This was a topic on seribii but I want new facts so just post any facts.
I will start with more commons ones then post some less known Articuno=Artic and one Zapdos=Zap and two Moltres=MolTEN and three Arbok backwards Kobra Ekans backwards Snake Satoshi got the idea of Pokemon from the fact that when he was a child he collected and captured bugs Pokeballs are based on the pods you put them in) Jynx was origanlly black skinned put later was changed due to people thinking she was a raciast stereotype The reason for Brocks absent was that poeple thought the viewers would find Brock as a stereotype Shellos and Gastradon were meant to be in R/S/E but they couldnt get the game to read them as one Pokemon just with dif. forms Meowth is based off of Satoshi's pet house cat Pikachu wasnt orrigionally the mascot but was changed to it due to its increeasing popularity Walking Pokemon in HG/SS came from the fact that the players Pikachu walked with you in Yellow version Dent Pod and Corn have the least activity in the players game in Black and White Bite and Karate Chop were both normal types in generation 1 Golduck is based on a Japanesse Myth of a creature that drags children into a lake Drifloom is based on a spirit that drags children to the underworld -------------------- ______________
