The new section of the Shop is finally here! It is for http://gpxplus.net/shop#powers. You purchase these using http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=55569.
Pass Powers grant you a special power on the site (whatever it says it does). You can only have one activated at a time, and they normally stay activated for X amount of minutes (upwards to an hour as of now). Some may apply their ability instantly and not have a timer initiated, while others may be deactivated as soon as you do an action it is tied to (Summon Power, for instance, has a timer of 15 minutes; this merely means that you have 15 minutes to go to the lab and summon something. Once you summon something, it deactivates itself).
The amount of time remaining for the currently activated power will be displayed in the notification bar, so you'll always have that to monitor. If you don't want to wait the rest of the time for it, you can opt to pay 2 Pass Orbs to deactivate the power (from the top of that shop section).
Some of the powers are tiered, meaning there's stronger versions of the power which cost more but also give either more activation time or are more effective than the previous tier. Also, some of them are limited to X amount a day.
You will not be able to activate a power if its ability would do nothing for you currently. Example: if you do not currently have a Novelty in the Daycare paired with something it can actually breed with (they must also have been in there together for at least an hour), then you would not be able to purchase the Novel Power. If you do not have any summoning items, then you cannot purchase the Summon Power. Most of them have their own obvious restrictions.
Of course, more Pass Powers will be added in the future. For now, we hope you enjoy what is currently available!
Update #1: As with the last update (introducing Pass Orbs), what's a big update without some new stats? 2 new stats have been added to a user's Daily stats (Pass Orbs Spent Today, Pass Powers Activated Today) as well as to the Daily Stats section on the main site stats page (with their respective "most ... in a day" ones).
2 new stats have been added on the right side of a user's stats, under the "Pass Orb & Power Totals", along with the Pass Orbs Earned stat (I've moved it down here). They are for total Pass Orbs Earned and Pass Powers Activated, of course. These two have also been added to the "Users (misc)" section on the main site stats page.

Ohh, awesome! I'd had a feeling/hoped i would be something like this! I don't know if I'll really have too much use for it as it is now, but it's pretty cool.
Actually, I was kinda hoping there'd be something that'd make it easier to get certain genders as well. Maybe we can do that in the future? That'd be pretty sweet. (although in my case, i'd have to use it every day because a lot of my gender specifics are for shiny hunts..which is when it can be REALLY hard. Haha, I'd definitely need to stock up on pass orbs.)
edit: ... unless there IS one that does that already and it's just not in stock right now. That'd be pretty much the bee's knees.

Edit: Oooh. Hunt power sounds amazing. I'd kill for a chance at a lab Eevee, even if it wasn't shiny...
And Novel Power will be useful, I think. I need to get a Zombidofo and I've had no luck since my first Bidofo egg.

Sorry about that. I had to fix something real quick. Because of which, all the current usage stats were reset. No one that bought anything lost any pass orbs, though, except for those that bought Spelunk (and that one actually worked right away).
But it's fixed now.

Zerx, I think something is up with the summon thing. I've seen three legends so far in the lab that say they don't exist, rather than giving the already claimed message. Just a heads up, figure it's something with the coding that masks summons from other users.

You purchased it before I took the shop down to fix some things. Any power that had a Duration did not work correctly, but also no pass orbs were deducted for them, since that also broke from it.
Go ahead and repurchase it and it should work.

They will breed it will just take longer.
I'm loving the novel power. I'm going to use it as soon as the competition is over. My past misdreavous and misdreavous have only been breeding misdreavous lately so hopefully when I use the novel power I'll actually get a past misdreavous egg for once.

That's weird. I'm not sure what the exact issue is but I believe I've now updated it to always make sure your pair breeds if you have the power activated. Sorry for the duds.

....I thought it would be something cooler. :C To be honest, I was expecting summoning items; same price as they are in the backroom, but in pass orbs instead.
The time for the egg hatching one is rather... short. O.o Maybe there should be a tier 2 and 3 for that one? Even so, clicking 800 people back, just for 15 minutes of elevated egg maturity is a little rough.

I found the issue with this now! It had to do with Ditto x Novelty, due to something I fixed with the daycare task the other night. Fixing one problem made another one become apparent. It has now been resolved.

Problem with the Novelty ability is that now there will be a lot less common pokemon with a novelty pair (ex: bidoof, slugma, remoraid), which makes Creationist achievement a whole lot harder, which I had plans to try out on this weekend. So to sum it up, I'm both mad and happy with the new addition to the shop.

