Jon had started to make his way with the group into the cave shortly after his Croagunk finished its bag of food. Starting his way in a short way behind the silver haired Kuri and came upon the group as they finished off an Onix, watching as it was captured by the odd looking "Guitar Man."

"Hey buddy, you should get into your ball, I don't want to get split from you in the darkness here." Jon whispered to his side as he pulled the pokeball from his hip. A small jet of red light engulfed the purple mass as it pulled it into its ball.

Something had been nagging him since he made his way in, he had the feeling that something or someone was following him though he never saw any sign of it.

"Maybe it's just in my head." He murmured under his breath.

Norman was startled as the Mankey he had almost tried to catch used his shoulder as a springboard. He was not injured, however, and watched in awe as the Mankey went from his shoulder to landing a powerful punch on the Onix. The man Norman had almost battled then caught the Onix with ease. Norman was glad he had not followed through with the battle. He was obviously outmatched.

Dez wanted out. His poke ball squirmed, and Norman let him out. Quinn was confused. He did not remember Norman having a Geodude...

Norman thought that helping Johnny catch the Onix was a good enough apology. After Jon had made into the cave, it seemed everyone was present. Norman said, "We should explore the cave a little more, then make our way back to the entrance so we can set up camp for the night. How does this plan sound?"

Koryu backed up to allow Norman to continue his battle now that he made it slightly easier. He knew Norman's pokemon were struggling slightly, but he didn't want to interfere in the act of embarassing him by having to step in. And besides, he knew that with both his grass pokemon, it wouldn't be very hard to defeat.
Just then the mankey that norman's totodile hit earlier jumped up and hit the Onix. It was a one-hit KO. Koryu was impressed, but got a little aggrivated when the guitar trainer walked by saying, "And that is how you catch a Pokemon... And you know what they say... you snooze, you lose. I'm sure there will be more rocks in the cave if you'd like to catch em'."
Koryu was frustrated at this, and wanted dearly to OHKO him, but his pidgey could sense the anger and calmed him down. Koryu sighed and accepted the fact he was getting upset over nothing.
Koryu looked around at his pokemon, his bulbasaur sleeping under a tree, his chikorita chasing a butterfree that was flying around, and his pidgey, who now flew off to peck angrily at the ground. "what a strange group," Koryu muttered to himself.
Norman turned to the group, "We should explore the cave a little more, then make our way back to the entrance so we can set up camp for the night. How does this plan sound?"
Koryu liked that idea and started into the cave. He looked to a part of the cave where the onix hit the wall and something was shining in it. He ran to the wall and called his bulbasaur. It woke abruptly and wandered over to Koryu. "Here, use petal dance right here." The bulbasaur used petal dance as it was told and a large stone fell out. It had a crescent shape on it. "It's a moon stone." koryu paused thinking of the mysterious pokemon he might find in there. He grinned and put the moon stone in his bag.

I just chose a random stone. If you don't plan on catching a normal type, then feel free to change it.

Kuri followed along with the rest of the group, Luka still making the occasional complaint about something or another but she had for the moment chosen to ignore him and instead to remain positive. There had to be something in here that she could catch after all, even if her pokémon would be at a disadvantage against most of the things they were likely to find. That wasn't about to deter her though, she was going to catch her first pokémon even if she had to walk around this cave all day.

"Inx!" Luka called out, quickly snapping Kuri from her thoughts as he bounded after something down one to the connecting passages she had walked past.

"Luka, come back!" She called after him as she followed quickly, not wanting him to get lost in the caves by himself. She had no idea how deep the caves went or how dangerous they were so she wanted him to stay with her. It thankfully didn't take long for her to fine her over active pokémon. He was standing in front of a gap in the rock wall with his front lowered in a pouncing position growling at something.

"Luka? What are you doing?" She asked, crouching down to see what it was he was growling at. She was surprised to see a small yellow and black creature hiding in the space, it's red eyes nervously watching the growling electric pokémon. As it noticed Kuri it seemed to look up at her with pleading eyes, holding it's black hands up to it's mouth and shivering.

