My jesus, I saw the "Account Suspended" page and I nearly died. FOSERIOUS. GPXP still isn't back online though... I hope the sites are being moved to a better server. X3

I wasn't too surprised when I saw that, actually, giving how much the site has been down for me today. I thought it might have been too much for whatever hosting service or plan this place uses.
I am glad that the forums are back up, though. -------------------- |

Lol. xD Happy I already seen a site that was an overload and had the "Account Has Been Suspended" message when it was taken down. Or I would've been freaking out, too.

It was to be expected really. And at least FEP and GTS are running smoothly once again.

The downtime was expected.
I didn't actually click on the topic, but all I knew was there was going to be downtime. It was probably my fault, I was warming so many eggs. -------------------- |

Whatever server the site is hosted on is complete shit, 'sall I have to say. x3
Ever since I started playing here (two days ago?) the site would be down a lot of the time the kiddies were out of school. <.<; During school hours, I'd be able to do stuff without problems. XD; -------------------- |

Well, there has been a huge influx of new users and that can put some strain on the system of course. Just have patience, this site will definitely come through.

I wouldn't say it's all the server's fault. It's the influx of people who registered here just for the egg site.

I got kind of scared too when I saw that, I thought I got suspended for refreshing on my party to see if the site came back yet. I noticed alot of crashes too since I joined. Oh well, I hope the site gets better servers and runs faster.

Its not surprising. After all, its pokemon, and its a game of course its going to get popular. ;D
Lots of people are going to join just for the egg's... Heck I joined basically just for the game, not the forums. But I still come on here once in awhile to lurk... -------------------- |

I host a site that has just as much popularity as this. I'd be more popular then it is if the admin's weren't complete douchebags, but that's besides the point. e.e; It has a lot more options butttt, it is no where near as fun. x3
It runs smoothly and the only downtime it has is when my host trips over a power cord. XD -------------------- |

It actually isn't directly caused by the influx of traffic. The server was perfectly capable of handling it, and even semi-capable of handling it before the upgrade the other night.
What's been causing the downtime right now, I don't entirely know right now, but we're looking into the issue, of course. -------------------- |

Site wasn't actually suspended by our host or anything, we just temporarily suspended the site so the server would actually load for us so we could do things. Impossible to try and work on things to try to make things more efficient when nothing loads.

One of the main errors i've been getting while browsing the forums and GPX was QUOTE Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/gtsplus/public_html/gpxplus/include.php on line 463 Too many connections In my uninformed opinion, it might be something to do with either the include.php file gettin accessed too many times, or the MySQL database's MAX_CONNECTIONS sysvar needs upping a tad. -------------------- |

I'm glad you took it off for a bit. A least when its off the forums work properly, instead of having both of them keep crashing. Look forward to it being fixed
