c+p from the same topic I made at another forum.
Where do you go to college/university or where do you want to apply? I'm a senior so this is probably the best time for me to be thinking about this, but atm I'm thinking Penn State University University of Maryland, College Park Temple Delaware ... with UMBC being my very very very very very very VERY last resort. I'm looking towards a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in music because I love tenor brass. -------------------- |

You'd wanna hit the books ASAP if you're aiming for Trinity, Ludo! You need almost 600 points to do Medicine there.
College is at least two years away for me but I have it planned already - my top priority is Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, and my fallback is Dublin City University. I'm more familiar with DCU but IADT has better courses that are suited to me. And I need less points for IADT I'm planning on doing a three-year English Media and Cultural Studies course at IADT; if I go to DCU I'm taking a four-year course in Journalism. -------------------- |

Uni is expensive :/
I'm considering applying to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Michigan and University of Texas at Austin, among others. All to do Aeronautical Engineering, of course. There aren't any good programmes for that where I am, in Singapore. That's for US, I've also been told Univ of New South Wales and Univ of Sydney have good aerospace programmes. Right now I should be studying. -------------------- |

Emory in Atlanta. My grandpa went there and my mom works at their hopsital (like that matters)
But it has one of the best medical programs and medical is my chosen career pathway. If that doesn't work... Maybe SMU in Texas.... No reknowned medical programs, but it seems like a nice school. But after those two... I'm kinda lost... My great Uncle is a professor at Oxford in England... Maybe I have a better chance to go there. I start my senior year at Temple tomorrow. aaaaaaaaaa how's their mechanical engineering stuff? I mainly want to go there because they have a good music program and their engineering is noteworthy enough for college board.

I'm currently attending a college as I type this. It's my freshmen year so I'm still trying to get used to it.
I'm attending Keene State University in New Hampshire and staying in a triple dorm room by myself since my only room mate left the college. Lucky me right? I'm going to be a Graphic Design major with a minor(hopefully) in Business Management. This post has been edited by Ruki: Aug 31 2009, 10:14 AM |

Undergrad (BA (Hons) in English and CUltural Studies) at Adeliade University, South Australia. MA (Information studies) at the University of South Australia. Just applied for a PhD at the University of the West of England. Some of us never give up... And I went to legal college somewhere in there, too.

I personally think the Engineering Department is pretty good. I don't know much on the side of mechanical, but resources are great in terms of technology and staff. Just last year I ended up getting a scholarship from Turner Construction Co. and would have never even known about it had a staff member not told me to apply. -------------------- |

How much on average does it cost to go to college in the USA?
Here it's free. Well, it might not be for much longer but last time I checked it was. -------------------- |