"Oh will you leave the poor thing alone." Kuri started to scold the Shinx, not wanting her partner to think it was okay to harass wild pokémon on a whim. She'd could only shake her head as she leaned down to pick him up, thinking she'd taught him better than this.

"Shinx!" Luka shouted suddenly, startling Kuri as he dived backwards just in time to avoid the crunch of the large black maw that had shot out of the gap in the rocks at him. Kuri ended up falling back in surprise, watching the yellow and black pokémon emerge from between the rocks with a sinister smile on it's once docile face, it's body turning to face the jaw that was about the size of it's body to her.

"Luka, tackle it!" Kuri shouted as she pulled herself to her feet, her Shinx not wasting any time in diving at the pokémon. She had thought it looked familiar but without seeing the maw she couldn't place it, now she knew just what it was.

Luka charged at the Mawile, leaping at it to try to pin it down only to end up jumping into the steel bulk of it's 'horns' as the deceiver pokémon swung them round to protect itself. The Mawile retaliated by trying to bite Luka with it's maw, the smaller pokémon thankfully avoiding the large mouth and retreating to Kuri's side.

"Steel type..." Kuri muttered as she tried to come up with a way to handle the creature. Her Torchic didn't know any fire moves yet and all their other attacks weren't going to have much effect on the Mawile unless she came up with some sort of plan. She quickly pulled the other pokéball from her belt, throwing it out to release her Torchic, Vale.

"Vale, focus your energy! Luka, use your Leer!" At his trainer's command, Vale started to focus himself, stopping his initial bouncing around when he noticed the Mawile. Luka started to growl at it again this time his eyes glowing dimly as he used his move along with it, making the Mawile shiver as it looked at him. It didn't take long for the Mawile to recover it's momentum though, it moved towards Luka and opened it's maw in a loud growl, shaking Luka's concentration and causing him to flinch.

"Vale attack it now, you too Luka!" Kuri called, hoping the two of them might be able to do enough to tire it out so she could capture it. Vale charged the Mawile first, since Luka still stunned by the astonish attack, the tiny bird's beak scratching at the maw that was shifted into the way again. Thanks to the focus he'd put into the attack though he pushed back with enough force to knock the Mawile off balance, making it's counter attack narrowly miss chomping the bird. Luka took the opportunity to try to hit the deceiver's body while it was distracted, leaping at the Mawile once more. This time he had more luck, knocking the already off balance Mawile back into the rock wall behind it with a fair about of force. The Mawile knocked into the wall and then fell over, though still clearly concious. Kuri took the opportunity to throw a pokéball at it while it tried to get up, hoping it'd be enough.

The ball bounced off the ground in front of the Mawile, who was trying to pull itself to it's feet, before cracking open and sucking the pokémon inside. The ball fell to the ground, starting to rock as it's captive fought for it's freedom. The ball rocked once, then again, before the light on the front faded indicating a successful capture. Kuri just stood stunned for a moment, wondering if she was dreaming that she managed that.

"Tor!" Vale chimed happily despite his brush with a mouth about his size trying to take a bite out of him. He started talking to Luka about something while the Shinx seemed pretty indignant about having to be helped to beat the Mawile. Kuri didn't pay attention to the Luka's complaints though, she moved straight over to pick up the pokéball containing her new pokémon, the first pokémon she had caught and all by herself at that.

Feeling immensely proud of herself she called her two pokémon to follow her as she turned back to find the others, hoping they hadn't wandered too far already.

Jon stood followed sluggishly along with the group, his head darting around as he kept trying to figure out what it was that was or was not following him. A small yelp from the Shinx being carried by Kuri made him look as it ran off into a small path in the wall, the girl followed after it into the dark. The others didn't seem to notice right away though Jon decided to wait for her to return, he would feel horrible if she got lost because no one else decided to wait.

As she slowly shrank into the darkness Jon called out his Turtwig, feeling a presence of something to come. A small flash of color disappeared as he turned around. It only reappeared shortly after a few feet away as it stared at him with large black eyes. It was the Natu from before.

"Double-team..." Jon whispered to his Turtwig who then turned into a small shimmer as he appeared to have cloned himself, "Tackle!"

