Sooo, how exactly does one get a ditto egg? When breed with another pokemon the child comes out as the other parents species, and when put together ditto wont' breed. Where are the admins getting all these baby ditto? Are they budding asexually? Are they just regular ditto taped up in fake eggs? =o What do you guys think?

I assumed that this related enough to GPX since it's the only place that actually has ditto eggs. If not feel free to move/lock it. Do NOT post the discription or picture of the ditto egg. That is not what this topic is about. Do not just say that they appear in the lab. I already know that. That also is not the topic of this thread.

Wrong place for the question but Ditto eggs can be found in the lab. But are Very rare and you will be unlikely to find one.

Try using a repel that might boost your chances though

Not really what I was going for. I meant where are the ditto eggs coming from since ditto can't actually produce baby ditto. Was looking for a more imaginative take on the question.

This Pokémon looks rather hungry.. she cannot mature as fast unless she is fed.
Would you like to give her a berry?

This is not a person asking for an actual answer to where to find a ditto egg. It's a hypothetical question...if a ditto can't make ditto eggs, where do the eggs come from?

I think the stork brings them...

I think that Dittos transform themselves into the shape of an egg in order to be collected :/

Posting images of the eggs or their discriptions is against the rules. Please don't get my topic locked.
Needless to say that I have never seen one, but I would imagine that it's purple. Like a ditto. =o I really have no idea though.

If you know what a Ditto egg looks like, it's fairly obvious.
It's just a transformed Ditto!

Them Dittos are tricky little buggers...
If they don't wanna be found, you're not gonna find em, but once they want to be found, a mysterious egg appears on your doorstep

I think its a form of mitosis. A ditto that feels lonely will "clone itself" or seperate into two different ditto.

Ditto can appear on my doorstep any day xD Its cute, and it's powers are cool. I wonder if they transform in to other pokemon once they're in your party and make you think they vanished =o

The scripts generate the eggs, so they are generated and they don't come from anywhere.

Do you think that those ditto see themselves as the same pokemon, or function independantly?
