Squirtle.

I have both games, so I started with my favourite, Squirtle.
Then I began a new game on the other game with Charmander, had hin transferred to the one with Squirtle, then deleted the Charmander game and began it all over again with Bulbasaur. Charmander was generally a harder start Pokemon, IMO. -------------------- |

For the originals I took Squirtle.
For my first playthrough of LG I chose Bulbasaur, then I was upset to learn that I wouldve gotten Raikou if I took Squirtle. Oh well --------------------     |

Only once have I not used Bulbasaur, the only other time being Squirtle, since I was in a "Schiggy is such an awesome name" kick.

Bulbasaur, but Kanto is the only region where I love all three starters the same. I could've started with any of them and be okay, but I chose Bulbasaur because I'm partial to Grass-types.

i started with charmander cuz.
Venasaur Owns Blastoise. Blastoise is supposed to own Charizard. Charazard Owns Everything Charizards are awsomness. and charmanders too, burt charmeleons are kinda stupid looking. --------------------   herp derp herp. Good idea. Herp. Oh, what's this?  But I traded over Bulbasaur and Squirtle too, so I had all three on my Kanto team.