The Natu suddenly flew forward in a rush as it was hit from behind by the turtwig, Jon had a ball ready as he threw it straight at the pokemon.

Norman saw Kuri run into the cave. He followed her with interest. Suddenly, the Shinx started to growl, as a Mawile had appeared. He watched as Kuri summoned her Torchick and caught the Mawile. Norman was impressed. Mawile was much rarer than Geodude, and Kuri had caught the former with ease. Norman had more trouble catching the latter.

Dez and Quinn had stayed behind. Norman was not able to congratulate Kuri, for he was concerned about his Pokemon. He heard cries of "Geo- Geodude!" and "Treecko! Treecko!" in the darkness. Norman ran back to see why they were calling out.

The reason they had called out was because there was more excitement going on. Jon had just thrown a Poke Ball at a Natu. He watched as the ball stayed intact. Norman now recalled that it was strange that a Natu was in a cave like this. Must have wandered in from the forest, Norman thought.

Norman, returning his focus to the group, called out. He said, "Hooray! We've caught four Pokemon now!" He turned to Suzi and Koryu. Norman asked, "So, are you two planning on catching anything before bedtime?"

I won't mess with Koryu's stone. None of my Pokemon evolve by stone anyway.

Koryu smiled, and stood up. "Of course, but this moon stone promises certain pokemon that I would like to add to my team." Bulbasaur looked up at Koryu with a bored look on his face and began walking into the cave. Pidgey flew in after bulbasaur and Chikorita stopped playing with the butterfree and ran off, leaving the wild pokemon to look lonely. Koryu threw a berry toward the butterfree and followed his bulbasaur, pulling out a small flashlight to help guide him. He would have waited for the rest of the group, but he was getting anxious as to what might be in the cave. Besides, he knew they would be coming at some point.

But as he was pulling his flashlight out, he saw a faint glowing deep in the cave, barely even visible when standing at the entrance. His pokemon seemed to have noticed the faint light too and they all walked toward it.
Because it was so dark Koryu had to hold on to the wall to know where he was going, and using the flashlight might scare whatever pokemon might be down there.
"Bulba?" his bulbasaur whispered, catching all of his pokemon's attention. They saw a little pink pokemon with brown tipped ears walk past, not noticing the three pokemon and trainer.
"Clefairy." Koryu whispered. He smiled, this was the kind of pokemon he was expecting. The pidgey got bored and so Koryu returned it to the pokeball. But the flash of the light caught the little pokemon's attention and it ran into an opening where light was shining through.
Chikorita ran toward the hole, but it was too small for her to fit through. "Chikorita, Vine whip." Chikorita did as it was told and slowly broke away at the rock. It soon fromed a hole large enough for the three to fit through, so they did. On the other side of the wall was a large pile of glowing stones, all with cresent shapes on them. And the clefairy they had seen before was organizing them.
"Bulba!" the bulbasaur yelled. The pokemon jumped in shock and turned around. It looked as if it were about to cry, but then looked angry. It waved it's hands in a swaying motion and suddenly a flurry of coal flew toward Koryu's two grass pokemon.
"ember?" Koryu said in awe. "Ok," Koryu smiled, "If its a battle you want then it's a battle you'll get.

His first action was to heal his pokemon from the super efective attack that just occured.
"Chikorita, Leech seed! Bulbasaur, Ingrain!" Seeds shot out from the Chikorita and plants grew around the pink pokemon. Then roots apeared from bulbasaur's bulb and dug into the ground.
The clefairy swayed its arms again, this time sending electric waves toward Chikorita. But then it cringed slightly as the seeds absorbed health from it.
"Chikorita, Growl! Bulbasaur, petal dance!" The Chikorita growled at the Clefairy cutely, smiling because she enjoyed flounting her cuteness. Bulbasaur glowed as the roots were absorbing energy. It then shot a flurry of light blue (Yes bulbasaur's petals are blue) petals toward the pokemon. Then the Clefairy waved its arms again, but now it was more damaging. A large ball of Fire hurtled toward his two pokemon, making all three of them ready themselves for what was about to happen. The ball hit the two pokemon causing flame to engorge the two pokemon. The clefairy chuckled as his Chikorita fell to the ground. He ran to his pokemon and searched his bag for a potion, but realised he used them all on the wild pokemon he battled earlier. He returned the Chikorita to her pokeball.
He was slightly amazed at how his Bulbasaur was still standing, but remembered how the leech seed and growl weakened the pokemon, and that Bulbasaur had ingrain to restore energy. But both his and the wild pokemon looked very tired.
"Bulbasaur, Grass Whistle!" The Bulbasaur whistled a song, and koryu hummed along, making the moss growing on the rocks grow larger. The move seemed to have worked as the pokemon was now asleep on its pile of stones. Koryu reached into his bag and pulled out a pokeball. He threw it at the tired pokemon and a red flash pulled it in.
One...
Two...
Three...

