Here's what happens when I try to make my Dugtrio learn a weak physical Bug attack using a Bug gem. Screenshots in the spoilers.
So, I open my Dugtrio's Attacks and Hold Items page. So far so good. Spoiler (click to show ) I select a Fire gem from the drop-down menu and get this. Spoiler (click to show ) But I want a Bug attack, so I change it to the Bug gem. Spoiler (click to show ) Huh? Aren't there supposed to be TWO Bug attacks, one physical and one special? My first reaction is that I need to scroll up, but it's already all the way at the top. I don't see the physical Bug attack even if I scroll all the way down. Okay, what if I close this window and open it again? That might help. Spoiler (click to show ) Ah, Leech Life is back! Surely that means I can select it without worry now. Spoiler (click to show ) What? Why? I only have one Bug gem, and Dugtrio is holding it! (Selecting Silver Wind at this point also produces the error, I have to select Silver Wind immediately after equipping in order to get it at all.) Note that this error occurs only with the Bug gem (I've shown only Fire but also tried my other gems with similar results). By unequipping the gem and trying to put it back, the error is consistently reproduced. I have not encountered this with any of my other Pokemon so far. Let me know if you need any more details. -------------------- |

Leech Life is just super buggy. It's possible that the admins will see threads like this and fix it, but it's been repeatedly reported before and hasn't happened yet, so I wouldn't bet on it.
I was going to link you to some threads where things like this have been reported before, but I got way too many relevant results to post individually (about a couple dozen), so I'll just send you to the search results page where you can just look at them yourself.
