Shadow from Shadow Pokemon, and Larvitar as the Larvitar line is one of my favorite lines. So it's basically named for a Shadow Larvitar.

well, I'm Bon.
a past friend ended up associating me with Whimsicott, so then the drawings of Whimsicott me ended up referred to as Whimsibon... solely by me. it stuck, I decided to make that my username on here.
changing it to Whimsibon happened kinda recently, decided it made more sense on here.
previously, it was Plague Butt, a Shovel Knight reference. I'm Plague Knight in the friends order of no quarter(my thing I did because I always associate people with fictional characters), and I think butt mode is hilarious, so Plague Butt. simple enough.

I was watching some old sonic video a long time ago and some guy said something about a swissroll and i thought it was hilarious so i've used swiss and swissroll on just about everything since. you'd be suprised how open that name is on most places.

Now I'm known as Emmagurd all across the internet. You know that meme EERMMAAGHUURDDD with the girl holding a cake I think it is? Yeah. I am called Emma. Someone went "EMMAGURDDDD?!" and the rest is history xD

My username comes from my days on Runescape when I was a wee pre-teen.

My friend was playing on my account and he calls me up to tell me an NPC just gave my character a randomly generated name in their language, and that I should use it for an alternate account because it sounded cool.

So he spells it out for me R-A-L-L-A-H
But I misheard him and ended up with what I have now.

Funny thing is, the account I used before that, I gave to another friend and he now uses that as his own online name.

I've seen a lot of unique and intresting usernames around here, and I'm really curious about where some of them came from. I know some of them probably have some nice stories behind them, so share them here! ^^

Also, this is kinda like a contest at the same time (if you feel like it) Nominate someone you think:

I, personally, changed usernames from site to site. When thinking about one for here, I decided to go outside my usual Silver or Kunada (If your curious about those two, ask anyway XD) and use one I either hadn't used ever before, or only once before. It took forever for me to remember that I went by Luna on a vampire RP site, when I was trying to see if one of my friend would recognize me if I changed my name (it actually worked for a month, until I gave them my Gaia username. Whoops) Since Luna was taken, I just added 'star' as a suffix (Warrior fans will know that 'star' is given to leaders of Clans) and there you go. A username I could actually remember :P

I've had my nick name since high school. It was something I gave myself, my alter ego name. I have another name I go by but I mostly use this one. My other name is Nykori (see pokefarmQ as I have too much time on my hands)

My username came from a game character's nickname. I usually used the nickname "Axicia" but I don't use the name on certain sites, like this one.

Back when diamond and pearl first released, I remembered seeing this exclusive ds with a palkia on it (maybe dialga was on it too? i'm not sure). From then on, starting with some of my first online site accounts, I made my username, PalkiaDS, based off of that sort of ds. I really liked it ^^;

It's a combination of two of my cats' names, Larz and Silver. I don't remember when I started using it, but now I use it pretty much everywhere.