Koryu smiled and ran to his Bulbasaur, who was just as excited as he was.
"My first pokemon on my new journey. How about that, Kakyoku?"
His Bulbasaur looked up at him with a large smile and shining eyes.

Norman watched as Koryu abandoned the Butterfree for another Pokemon. Norman did not know what it was, for it was much deeper into the cave. The Butterfree was now alone, looking slightly relieved.

Norman looked at the Butterfree and smiled. He was ready for it. He took back King to protect him from any flying attacks, and brought out Burner the Charmander. "Burner! Ember!" commanded Norman. The flame went right to the Butterfly Pokemon, dealing a great amount of damage. Norman told Dez to use Rock Tomb. The Geodude also cooperated. Norman was finally getting control over his Pokemon!

The Butterfree was about to faint from the two super effective attacks. It tried to escape, but Burner followed it. He used Ember again, and the Butterfree fluttered to the ground. Norman left it alone, allowing for someone else to catch the unconscious Pokemon. He felt a little sorry for the Butterfree, but he was pleased with his progress as a trainer.

Norman yawned, and wandered outside the cave. It was almost as dark outside the cave as it was inside. He pulled a fold-up tent from his knapsack, and set it up. He called into the cave, "I am going to sleep now. Good night." Norman stretched out, put his arms around his Geodude and Charmander, and went to sleep.

This Roleplay seems a bit empty so I'll post again...

Koryu chuckled slightly as his Kakyoku ran around in circles, basking in the magnificent glow of the stones. He was enthralled. Koryu couldn't stop smiling. He finally grabbed the little green plant and told it, "We need to get potions for Chikorita. We need to run into town." He put the bulbasaur down and it nodded.
They squeezed back through the opening and walked through the cave. The bulbasaur was busy singing, "bulba, bul-bulbasaauuur! bulba bulba..." Koryu was busy looking at the cave around him. It was very significant to him how the moon stones shined so brightly through the cave walls. There were also old pictures on the walls. He figured they were from the natives who lived here long ago.... or from some children venturing into nature.

Koryu finally exited the cave and realised how late it actually was. The sun cast a dark purple light on the horizon and the moon was glowing brightly. A flock of what seemed to be butterfree flew over head. Saisho's pokeball began to shake, so Koryu pressed the button to allow it to get out. Koryu glared at it, still a little upset at how it laughed at defeating his Chikorita, but figured he should accept it. Besides it was his pokemon now.

The little fairy pokemon started climbing up a tree and stared at the moon. It began chanting. It waved its arms again and spun around. Koryu enjoyed watching the performance but then got a little tired of it and walked off. The Clefairy soon noticed it was alone and jumped in fear of the dark. It climbed back down the tree and ran toward Koryu. She started pulling on his pant leg and he picked her up, "Not so fond of the dark, are you?" He smiled.
He walked back toward the group and noticed most of the people already went to sleep. He went to the person who was still awake and whispered to them, "I need a revive, so I'm going back to town real quick." He walked away quickly before they could respond saying that they had a revive he could use.

It wasn't that he really needed a revive, he mostly just wanted to go back to the shore at the port at night. He loved the beach and figured it would be beautiful at night. Besides, the port wasn't far away. He could return when he was done within an hour. He even wondered why the group just didn't go back to sleep at an inn.

