It actually isn't anything overly exciting, really. I've completely redone how Pokemon IDs are generated, since the old method we'd been using was getting rather tacky-looking. The new ones will all be 5 letters-long, as opposed to the constantly-increasing length that the old ones had.
You'll need to update the images you've posted anywhere, as the old URLs won't work anymore. Also, the icon images need to be updated still, I'll be doing those overnight. -------------------- |

Nope, I just have a few miscellaneous things to take care of, and then everything will be good to go.

Cool. So we will now have shorter url codes for image. This is awesome for a forum I go to that has character limits.

Roger that.
Though I'm not one that really posts on other forums that limit character length in sigs (<.< or rather, I never get close to that limit anyway, since I'm pretty lazy about stuff like that), so I guess it's more of an "oh, ok" reaction. -------------------- |

Neat Now I won't have to worry so much about code length on other sites ._. I know, same here. It was getting tedious trying to work with the longer urls. Also glad that the site won't be down the whole night. Also like the change with the online page that automatically opens up the eggs and the pokes. The way the old ID were generated sounds kind of dangerous.
heh, even though you say it's not so exciting, I still rather appreciate the maintenance, who knows how these sort of things might have affected this in the long run? you never know. That's really neat how the urls will be shorter, too. >D -------------------- |

Good idea. I agree with the old codes looking tacky and being too long.

Err. It's not that huge of a character difference. If you're concerned about URL lengths, you should still just Tiny URL it. o_o
Still, very cool. |
