Hello, well I wanted to do a Mass Effect RP because I absolutely love the games and with the help of Marshtomp2 we've gotten a plot of some sort.
Oh, sorry for all the spoilers, ha

The Reapers have been destroyed and after years of rebuilding, everything has almost gotten back to how it was. If you're thinking 'Oh cool, salvage reaper tech and make insane weapons' well, NO. The council managed to survive the ordeal and has gotten strong again. All reaper artefacts and tech have been destroyed, apart from the bits that were taken by what would be considered evil organisations.

The plot of this RP is pretty simple. The human council member has been kidnapped by an unknown group or individual, no one actually knows who or what took him. The other council members are still adjusting to having a human member amongst them, and don't show much compassion towards the missing Dominic. Only through worry and complaints from humans have they decided to assign some people to finding Dominic. However, they didn't bother to find anyone they thought were good.

You are one of the people they asked. The council has provided you with a spaceship, although not a good one, and weapons and armour. They have also made the exception to give you partial Spectre status, and have promised that the safe return of the human council member may lead to you becoming a fully fledged spectre. They have also stated that they are not responsible for you in any way, so it'd best not to mess up.

~ If swearing don't overuse the 'F' word. In the games it's never said, but other words are. So no extreme swearing I guess.
~ Ask if you need to take control of someone else's character.
~ Try your best to spell properly, I know nobody's perfect, but as long as it's understandable then I guess I'll let it slide.
~ I would like you to be at least a little bit active if you join. I come on a few times a day, and once before I go to bed, so maybe 1 post at least every 2 days would be great.
~ I'll probably add more as I think more up.

If you can give a good enough reason I may allow you to be a Geth or another race of your choice. But I'd need a pretty good reason. Also, if you are an Asari I will allow you to be an Ardat-Yakshi. However, it must be a secret, and if the council finds out about it you may be sent to the monastery where other Ardat-Yakshi sufferers are, or you may be killed.

Due to obvious reasons I would prefer it if your chosen race had a class that made sense. Humans can be basically anything, but I'm not sure that a Quarian Adept would make much sense. Also, Asari are natural biotics so don't need implants.

We could be officers from S-SEC or Specters and have to find him...

It could work, but I'm not sure how the plot would go about for just one council member. I mean, like I can't see much happening to stop us from finding the council member, unless whoever took them were like Cerberus and had bases all over the place so we'd have to search a few to find info.

Hmm... well not sure why Cerberus would do that...they're far too rich without a kidnap...

WAIT! How about he's kidnapped by...someone? Unindentified. And we rescue him in the start. I mean we will have to RP a while until then, but let's say he sais there is a weapon, or something. And we must uncover these misterious things and find the object. Or something...

I didn't mean like that Cerberus took them, but like someone who was a bit like them or something. Urm, I guess yeah, at the start like a council member could get taken, maybe a new human one instead of Udina(Cus I hated him) and the other members didn't care much for the Humans still, so they didn't bother to find anyone extremely skilled to track the member down (little would they know that we were quite skilled).

I honestly don't really have much in the way of any ideas on this :s But yeah, we could just start off by rescuing and see where we go from there?

Well I didn't really like him all that much cus of his attitude, but then after what happened in Mass Effect 3 I just hated him.

Yeahh, I'll try to clean the thread up a bit tomorrow/later. Just thought I'd try get a post in quickly to let you know that I'm still interested, I know it's been a day or two since I posted.

You could write teh action takes place years after shepard and the Reapers. that would explain alot!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was going to take place after the Reapers, or if they didn't happen at all. I'll add a bit in now quickly, then have my own form done a bit later. Not sure what race to have.

Appearance:

Personality: Confident, but with a fragile ego. Is a loyal companion, but tends to lie alot. (Which is totally againts Turian codex. He doesnt care though.) He can't keep non-important secrets. He jokes alot and doesnt take stuff too serious. He's a good tactician.

Bio: Danien Tictus was born in a turian colony, which was soon destroyed. He was moved to the refugee's camp on the Citadel where he became a merc for a short time. There he proved as a valuable sniper and tactician. He wored for the Eclipse for a short time but quit and managed to join the C-Sec. He became famous for his deadeye accuracy and stealth abbilities. He became a bodyguard for alot of different VIPs including a Citadel member once.

He earned his scars while fighting off a Krogan merc that managed to get to him and engage a close - combat.
He has a sister - Nollona who he despises.

Other: He uses a Mantis Sniper, A Shuriken SMG and a Disciple Shotgun that he earned while killing an Asari Matriarch while still being a merc.

He has a Kawashii Visor which greatly boosts his headshot damage.

He isnt good at close range even when using a shotgun.

Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Class: Adept

Appearance: This outfit but looks like this. Hair is about shoulder length, but she has it tied back most of the time.

Personality: I can never really think of how I want my characters to act, so I guess I'll RP it.

Bio: She was raised in a small human colony, or that's what people were led to believe. Really it was a research facility where a group of scientists would run tests and experiments on those with unique gifts. Due to a genetic mutation in her body, Nikki was able to naturally use biotics without the aid of an implant. Although she wasn't powerful, it was still there, and the scientists were fascinated. She was tested and experimented on for the best part of her childhood, and didn't try to stop them due to her not knowing anything different. This was her life, no one had shown her any different.

An alliance ship eventually came to check out the planet after a mysterious distress signal was sent out. They found out the true nature of the colony. However, because most of the people who had unique abilities were brought at a very young age, they had more or less been brainwashed into believing that the alliance was trying to kill them all, and there ended up being a big shoot out. Almost everyone was killed. A few alliance officers survived and scouted the horrible scene. They found a few people who were more than willing to go with them, and on their way out they found Nikki huddled in a corner. They took her with them and made sure she was okay.

Nikki is now a very powerful biotic. The facility had implanted the best into her to amplify her powers as much as possible, however it can cause a lot of strain on her body. After managing to get a ride to the citadel, she got a temporary job at C-Sec when she was 16 and ended up staying there to become quite a valuable member.

Other: She uses a Phaeston Assault Rifle and a M-6 Carnifex Heavy Pistol. She prefers to use her pistol as she has spent her whole time at C-Sec saving up and upgrading it. She has managed to get hold of a Pistol Piercing mod and a Pistol Scope.

Sigh... I should play thorugh all ME - only did ME2 and now finishing ME3....

Okay. Not sure how we should start it though. Like should we start before they give us the assignment, or have already been given it? I don't know

Yeah, I need to get the 1st and 2nd again. I thought I did a playthrough on them all where I completed ME1 with a character and then completed ME2 with the imported character from ME1, but when it came to importing to ME3 I didn't have a single character so I really want to do one where my character goes through all 3 games.

I hate it how if you dont play ME2 you have to kill Legion or Tali. Afcors whiping out their whole civilization aswell. I had to choose Tali...

So how are you doing with your character creation?

I'm done now.

Yeah, I hated that she died. Tali killed herself in my first playthrough because I sided with the Geth with the hopes of having one on my crew again. Doing an insanity run now where I'll be doing things differently and being more of a renegade character.