He looked back up to the moon.
"High is the moon tonight."
Flowers nearby began to blossom. Still carrying Saisho, he walked on, enjoying the environment around him.
"High is the guiding light, high"
Now day-lillies began to bloom and flowers of nearby dogwood trees would bloom and fall into the wind to get carried into the air. Kakyoku began to stare in awe at the light-pink blossoms. He bagan to hum along.
"Heaven and earth do sleep, still in the dark so deep"
Koryu noticed lights in the distance and set his Clefairy down. Grass seemed to get fuller.
"I will the darkness sweep."
Ledian's lights were visible as they started glowing their bright red backs. Clefairy took great interest in these, but didn't get so caught up in them.
"I will the moon to flight, I will the heavens bright, I will the earth delight."
The grass was glowing green with the moons bright reflection. The shining dew emphasized the beauty of it.
"Open your eyes with me, see paradise with me."
The port was now visible and the ocean was glistening. Its rolling waves crashed upon the shore and dewgong would swim and jump out of the water in perfect unison, creating a magical water-works hat Koryu had trouble looking away from. Other trainers would be riding on their pokemon in the ocean for a late night swim, which just seemed to emphsize the serenity of the port. He looked around and saw a group of trainers with their pokemon sitting around a fire. There were some smaller pokemon sleeping in their trainers laps while most of the larger ones were still awake, listening to the stories that other trainers would tell. He looked up at the moon again and saw the stars, the beauty in them and how, even if there was no moon, they would still light up the sky.
He then noticed his Clefairy standing on the end of the dock where the boats let off their trainers waving and twirling again. He sighed and walked towards the pokecenter.

A Nurse Joy was inside with her iconic Chansey and greeted them. He smiled and handed her the pokemball with Chikorita inside. He figured He should heal all of his pokemon seeing as how it was his pokemon might need healing anyway. He left the Pokecenter and went next door to the pokemart. He went in and bought a few potions and 3 revives, which came to a total of about $2000. He was shocked at how expensive it was, but didn't really mind it much. He put the products in his bag and went back to the pokecenter. The Nurse joy smiled and handed him back his pokemon. He thanked her and tipped her $1000. He always wondered how pokemon centers got the money for the equipment, so he figured he should tip her.

He went back outside and took another look at the scene. He bagan walking back toward the group in the forest. When he got back he realised he made a bad mistake, he forgot a sleeping bag. He shrugged and reached into his bag and pulled out a large blanket. He laid it on the ground, rolled up in it and fell asleep.

Kuri made her way back the way she had come after catching the Mawile, thankful that the way was quite obvious as she hadn't been paying the greatest amount of attention to where she was running while she was chasing Luka. Her two pokémon followed along after her, Vale bouncing around and chirping happily at getting to battle. She'd have to think of a name for the Mawile and be sure to make it feel comfortable with being with her. She'd never given much thought to how a pokémon felt about being suddenly torn away from all it knew like that but Luka and Vale seemed happy enough so with any luck the Mawile would settle as well. If worst came to worst she could get some tips from her brother, he'd had more than enough pokémon for Kuri to be sure that he'd be able to offer her some advice.

She stopped as she made it back to where she had left the others since Jon was standing there. It seemed that he had waited for her or at least not gone very far.

"Oh, erm... Luka found a Mawile, which I caught." She started to explain in case he was wondering what she had run off for. "Sorry for running off." She added quickly, hoping no one felt that she was holding them up. Sure Jon looked younger than her and it wasn't like she'd done more than chase her wayward pokémon but she was still weary of making sure she didn't cause trouble for anyone else.

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of the country for two weeks and didn't get the time I was hoping for to post.

Pefect timing too!

After a few minutes of waiting Jon had released his Natu and let it take rest upon his shoulder. Its talon's dug slightly into the clothes but didn't hurt too badly. The young Kuri appeared from the small side path, her pokemon following her happily as they returned. She noticed Jon and suddenly tried to explain herself.

"Oh, erm... Luka found a Mawile, which I caught. Sorry for running off."

