggenrolla, but it is only like lvl 12 or so. The dark grass means you will have a higher chance of a team fight, which does not give you much more EXP, but instead will divide the EXP won between all of your pokemon involved in the battle.

First, if you trained for a little bit before Accumula and then fought every trainer after that your pokemon should be at least level 20. Second, battle lots of Audinos.

hehe, I told you I fail ^.^
But I do not feel like restarting either.
I even caught an Audino on the way, but found its attacks pretty much useless

And thats what TMs are for......keep training and soon you'll get more cooler TMs to teach Audino - remember
normal pokemon can be pretty darn strong if you give em really good moves.

yeah, that helped a lot. Even though all but oneof pokesd were defeated, I can finally move on with the storyline and train in the woods.
