I was training for the Elite 4 and a Shiny Teddiursa came out of nowhere.
I had like, 6 normal Pokeballs and my Master Ball. Fortunately I didn't have to use the Master Ball - because I caught it with my last Pokeball. I've never run around with less than 50 or something Pokeballs after that. -------------------- |

I had caught a Geodude to help with Falkner, and I was training in the Alph Ruins, so I talked to it, and it said "GEODUDE quickly turned around!" So I was like "Ok," and the poster on my wall behind me fell down. And this other time I found humorous, my Bayleef and I were in the underground area of Goldenrod City , and I talked to her, and Bayleef made a forward motion to the person next to her, and it said "BAYLEEF started poking at some garbage..." This didn't happen on the game, but I fell asleep after I played my HG game, and I had a dream that the gym leader Bugsy had shiny level 100 Pokemon on his team. And all I had was a wretched Dunsparce with one move, splash. This post has been edited by quomimi: Jul 16 2012, 09:23 PM |

I was in the Safari Zone when I found a shiny Wobbuffet. It ran away after I threw it the first safari ball. >>
After that, I have never come back to the Safari Zone. -------------------- Why would I want to have a signature? I don't need it. |

I couldn't jump around and celebrate without my mom probably looking at me like I'm crazy, but I had the biggest look on my face for a little while afterwards. xD First shiny I ever got (besides the red Gyarados) in my SS game, finally! Edit: Forget the above, new craziest experience (in SS btw, since I don't have D/P/Pt/HG); might as well edit this post rather than making a whole new one. So there I was, grinding at the foot of Mt. Silver in the patch of grass to the right of the Poké-center. Three days after getting a shiny Ursaring (got that on the 10th, the same day as my best friend's birthday, but that's a different story), I got a shiny female Ponyta! Caught it with the first Great Ball I threw at it, decided to name it TwiSparkle after the MLP:FiM character, and started debating on whether or not I wanted to evolve her into a Rapidash since I like Rapidash's stats, but like Ponyta's shiny form a lot more. I decided I'd sacrifice the pretty blue for the stats and went back to the same patch of grass on Mt. Silver I caught TwiSparkle to start grinding up my Nidoking some more and try to get my newest shiny some experience. A small handful of Poké's later and BAM! Second shiny Ponyta! Same gender, different ability (Flash Fire in the second shiny vs. TwiSparkle's Run Away). Never go two wild random shinies within maybe an hour of each other in any Pokémon game I've played before, probably never going to do it ever again knowing my luck. xD This post has been edited by Zombie Zekrom: Sep 14 2012, 12:34 AM -------------------- Various Things (click to show ) |

The last time I played Soul Silver was a couple of weeks ago. After picking up from where I'd left off, I found my way around the Whirl Islands, caught Lugia and battled the Elite Four, then beat the Kanto Gym Leaders. I wasn't sure what to do after that, as my team still isn't strong enough to take on Red so I decided to hunt down the Legendaries while grinding. Suicune was the first and I finally caught it after chucking nearly all my Pokeballs at it, catching it in my last Ultraball.
After that, I did a bit more levelling and went after Zapdos... except I'd forgotten to stock up on Pokeballs and had very few left. As I just saved beforehand, I thought that once this attempt failed, I'd just reload the game, fly back to Cerulean City and stock up on Ultraballs, but I threw my single Pokeball at Zapdos for a joke... three shakes and then click. Zapdos was captured. I figured he was bored of hanging around the Power Plant so kept him in my party instead of that Suicune. :| -------------------- |

Taking on Whitney in HeartGold, I'm not using a fighting type for my team so I figured my best bet was Balboa the Geodude. Used Rollout on the Clefairy, hit twice for the kill. That damn Miltank came out and used Attract. Balboa was having none of it, attacked, and a critical third power Rollout knocked out Whitney's Miltank in one shot. Feels good, man.

Well, it's been a long while but I finally picked my HG game back upto beat it and eventually start porting my mons to the next gen games and so on. I already have the Shiny Beast trio from the events, so I am meh about bothering to catch Entei and Raikou from the burnt tower. I've run into Entei twice, once outside of the Daycare outside of Goldenrod city and the second time was out on the freaking water patch just above the Cherrygrove on Route 30 ( I think it's 30). I was leveling my Bellsprout up to 20 and trying to catch a second Poliwag. Really, Entei, really? You're going to appear on WATER?

(click to show ) Kinda a rare experience for someone, but I think my craziest experience in HG was the Arceus event. I never thought I would ever see something like that on my DS. I have run into him TWICE now while SURFING!! I get the 'CAN'T ESCAPE' message when I try to flee and then he just runs away. -------------------- |