"It's no problem, a few of the others have gone out to the mouth of the cave and set up camp," Jon started to head towards the faint glow of the sunset, "I would feel horrible if I left you alone in here, Lets go out to the camp"

He turned on his heel, Natu grasping tightly as to not fall off as it fluttered it's wings, and started his way towards the mouth of the cave.

The next morning...

Norman stretched out and yawned. His Pokemon had immediately become restless when the morning sun rose. They jumped around, chanting, and trying to get Norman awake as quickly as possible. Norman told them to settle down, and returned them to their Poke Balls. Norman walked outside the tent to get a big breath of fresh air.

After taking a few large breaths, Norman strolled deeper into the woods. He wondered if something else could be deeper in. For safety, paranoid that a Pokemon were to come out and attack, he let Burner out of his Poke Ball. Norman called out, "Time to wake up, everybody! The next stage of our journey is about to begin!"

The sun slowly crept through the trees, shining directly in Koryu's face. He slowly opened up one eye and looked around, with his expression hating the world and how every stupid morning it tried to annoy him to the point where he wished he was comatose. He closed his eyes, but knowing he'll have to get up at some point, he sat up. He wiped the drool from his mouth, disdaining the morning taste and the earthen air. He was definetly not a morning person.

Norman stood above everyone and yelled, "Time to wake up, everybody! The next stage of our journey is about to begin!" Koryu wondered how someone could wake up like that, Norman probably doesn't normally wake up at 11 AM like Koryu was.
His pokeballs were rocking in his bag. He reached in and released all of his pokemon. His Pidgey, now wide-awake, walked around looking for little bits of food to eat. His Chikorita ran around the campsite growling everywhere, chasing anything that moved. Kakyoku walked towards Koryu lazily, crawled under his covers and fell asleep. And his new Clefairy seemed confused as to where she was. Koryu got up and grabbed a small rag from his bag. He went to a nearby spring, dunked his head underwater, pulled it out, and dried off. Just then the grass seemed happy and the sun was smiling. Koryu walked back to his blanket with a smile.

He wrapped it up energetically, causing Kyo to roll out of it. Kyo just walked in some shade and went back to sleep. He packed his bag and got up, waiting for everyone else to "rise and shine". He thought of the other pokemon he mighht see today.

[Looker]

Jon had been awake for a short time before anyone else stirred. As the Moon started to sink and the sun slowly peeked over the horizon Jon had been able to see bits and pieces of it through the thick trees. He was always an early bird, usually waking up early to work or just generally be alive. His other pokemon how ever where not the same and he never decided to let them out so early. The little Natu never slept, Jon never studied Natu's nor had he ever seen one so this new behavior was intriguing.

As he had climbed a tree and sat himself down on a branch he felt a small poke on his shoulder, The Natu had jumped onto his shoulder and started to stare out into the forest. Its large eyes silently staring almost through time itself. It was distrubed by the sounds of life below as slowly people started to wake up. Norman seemed to be the first one to wake up as he started to gather his pokemon up as they ran around restlessly.

"Wake up everybody!" was all Jon cared to listen too of Normans wake up call shortly after the young man Kyoryu had woken up, his pokemon responding similar to Normans.

"This is why I never let them stay out of their balls too long, Though I doubt they would act this way." Jon thought to himself, Natu was now in his arms trying to hide from the sounds. It reminded Jon suddenly as he placed the green bird back on his shoulder.

"Come on out!" He said as he pulled a pokeball from his hip, the flash of light showing a small Nidoran appaer on the branch next to him. Jon quickly scooped it up and held it in his arms.

"You haven't seen where we are yet huh," Jon lifted the little purple-pink pokemon out towards the forest, "We are in a forest!"

The male Nidoran was a gift from his parents upon deciding to go out on a journey, it was still in its egg when he got it and hatched shortly after receving it. It was practicly Jon's baby and was more of a friend then a fighting pokemon.

Jon held it tight as he started to shift his weight, quickly dropping from the tree with a small thump, the baby pokemon in his arms and the Natu slowly fluttering it way after them as it stopped on its perch again.

"Time to meet with the others..." He told the two as he started the walk back to camp.

