Didn't see anything in the "Things not to suggest" pin or in any previous threads about adding additional languages to the settings, so I don't know if this idea has been previously discussed or not.
Currently, we can view the Pokemon name language in four settings: English, French, German, and Japanese (Romaji). I would like to suggest that we have a new language "setting" -- Japanese (Kana). I know this isn't really a "game-changing" suggestion, but I personally think it might be nice to be able to read the Japanese Pokemon names in Japanese characters. It is more of an aesthetic preference than anything else, but I'd like to be able to read the Japanese names in Japanese (which, by the way, is my other mother tongue), and not in Latin characters. I'm not saying we should get rid of the Japanese (Romaji) setting either; I think having both the Kana and the Romaji options would be nice so that those who want to view the Japanese names can do so either in Latin characters or in Japanese characters. I know this isn't really a "game-changing" suggestion, but I think it would be nice to have nonetheless. Tell me what you guys think. ==> Also, I would be more than happy to provide/type out the translation names in katakana if anyone needs them. -------------------- |

Nice idea, but I hope the incomplete other languages are fixed first. :/

Nice idea, but I hope the incomplete other languages are fixed first. :/ I agree that fixing other languages should be a priority (didn't even realize that some of the other translations were incomplete). Maybe afterwards, then? -------------------- |

I support this. Can even help if there's some kind of list around to show what's missing.
