I'm having a huge issue with the way the shelter does the highlighting over eggs now compared to a couple days ago.
Before the egg would be surrounded by a black circle and now the other eggs all fade and grey out, which I know for me is not easy on the eyes at all. It's a wonderful little idea and all, it's just it might hurt other peoples' eyes as well. -------------------- |

^ Same here. The fading thing is okay, but the way the eggs go black and white for a second really hurts my eyes.

For me, its the fuzziness. The monochrome I can deal with (maybe) but its difficult to tell with the fuzziness making me nauseous. I do have sensitive eyesight (Eg, I struggle to read black text on white paper) so the fuzziness is killing my head a little X.x

To be honest it really hurts my eyes too. ;__; I don't want to complain, the idea itself isn't bad (and I know that people complained about the circle around eggs too), but oh well ... it's especially because the eggs don't only go black and white but also have this fuzzy blurry look.

Ouch. I have very sensitive eyes and the fuzziness just kills me. I wasn't too fond of the eggs fading out like they did before, but I got used to it, but this? This really hurts my eyes. Literally.
(But black and white seems better than fading out to me.) -------------------- |

Dang I didn't think that anyone else was going to comment on this and I was just going to look like a total jerkface being all bawwy about something I have no real control over. I'm overly impressed.
Anyways, after waking up and looking at it again it's not as bad as I remember it being, but maybe the issue could be solved by just having either a select a function in the settings page or just having the blue glow from the 2nd shelter 3.0 incarnation plus on top of the way the shelter was up until now. atm the only change I see is the fuzziness of the Party in the background while having a tab from the right side open. I'll survive it, but it's pretty horrible in my opinion. Is the change in the shelter similar? That would be quite a pain for the eyes...
e: Ok, I saw how it looks. I'm happy that I don't use Chrome. This post has been edited by Vesus Levide: Oct 3 2012, 06:27 AM |

I see what you mean, I didn't even consider looking to see what it looked like in other browsers. What it does in Mozilla Nightly is perfect, although I do like the glow rather than a straight up circle around the egg you're hovered over. But what it does there is it makes the other eggs seethrough but they keep their colour. -------------------- |

Suddenly my journal, my pal pad, egg details, the back ground in the lab, the shop, the battle tower and more, it seems like almost everything is fuzzy, I almost can't read the text anymore. Anyone else having this problem? Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
Party and eggs in lab etc are still fine. Example: Spoiler (click to show )

What browser are you using Venus? I'm on chrome and I'm not having any issues.

Unfortunately I'm stuck to IE here. I have to try it at home again, I'm using FF there. We'll see.
But I hope that it won't remain like that. e: Now it's back to normal. Great! This post has been edited by Vesus Levide: Oct 3 2012, 08:43 AM |

I don't know, but as it is (on Chrome) right now I'm loving the change to the Shelter. Vastly better than it was before.

Thank you so much for changing it! It looks much better now, without the fuzzyness. =)

I'm not really liking the change to the shelter. I'm finding it pretty disorienting. Maybe it could be optional?

I kinda like the new shelter effect. Too bad I can only see it in Chrome, though. *Pokes Firefox, urging it to update*
