Ladies and gentlemen, we have added two new mods to the Uprising Staff. Protoman and Amissa have agreed to help us out, and will be doing so effective immediately.

Feel free to ask them any questions or seek any mod-duties from them. Umbrae Calamitas and I are also available if needed. Specifically, for now, they do not have the ability to move, delete, or unhide posts, so those kinds of requests need to be sent to UC and I. We are working on getting them those abilities.

Please welcome them with open arms!

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I am here, quite obviously, to make an announcement.

Listed on the Specialist Classes page are the classes that characters are able to choose from once they become an Elite and are strong and practiced enough to use adequately (in character, mind). We, as mods, plan to make a list under each Class of specializations - areas of expertise that a character may either specialize in, or use for a particular RP or Arc.

I would like to make a note that these are NOT more Classes. These are Specializes, and you may choose them if you wish, use them frequently, rarely, or not at all.

What I am offering here is a chance for you to make suggestions, comments, or complaints about the idea, that will all be taken into account if and before the list goes up.

Egg Moves

Ladies and Gentlemen, after careful deliberation, it has been decided that Egg Moves will be allowed from the very beginning of a pokemon's life as your partner. This means you will not have to wait until your pokemon reaches a certain level to use an egg move; they will be able to use it from the start. Obviously, the strength of it depends on the pokemon's level. We trust you all to have discretion.

I would like to point out some things:

1) This ONLY applies to Egg Moves, moves your pokemon specifically get through breeding. TMs are still restricted by level.

2) If your level 3 riolu has the egg move Earthquake, and goes up against a level 25 that knows Dig, EVEN if that riolu used Earthquake while the raichu was underground, the most that is expected to happen is that the raichu comes up a little sore (and possibly pissed). We will, however, accept that the shock of the move might cause the raichu to surface early or miss.

3) This is only for Uprising. PANE's rules are not affected by this.

I have some bad news I need to share.

Master Houndoom, who was a good friend of both mine and Living Arrow's outside of RP, passed away the weekend before last due to health problems.

Arrow and I are handling things concerning the RPs that Master Houndoom played in, and discussing the alterations with the mods, as needed.

I apologize for the delay in posting up about this, but I had needed time to make sure some things were finished before I made an announcement.
