so, over the past day I think I've ordered enough games to complete all main series games (excluding Black), and all pre-Gen IV handheld spinoffs. Along with a GameCube and Colosseum. I'm hype as FUCK

I ended up removing the GC from the order though... something like $200USD to ship all components, and then I realised I would've had to buy a stepdown transformer to even run the thing here in Aus. Just gonna ask around in some Facebook groups, see if anyone has a GC they don't want. -------------------- |

Usually I LOVE the tasks that group a bunch of random Pokemon together....
but this one, I rarely see any of those Pokemon around in the shelter. I'm just gonna breed some Stantler for today to help out. I spent 10 minutes refreshing the shelter starting at reset and found squat of any egg required. -------------------- |

On Friday I finally bought myself a Switch I've only got Mario Kart at the moment, but I'm a bit of a Mario Kart tragic so I'm fine with just the at the moment :P Will definitely get Fire Emblem Warriors when that comes out in a couple of months. Also thinking of eventually getting Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, but I have a few other games I need to finish off first.

Oh Breath of the Wild is pretty awesome on the Switch.
Will be interesting to see how Pokemon will change in graphics and playstyle on the switch. Also I wonder if they are going into another "New Nintendo Switch 3D XL" spree. |

Also I wonder if they are going into another "New Nintendo Switch 3D XL" spree. oh I hope not... Special edition Switches ok I get that but please no XL The Switch is big enough as it is. I wouldn't want a Mini version either since that would be like playing on a cellphone. Personally I think a snow white Switch would look nice. Might be a bit hard to keep it looking clean though I know there's people out there just making cases for theirs but I can't imagine that comes without potential dangers. -------------------- |

A pink Switch would be nice, maybe with baby blue Joy-Cons. I think I heard one of those console decal companies say they can't support the Switch for some reason, so I guess I just gotta pray to Nintendo.

Battling tasks aside what else would you guys want to see? Personally I'd be all for item buying tasks or evolution tasks :P I have tons of evolution stones in my inventory just sitting there ready to be used. Evolution tasks are always welcome. Nice break between all those "interact with X amount of Pokemon" or "buy X amount of items" tasks. -------------------- |

Also I wonder if they are going into another "New Nintendo Switch 3D XL" spree. Usually domestic consoles (which is basically what Switch is, despite its portables features) go through some reviews one or two years after its initial release and new models are launched. However, the norm is to reduce the size and not to increase it. Since Switch isn't your typical domestic console, the only things that I could see changed is the screen, the batteries and the materials from which the console is made. -------------------- |

I am so pissed off right now. About a month ago, the woman that was renting out the apartment above the garage just stopped showing up, leaving most of her stuff behind. Initially, that irritated me since anything we couldn't use, we'd have to move out and eventually take to the dump.
One of those thing was a giant fish tank... which turns out it still has a fish in it! Which means for a good month, this fish hasn't been taken care of since none of us even knew it existed since every time we saw the tank it looked empty (visibility in the water was very low). As icing on the cake, the owner was a freaking vet tech, so her job was taking care of animals! Some research has me thinking it's a Pleco Fish, a bottom feeder type, which is why it's still alive after being abandoned for a month. Even then, it still burns me that she would just abandon an animal like that In any case, I was thinking of getting a pet for my child care classroom, so it looks like our kids are going to learn how to care for a Pleco Fish, among other types. -------------------- |

Hm... one of the pokemon options for today's scavenger hunt is Silvally (Steel), but there's no such thing in the pokedex. Something to expect in the near future?

QUOTE the woman that was renting out the apartment above the garage just stopped showing up The question is: Is she okay? @SilverPT I agree withyou and at least they will bring out some new designs. QUOTE Hm... one of the pokemon options for today's scavenger hunt is Silvally (Steel), but there's no such thing in the pokedex. Something to expect in the near future? Did you found out about Silvally? It's a Type:Null evolution but I thought it was normal and not steel. |

Type: Null evolves into Silvally, but Silvally has different types depending on what Type Memory it holds. For the record, Silvally [Steel] (or any of the other types) aren't available yet. -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. QUOTE the woman that was renting out the apartment above the garage just stopped showing up The question is: Is she okay? I have no idea. She was into some pretty shady stuff (one of the reasons we asked that she find a new residence) and had a boyfriend that was into some pretty shady stuff. We tried calling her, and her phone's no longer accepting phone calls. We tried going to her workplace (mom used to work with her), and she hasn't been working there for a few weeks and they have no idea how to get a hold of her. -------------------- |

That sounds extremely worrying. Like, I don't want to be a downer, but it really does sound like one of those "hope for the best but expect the worst" kind of situations.

If you think she's in the apartment, you can have police perform a wellness check!

Well moving day is tomorrow.
I really should be more packed so I need to work on that today. We're also apparently not going to have internet for 5-6 days after moving so today might be the last you hear from me for a little while. Hope you guys are all okay, of course, and I'll talk whenever I can. -------------------- Light is a spectrum. Why limit yourself to a single hue? Ugh, I didn't post or even do much on the site in days. Why? Hurricane Harvey. :/
I live just south of Houston, and luckily, my home didn't flood in any way. Our whole neighborhood was fine, actually. But damn, was it scary. Everything's okay, though. Too bad I missed a bunch of Scavenger tasks due to all the stress and everything else. Now I'm worried about Irma. -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site!
