Koryu Hiroki stepped outside and held his hand up to his foreheaad to block the intensity of the glorious Fidona sun. His grandparents walked out behing him and handed him his messenger bag, filled with potions, pokeballs, and money lent to him by his parents. His grandmother spoke,
"Good luck out there in Furoh, this area isn't like the Kanto and Johto region," she smiled. Next his grandfather spoke, "Ditto. Be sure to care for the pokemon we gave you, also the little one you found." "I'm sorry your parents couldn't be here to see you off on your next journey, I'm sure they would be proud." Koryu smiled and nodded. In cosideration of his pokemon on the beginning of they're journey, he let them out and allowed them to say bye to their caretakers. Koryu hugged his Grandparents and walked off leaving his them waving in the distance. He walked briskly, taking in the magnificent sunlight and fresh afternoon air. He walked on for a while and, as most trainers do, found and battled some wild pokemon to train his own. But Koryu felt sorry for the wild pokemon and healed them after each battle. He started laughing after he healed each one thinking that he probably shouldn't mention this to other trainers on his journey. He knew he was already strange enough, this was something that no one else needed to know about him... "Damn, I ran out of potions." He would walk along humming a song, his bulbasaur and chikorita running ahead of him playing games in the fields, which from the melodic tune he was humming seemed to get more rich and abundant with grasses and flowers. Yet another thing he shouldn't mention to others... He came to a crossroad out in the middle of the plains. One trail led to a town and the other led to a forest, which seemed densly populated with pokemon and abundant life. The sign pointing toward the forest said Fidona forest - 5 miles, and the sign pointing towards the town said Fidona - 18 miles. He released his pidgey to get an overhead view of both trails as he pulled out the map his grandparents gave him. The forest trail led to Fidona, just as the other trail did, but the forest trail took longer. Pidgey returned and acted as if there was something going on in the forest. Koryu smiled, "Guess we get to take the forest trail then." This post has been edited by knil1: Mar 14 2009, 04:52 PM -------------------- Uprising (click to show ) |

The sun came over the horizon as three distinct figures floated in on the tide. One capped boy hanging onto a shell while a boy and a girl both holding separate yet identical white creatures. They had been floating unconsciously in the ocean for hours because their pokemon had swum themselves so much that they were knocked out; their trainer's were out cold much longer before the pokemon were. The group was suddenly thrust onto the shore of a sandy beach by a large wave of saltwater. As they seemingly glided along the sandy shore, the tiny turtle pokemon woke up to find his trainer unconscious. Alarmed, the pokemon jumped on his trainer's belly causing spurts of water to explode from the boy's mouth.
"Ugh!" Travis choked as he was brought back to consciousness. His Squirtle jumped up and down and hugged his trainer dearly. "Oh geeze," Travis stated, stunned by his surroundings and dumbfounded at the events that had occurred only a few hours ago. Travis immediately noticed Millenia and Ryan both hanging onto their pokemon, all of whom were not awake. Travis and Squirtle immediately tried pumping the water out of the two companions and watched as the couple choked out their swallowed saltwater. "Guys, are you alright?" Travis asked dearly. After they responded and had recovered enough, Travis posed a funny, yet serious question: "Now where the heck are we?" -------------------- |
