Question about breeding |

The likely answer is just "I'm impatient", but figured I'd ask to see if I'm actually doing something wrong.
In my GPX+ Daycare, I have a male Crystal Steelix (lv 100) and a female Roggenmorpha (lv 1). I'm trying to complete my dexes and for that I need a Roggenmorpha egg. I was originally breeding Roggenmorpha with a Gigalith, and after 340 eggs I switched Gigalith out for Crystal Steelix...I'm 197 eggs in and only 2 eggs have been novelties of the total 537 eggs, both Crystal Onix eggs. Am I not breeding Roggenmorpha correctly to get a Roggenmorpha egg, or does it just take much longer? P.S.
