Name: Jack Siedel
Age: 15
Hometown: Lenoilia

Appearance: Jack has a naturally dark-tan skin color, and naturally-spiky
hair an odd shade of midnight blue, the tips delicately tipped in a
natural red hue. He stands over most kids his age at 5’ 11”.
He has almond-shaped eyes, the color of the sky, just a few shades lighter
than his night shaded hair. He has a thin build, and wears his clothing
baggy. As for the clothes he wears, the normal for him is a pair of
swimming trunks-varying in their tropical design-and a tan vest (open or
closed depending on the weather.) He also wears a necklace with a fire
emblem on it.
He also carries a small, worn-out backpack.

Personality: Jack is usually a very happy person, with his mood ever
ranging from content to over-abundance on cheerfulness. He is the type of
person who finds joy in just about anything, whether it be finding a penny
on the ground, or simply lying in the grass and stargazing. But this
happiness is not without its cost, and Jack’s is an unfortunate one.
Y’see, Jack is stupid, to put it simple. He can speak and read
well-enough, but only understands the basics of the monetary system when
it comes to mathematics. He cannot tell time, he doesn’t understand
anything further than addition and subtraction-as multiplication severely
confuses him- and even that he has trouble with.

Biography: Jack never knew his parents, and he and his elder brother lived
in a small shack near the beach off of Lenoilia for the longest time.
However, one day when he was about 12 years old, his brother vanished into
a strange mist that consumed the town for days. He makes friends easily
with Pokemon, and has even upon occasion been able to attune himself so
well to their voices that he was able to understand and speak the language
himself.
He is and has always been-in all definitions of the term-dirt poor. He
grew so accustomed to coastal life that swimming, along with his skin
color, has become completely natural to him.
As pollution spread to the city of Lenoila, and the evacuations forced
him to leave, he made his way onto the streets and roads, and simply
wandered, roaming aimlessly around and finding the various items he now
carries by sheer coincidence. However, just shortly after turning 14 he
met a trainer who had accidently taken the road to Lenoilia, while
meaning to get to Arasam.
He kindly gave the trainer directions, but not without hearing having the
trainer’s story plugged into his ear, along with an explanation of the
entire process and journey surrounding being a trainer!
It was shortly after that he realized what he wanted to do with his life—a
pokemon master. That would be his new life. That was what he would be.
He spoke to his cheerful traveling companion, a young Shinx whom he had
fondly dubbed ‘Shadow’ in accustom with its abnormally dark fur. It
merrily agreed to the idea, and helped him seek out a pokeball in the
brush, whether lost or misplaced, he finally found one, and Shadow eagerly
entered it.
Despite Shadow being completely alright with the thought of staying in a
pokeball, he keeps her out and she travels on his shoulder as he makes his
way down the road to becoming a pokemon master.
