I am glad this is only a one-day event. It has already been hard during days of hyper-activity insta-hatching to walk away but I am getting a little better about playing as I would prefer. And most of those days my PC would fill so I would simply be Done as I can be.
But as the game continues to shift towards constant activity away from casual, intermittent play it is losing a lot of its charm when it feels like it can absorb that level of time and attention.
Assuming two of the triple powers are Hatch+ and Release+ this will be an open-ended catch and release. I see a lot of "this egg was likely taken by another user" alerts...

Hopefully you all enjoy the raffle and get something cool, be it with coins or raffle entries! May your boxes not be at capacity and your eggs in plentiful stock.

This is what I'd like clarification on to. It says the shop will close when the event ends, so I would assume that is the 31st at reset, yes??
God i just hope people breed some orange so I can finish getting the shiny for the line. I have all the rest xD

This is so interesting, but I doubt I have time to participate. Maybe...just maybe I'll be able to hatch at least 5 for one ticket. Who knows. =)Good luck, guys, and have a fun event and safe New Years=)

Originally the lab was filled with magikarp eggs, and now it isn't? I've never participated in an event like this on GPX so I wanted to ask why? And will the lab be filled with magikarp eggs again? Will it swap from magikarp eggs to regular lab eggs? Or is it just regular lab eggs now?

Today's event was a lot of fun. Who knew fishing could reap such rewards? LOL I managed 2 (or was it 3?) shiny fishies today and didn't spend any of the coin I earned. Not sure what the raffle will hold for us (me) but I hope we all wind up happy at the end of it all.
Happy New Year's Eve (one hour left over here) everyone! And thank you for the fun holiday events this time around, GPX! When I could participate... it was a blast!

We werwn't told to keep a party slot open, so I assume its going to be a voucher of some kind.
First post also says "The raffle will take place sometime on January 1st." so I assume it just hasn't happened yet.

No you did not, Seiden. I think it's too early still for the raffle to have taken effect. Usually, I think, they'd update the main post thread (this one) to announce what was in the raffle and that it was done.

I think those 3 (+pokemon obtained) didn't count as it was obvious many ppl will hatch/obtain/release lots of pokemons and it would be kinda unfair. It was just too easy. My 'earned pass orbs today' record is updated tho.

This is pretty much the case. The stats that weren't saved were:
1) Pokémon released today.
2) Eggs hatched today.
3) Pokémon obtained today.
4) Coins obtained today.

New Year's Raffle:
As originally mentioned, for every 5 unspent coins you had yesterday, you earned 1 entry into the raffle. There were 427 eligible users, and 305 voucher prizes went out. Given that it's a raffle, a prize is not guaranteed (nor is the rarity of the prize), you simply increase your chances by having more entries.
Here's the list of prizes that went out:
- 5 - Sh. Legend Voucher Plus
- 10 - Sh. Otherworldly Voucher
- 25 - Sh. Novelty Voucher
- 50 - Sh. Voucher Plus
- 15 - Sh. Dreepy Voucher
- 100 - Legend Voucher Plus
- 100 - Dreepy Voucher
As you can see, Dreepy is now available! Thanks to Mosica for spriting it.

It was a fun event, thank you! 
It sometimes felt like a frenzy filled day trying to find some time for it before/after work but I still had fun and I'm happy with my prize. 
Now the question is what to use it for...

I wasn't keeping track of which vouchers I had, but I think I might've gotten the Sh. Legend Voucher Plus xD Or the Sh. Otherworldly Voucher. They're the only two that I can't remember having xD Though I'm thinking it's the former cuz I used my last one on a Spectrier, and remember wishing I'd used it on something else pfft

Looks like I got one of the Sh. Novelty Vouchers despite derping on the 'Spending coins in the shop means those coins will not be converted to raffle tickets!' rule until I was over seven hundred coins out 
Now to figure out which novelty to use my new voucher on~

Oh wow! I can't believe the luck I had with the raffle from this event. I can't thank you, GPX, enough. It was a fun event and I am walking away with some cool rewards. I feel so lucky and honored to walk away with the prizes I did and the 3 new Magi Shines to boot. Over all, 5 stars (out of 5) for this event. Thanks!!
