Well, on a whim, I started looking around the internet, and though it is still 2 days before release, the sprites have been ripped.

CREDIT NOT TO ME, CREDIT TO WHOEVER RIPPED THEM.

Personally, The persian, gengar, magikarp, and muk sprites are badass. Venusaur looks more in-character. The Jolteon sprite SUCKS, but overall, I wish they'd have done all of the poke's. And lapras's sprite is too condensed for my taste (I'm a hypocrite.)

....What do you think? I'm tempted to take all of the sprites and make them individual.

I don't like the new Umbreon sprite... At all... Most of the new Eeveelution sprites don't look too good :/

I removed the transparent background in case anyone wanted to work with these in something like Paint.
Paint doesn't handle transparency well.

Thanks to Crater, now I know what they look like. Most of these are just revamps from 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1 from 1st gen.

Simply put my team is going to be styling.

Granted, only three get new sprites but at least the platinum ones for for the others.

Raichu now looks more adorable... Seems like they can't decide on whether to make it look serious or cute.

Some of them look rather awkward, like Scyther and Raichu, and the Eeveelutions are UMWELL :/ The legendary dogs are not bad (not as cool, though) but Moltres and Articuno aren't very nice anymore. Lugia has a pimple.

They look so amazingly cute omg.

It's a shame none of the 3rd gen or 4th gen sprites were remade. ;.;
I was looking forward to lake trio reposes.

None the less, some of those are pretty good, while the rest look a bit crazy. X3;

Edit ; Oh, just noticed Celebi and Smeargle.
Smeargle looks sooo cute. :'3
Celebi looks a little rushed, but it's still an 'awhh' factor.

I also forgot to comment on the Notch Eared Pichu.
I've seen her sprite before and I don't think it's on that rip sheet.
She looks amazing! I love the pose she has, it looks so curious and innocent like a Pichu should~ <3

I like some of them, but Dragonair's is just an insult. It looks like it has the anatomy of a spaghetti noodle. >:U

Taking a closer look at these, I am in un-love with Houndoom the cross-legged, Dratini the worm-with-a-head, and Ninetales with the chicken drumstick for a front leg.

A lot of the four-legged Pokemon's legs look off, positioning and drawing. Persian, Houndoom, Ninetales (yikes that front leg), Jolteon, other -eons, Rapidash.. They either have sticks for legs, or legs that are all at the same angle - very unnatural.

It makes me uneasy.

I love the Kanto and Johto sprites for this game! I was actually rather disappointed with the D/P/Pt sprites for the Kanto starters. They didn't have any feeling in them at all. It just looked like the artist said "It's a Blastoise. Yep. That's good enough." it didn't look battle-ready or contemplative or anything. It was just there. (IMO, anyway.)

I'm glad that the Slowbro in this game doesn't look strange this time, either. Scizor is epic, and Houndoom is still screwed up. His Gen 3 sprite was the best for me. Finally, Zubat is in a different pose, too!

I'm pretty excited, so far. I wish I could see some back sprites, but those can wait.

I've got to say, a lot of them look pretty nice. I like the Nido evolutons...I'm happy to see Nidoking facing forward instead of staring at his back all the time. .__. Blastoise looks like a giant bowling ball.

I hate Raikou and Entei's sprites. They look like their legs are a bit out of place. Lugia's is simply 'eh', and Ho-oh looks like he's trying to a split. Meh.

Newsflash! As of HGSS Scizor is taking disco lessons, Umbreon went on a diet, Moltres's wings shrunk and it let it's gut hang low, Feraligator looks psychotic, Jolteon got it's face smashed in by a train and Magmar is a Scizor wannabe!

Oh and omg Mewtwo, I swear to god he is going 'I'mmm too sexy for my purple, too sexy for my purple so sexy it hurtttsss.'