Koryu fantasized about fire pokemon. He might be able to find one soon, but a water pokemon would be reaaly good too, seeing as how it would be easier to catch a fire type with a water type.

Koryu noticed Chikorita growling at everybody that was sleeping and ran to get her before she rudely woke anyone up. As he was walking toward her, she was distracted with another figure coming down towards them. She went and growled at the man and lightly tackled him. She ran back smiling, having not used up all of her energy yet. Koryu could only frown and blush with embarassment. He went over to apologize and saw that it was Jon, who seemed to have woken up just a bit earlier.
"I'm sorry."

He lent out a hand to help him up and glanced toward a green sphere-haped pokemon on his shoulder. He looked at it for a while as they seemed to be having a staring contest. Koryu finally jumped down on the ground and got very excited. He started lifting its wings, looking at its beak.
"Oh my gosh Jon! This is an amazing pokemon! And it's in great health! I can't believe you found such a great pokemon! Where'd you get it?! I need to find one! This is amazing!"
His Chikorita noticed the large amount of energy eminating from Koryu and started running. It built up a very fast speed and tackled Koryu so hard he went flying. The Chikorita smiled, "Chika!" Koryu walked back and held out a hand for Jon. He glared at the grass pokemon and turned toward jon and smiled, "I'm sorry."

Norman saw Jon had a Natu on his shoulder. Koryu's curious Pokemon tackled Jon because of it. Norman laughed. It seemed Jon was good with Pokemon. Maybe he could get a few pointers from him...

He scanned the group, looking for missing people. He did not see everyone. He sighed, "Oh well. I guess they got lost in the woods, or worse, the cave. That's too bad. There's still enough people to go deeper into the woods. Come on, everybody!"

Norman ran through the woods. The air felt so good to his lungs. Being nerdy, he didn't run around outside too much, and felt good when he had the chance. He flung his arms out wide, brushing the trees on either side. It was rare that Norman felt so free. He opened his eyes, to see the woods was ending. Up ahead was a cliff!

Norman tried stopping, with limited success. He stopped himself, but tripped and rolled over a few times in the process. He was safe, but it had given him a good scare. He wasn't eager to wash his clothes when he got home.

Burner caught up to him, tired from running. Norman returned him to his Poke Ball. He looked out across the cliff. It led to a drop down into the ocean. Rocky Woods was really just a small patch of trees between the port and the far side of Fidona. Norman must have been on a part of the island where it was slim.

He looked to see if there were any Pokemon. He had come here to catch two Pokemon, and by golly he would catch two Pokemon. Wingulls were all around, screeching for food. Norman held up a Rawst Berry. A Wingull came up to him. As it came down and ate the berry, Norman threw an Ultra Ball. The surprise catch was successful!

Norman smiled at his small victory. However, he was now going to have to explain himself when the others caught up. They would be disappointed, but may at least be happy for Norman when they see the Wingull on his shoulder. He silently prepared to tell the others Rocky Woods was not as big as it seemed.

[Looker]

Jon felt a rough hit to his torso as he started to walk back towards the group suddenly feeling his body hit the dirt. A Little green Chikorita was staring at him as it quickly turned around to make it's way to the trainer it came from. Jon wasn't surprised to see that it was one of his own group's as he saw the boy named Koryu appear from the shadows.

Before even getting a moan out the boy rushed to Jon and started to look all over Natu. Jon had a feeling that the little guy was nervious but the damage was done. Seconds later the boy was flung away by his own Chikorita. In the confusion Natu had leaped into the air and firmly planted itself in the tree above.

"Damn it..." Jon wispered under his breath, Koryu returning to him as he offered his hand and helping Jon stand up. Once again someone ran into the two, this time it was Norman. He had made the call to just ditch everyone else and get moving. Jon wasn't happy about it but they were near a major trail and it would be well enough.

Just as fast as he had come he was already gone, off into the woods. Jon pulled his pokeball from his hip and pulled Natu back into it.

"You can relax in here buddy."

And with that Jon took off after Norman though stopped when Norman held an ultra ball in his hand.

"Another one... already?"

