I'll ignore my worries and speak out.

If one thinks of it a lot of pokemon are in need of evolution inorder to get quite powerful and give hits to many pokemon you'd go against.

Example would be the pokemon Magikarp & Febass. *clear throat.* Pardon if I mispelled there. If Pokemon like tat go from frail and barely able to powerful and swift and dangerous. In fact we could go into other pokemon which are decent but then become highly powerful if it's given the power.

BUT...

There's pokemon that don't evolve yet got quite strong attack or the like. I'll go with...Zangoose, and Aerodactyl. Both of them got quite good power and seem quite bulky compared to the lowest evolved pokemon. Though the downer of that is the power is SET in rock so it won't evolve much or at all.

So... which would be perfered by you? (I like both of them though it's not an easy choice.)

I always feel a lot more comfortable with evolving pokemon because they give me some motivation to level them up. Even here in GPX+ I'm more likely to throw an evolving pokemon into the pokewalker than a non-evolving one, simply for the satisfaction of getting them to their final evolution stage. When I have a non-evolving pokemon in the pokewalker I feel less inclined to mass click.