Huh? Novel Power only ensures one egg in the batch will be a Novelty, only works for one egg drop (per activation), and can only be activated twice a day. That ruins nothing.

And what does the 25 min duration of novel power mean? You have to use it 25 min before the breeding time?

Ooooh, I can see that. "Use 5 pass powers in one day" or something to that effect. New achievements are always fun anyway.
Though I'm a bit surprised at how limited the shop is. I could see a few other selections that could have been thrown in, although I guess they don't want the list of powers getting too large.

The duration of the novel power is always until the next xx:13. It expires after the next daycare session.
The point of canceling is if you're tired of having it activated, for some reason. It's just there in case.

So, does the defog power apply to the pokemon you click, or your pokemon?
As a random berry clicker, I don't click proper berries, so fog doesn't bug me because of that. Fog bugs me when I have an exploration pokemon, that other people have to click.

Summoning power will come in handy. Some days my summons don't show up after the 5 minutes, so I'll likely be buying one every time I summon. XD

They'll be a new icon on your notification bar that will count down how long you have left and disappear once it's ran out.

Yea, most of these powers seem useful.
I was hoping that there'd be one for making your daycare couple breed more eggs: I got the other master achievements long ago, but am not even halfway to the master breeder yet.
Power for bypassing the requirements for weather evolutions would've been good too, I still haven't ever seen hail or sandstorm here and I need both for evolving some pokes. Ah well, can't get everything.

Once my party is cleared I'm gonna try getting a full party of zangoose and hatching them at once with hatch power, and then abuse hatch power on multiplier days because of the zangoose overflows.

Considering Hatch Power enhances/stacks with Lucky Egg, I'm guessing it wouldn't be untoward to suggest another Power that mimics an item--specifically, one that overrides the "too young to hatch" effect. It doesn't bother me personally because I am a pokey slow thing, but I know there were complaints about a bottleneck effect on one of the last multiplier days because all of the Porygon eggs were maturing too fast and Flame Orbs were in short supply.
Wheeeeee stuff. Stuff stuff. I think maybe I'll try for a Blue Stone again.

Doubt it'll happen, but wouldn't mind seeing maturity gains for Pokemon. Might make things too easy & crazy, especially on multiplier days though so not holding my breath. Curious to see what's next though.
Might not use all of them now, but probably will sooner or later.

Defog power isn't working. It says (Fog lifted with the Defog Power) but the buttons still say (unknown). The berries are where there sposed to be though they just dont say there names

I'm a fan of summon power, but the times when the icon on the notification bar appears and disappears can be very unsettling. I understand the icon appearing for "15 minutes to summon something," but then it just completely disappears after the summoning item is used, leaving me wondering if I have or have not received the ten minutes the power should grant me. It's very much like suddenly being in the dark, especially if the egg doesn't show up after ten refreshes... or twenty...
Leaving the icon on the notification bar and having it count down from ten minutes after the summoning item is used would be REALLY helpful and a lot more comforting than seeing the power's icon just poof, disappear...

Can you make pass powers for pokemon in the future, please? It's ok if you don't, but I think that would be helpful. Pokemon are harder to raise than eggs. Even if you don't, I can handle raising pokemon the regular way. It's just a suggestion. :) Thanks for reading this (if you read this).

Aww, I love this whole Pass Orbs and Pass Powers idea <3. I already spent nice number of Pass orbs, also earned about 450 - with today. My favourite are: Spelunk Power - I've become an underground maniac by this 
and Summon Power. But when I used it yesterday I only refreshed page twice and got my Legendary egg, but it's really helpful with Engima Stone

Edit: ...it doesn't look like it... my "Pass Orbs earned today" is 0.45 right now, which matches the sum of the "Int. To" column of the "Users who have interacted with my Pokemon today" list (not counting myself and Professor Cypress, of course).

Are there any plans to make Pass Powers available for the mobile site?
I find it much faster and easier to click Pokémon on my mother's iPhone, but all of that screams to a halt when it's Foggy out.
I've bought the Fog-lifting power, and it works just fine on a laptop -- but on the mobile version it doesn't work. :/

I know this thread is about the powers, but the one for the orbs is locked, so do you mind if I ask this question here, because it has been bugging me. On the Orbs thread, it says 100 pokemon clicks will get you 1 Pass Orb. I've clicked 600 so far and am currently at 0.29 for the whole day. Thats all I've gotten. Just wondering if the number of pokemon had changed or something. Thanks ^^ The Pass Powers were a really great idea, by the way