It wasn't long before Norman came running towards them at a speedy pace anticipating what may or may not happen today. Koryu looked back at him with the same energy. Norman started to speak, "Oh well. I guess they got lost in the woods, or worse, the cave. That's too bad. There's still enough people to go deeper into the woods. Come on, everybody!" Koryu felt bad about leaving the others there, so he left a note saying that they'd moved on ahead.

Koryu ran behind Norman. He nearly broke out into laughter when he fell. They soon reached a cliff that overlooked the ocean. Koryu beamed at the site of seeing th ocean again. He now had the chance to catch a water pokemon, something he needed dearly. And then he saw it. A beautiful baby seel. Koryu grinned harmoniously. "Haha! Just the perfect pokemon!" Chikorita rejoiced with him and his bulbasaur looked down the cliif, nodded, then walked off.
He was looking for a way down to the ocean and found a small trail leading down.He walked on, being careful as not to startle the baby. When he got to the bottom the Seel had already noticed him, jumping up energetically anticipating his arrival. It jokingly shot water gun at him as if he was going to play. "Not quite," he thought to himself.

He held out a berry for the Seel. He had to lure it towards him to immobilize it. But instead of attacking it, Chikorita simply jumped on its back and the seel took it for a ride. Koryu was deciding wether to be laughing or cursing right now. He chuckled and threw a pokeball at the Seel, accidently causing Chikorita to fall into the water.

Three...
*Ping

Koryu smiled. He was happy, "A new friend to share your energy with, Chiki."
The Chikorita didn't realize until after a while what he meant. When she did, she ran back up the trail and tackled a large boulder to peices with the enrgy she had and aimed for Norman next. Koryu flew up the trail and jumped right in betwen Norman and the oncoming Chikorita. The impact was tremendous. It took every last ounce of strength for Koryu to even mutter, "We need to work on that energy."

Also, i figured it would be strange how i managed to feed a pokemon a berry and catch it. If that bothers you, to the point where it's annoying, please tell me and I'll fix it.

Knil, My natu flew away from you and then I returned it to my ball from its perch. Unless your as tall as a tree I doubt your berry will make it. I would prefer you took that part out.

Natu are very cautious pokemon so if you started to feel it like that it most likely would have pecked you and ran like it kinda did here.

Jon watched silently as Koryu made his way down to the water below. Holding a berry from his hand he simply fed it to the Seel and quickly threw a ball. Jon started to think about the sheer amount of luck he had, usually catching a pokemon required some form of fighting.

At the same time Jon started to relax, he didn't need another pokemon right now and knew that if he caught more right away others would suffer. This was a calming thought to him, just thinking like this while overlooking a ocean was a sight he rarely saw. In the distance he could make out Goldeen jumping out of the water as they played. Even the sight of a small group of Lapras could be seen across the horizon. Their blue bodies barely sticking out agaisnt the soft blue sky that had just started to change colors from the soft orange glow of dawn to the now blue sky of the oncoming day.

"So... Where to next?"

Kuri had woken up about the same time as the others, at least early enough to see where they were headed. Even so she took a little extra time getting her things packed up and away, it wasn't like they were a hard group to miss out here anyway. Once she had everything back where it needed to be and was extra sure she had everything she started after the others with Luka following beside her happily.

Even with the sleep she was still feeling tired, all the running around they'd been doing was starting to take it's toll on her. She doubted she'd be doing much more than walking today, not wanting to have to deal with the questions that would no doubt be asked if she started having trouble with things. If nothing else she would still be getting used to being around other trainers, and more importantly other people. Even so she hoped her brother would end up meeting up with her sooner rather than later.

After a little walking she managed to spot the others, apparently in the middle of making some more catches. She smiled some, content with her own catch from the other day and not feeling like she really needed to catch any more pokémon just yet. She idly fiddled with the pokéball on her belt which stored her mawile, still wondering how it was going to respond to being captured like that. She'd find out when the pace had slowed some in case there was any trouble.

Kuri made her way over but didn't say anything, content with just being there for the minute. Besides it seemed like everyone was quite preoccupied anyway, or she'd tell herself that at least.
