No matter WHAT, when someone challenges me to a Shiny Race, it says
There are no Pokémon you may presently hunt that are eligible for this challenge! Either cancel this challenge or try again later. And if I try to challenge someone, it says something like, there's nobody I can challenge, they don't have a Shine Recorder, etc. It's getting really annoying. What's going on? >:| |

Are they picking a pokemon you've already hatched or at least a setting that you fit into?
And as for the people you're challenging, are they on your palpad and do they have a shine recorder? Just wanting to make sure it's not one of those before we assume it's a glitch. --------------------  |

What's going on is... there in all likelihood aren't any Pokemon you can use. Read the Shine Recorder tab, and look at what the requirements for the challenge are, yup yup.
