Hello everyone! It's October! Which means it's the start of the holiday gauntlet toward the end of the year. As a reminder, if you want to snag the http://www.ign.com/wikis/pokemon-sun-pokemon-moon/Mystery_Gift_Codes for your copies of Sun and Moon, the codes expire at the end of the month!

Congratulations to Wulfenites for winning this Site Wide Shiny Hunt. Congratulations, also, to everyone who hatched a shiny!

The prize for this month's Shiny Hunt won't be complete on reset, so please bear with us until it goes live. It shouldn't take more than a day or two.

Question for the Community: Would you like it if these monthly posts contained reminders/heads ups for Mystery Gifts for Pokemon Games like codes at stores or code downloads? It would be limited to reminders for Pokemon/Items for people to get in their 3DS games and not inclusive of all Pokemon news. What do y'all think?

Oh... I'll admit, I'm a bit disappointed no UBs or Magearna expedition happened.
I think I'll pick Keldeo and Kyurem.

Well, September went way too quickly. Can't wait to see who the Novelty prize will be though! Alas, I was never able to obtain any shiny rats, but I have plenty of Prize Points, so... :P

EDIT: Yeah, also...where is Gumshoos on this site? I'm sure he'd make this site great again! :P

It sounds like a really good idea to have reminders here as well since they're quite easy to miss on other media.

As for the SWSH prize, I've been looking forward to this one to be added so I'm glad.

Idk what I'll do about explorations since I can't even be bothered to finish DotW in time. :/ Well, if I do manage to do that, I'll go for Mesprit and Kyurem.

Hmm, Kyurem or Keldeo? What to choose..Then again, I don't have the Egg dex entries for any of the emotion trio yet. Gah, why must I be so indecisive sometimes? Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. And, to think it's October already! 2017 is just flying by.

Forgive my bluntness... but holy crap! Yes!!!! Several ways to Sunday yes!!!!!

I would personally love for reminders! I usually try and keep up with the all the gifts through the Pokemon twitter and tumblr, but sometimes it slips my mind. Another place to have an extra notice would be great.

Going to go for the Kyurem and Lake Trio explorations this month. Really glad it's finally October! Can't wait for it to be Halloween.

I actually wound up with 2 Pikachu's with normal caps. I got them on different days hoping I'd get a different one the second time, but nope. Perhaps I can global trade one away. Hmmm.

Going for Azelf and Diancie, as they are the only ones I'm missing from this month's special explorations.

Reminders for 3DS Mystery Gifts sound great, I'm terrible with keeping up with them, so I'd definitely appreciate the heads up.

Hm, may skip the explorations this month. Going for another fresh start on the site (keeps boredom at bay) and I'll probably go by generation or something.

RE: Mystery gifts, I like that inclusion. I don't even really play the games anymore as I don't have the time but the reminders are still nice for everyone.

Oh hey, this is all fun! I'm not starting the exploration today, but I'm sure I'd have fun getting another Uxie or Azelf!

Also happy 21st birthday to me! I finally finished a shiny hunt in the time allotted instead of piling another one into my never ending list.

Oh yes, 3DS reminders are good. I need to get my Hoenn hat pikachu and the rest of the mega stones... Just gotta remember to take my 3DS home with me this time.

This month, I am totally completing the "Diamonds are Forever" exploration!

I really like the idea of the monthly posts containing information about item/pokemon distribution events for the 3DS. I find it really helpful, so thank-you for that!
