If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a shiny thread for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

April Egg Distribution!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

• April 2nd: Shaymin - Winner: RicFule - 200 eggs
• April 3rd: Primal Dialga - Winner: Cycloneblaze - 200 eggs
• April 4th: Ho-oh - Winner: eevee64 - 200 eggs
• April 5th: Virizion - 200 eggs
• April 6th: Celebi - 200 eggs

April 13th: Not affected by the distribution, Pidgey eggs will be handed out with a higher chance for a shiny!

I can't believe its April already, March went by faster than I expected. I hatched my shiny for the SWSH and I hatched an accidental Oricorio (Baile) from the lab so I'm happy for the prize points.

Oooh, lots of cool Pokemon for the raffles. I'm going to go after any of them, all of them are nice shinies, maybe I'll finally get a shiny legend.

Aaaand just like that, it's April.

This is especially a meaningful month for me because I was in Japan for the first two weeks of April last year. A year flew by like it was nothing. (And why do I keep commenting on the time flying by? Lol.)

None of the giveaway things are especially interesting to me, but if I remember, I'll go for Ho-oh. I wouldn't mind Primal Dialga or Virizion either, though.

Let's see if I remember to leave room for a Pidgey egg!

Pinch. punch! First of the month! No returns! Gosh, April already...

Camp NaNoWriMo started today, too. Another session I'm sitting out of, unfortunately. Anyone participating? The cabins can be kind of fun if you manage to get talkative cabinmates.

I was able to succeed with two shinies but unfortunately my hunt for Baile ran up over 660+ eggs. I fought tooth and nail to the last second and no luck.

I believe I'll give Ho-Oh a try (assuming I remember to keep the party full and empty on the right days!).

It seems like it is. I also ended up winning another one after battling Red. It kept getting interrupted thanks to all the server downtime. I thought it had to do with those event Pikachus that wore Ash's caps from every region.

All the choices look really good for the raffle, but I already have a shiny Celebi, so I'll just go for one of the other four, maybe Shaymin because I like its shiny a lot.

I guess I'll go with the Lake Trio and Kyurem for the explorations.

Whenever those strike, it'll be nice cause all those male Pichu you hatch trying to get female Cosplays.... you can turn into Ashchus, cause Ash's Pikachu is male.

And I'll skip Shaymin, no offense but trying for Primal Dialgie will be more fun seeing as hunting those is more hard as you need to summon then corrupt and that can be quite pricey

In regards to Red, Mega Audino was fine with them all. A few boosts later I got my cap.

I already have Ho-oh and Shaymin's shiny so I definitely will not be going for those. Primal Dialga or Virizion would be lovely, actually. I might go for one of those! Celebi is also a nice alternative option to the other two.

I'm off home now for 3 weeks. Once I've sent this I need to wash up, wipe things down, pack, for a couple of hours so not so good. I need to decide on some days where I'm going to come back to Bristol and spend some time with guy I've started seeing and tell work I won't be here for a day or two at most :V

I wanted to be home for 2 of my 3 weeks but my parents are away for the last week so I need to stay and look after the house and cat. Fun.

Other than that I'd sitting down and getting all my notes done.. and revise. Can't believe my first year of uni is over. I've still got to find somewhere to live for next year too lol. I can't do that for a while, though

Oop, forgot about Snorlax. That one's the biggest threat for sure, but I was able to beat it after its AI kept being stupid and didn't use Iron Defense when I had a physical attacker out.

If anyone's curious, my team was Mega Aggron, Mega Swampert, Mega Charizard X, Luxray, Primeape, and Torterra. Rock Gem on M Swampert and Leftovers on M Aggron.

While I managed to get Baile and Sensu Oricorio in less than 50 eggs each, I didn't have suck luck with Pom-pom (and several eggs into the hunt I realized I should have picked Pa'u first since I already have a Zap Plate).

Let's see if I can remember to leave an open spot for any of the monthly distributions, and for the Pidgey one as well. I'll also try to finish DotW before the scavenger hunt starts >_>

Wow. It took me 43 minutes to be able to pick up my Cresselia egg. I had found it earlier, but neither mouse-clicking, nor the number grabbing worked, so I had to refresh the Lab. I WAS able to get myself a Sky Shard earlier when a Spearow hatched shiny. Only need two more Sky Shards now.

Wow that's luck there considering how long it hung around in the lab. I only summon when there's no multipliers. That being said been breeding my W. Vulipx on and off since 10'. I'm saving my cap for a shiny.

I hardly ever summon anymore on here mainly because of how many eggs are in the lab. It takes me a while to find the one I need. I have tons of summoning items stockpiled that I don't know what to use for.

I'm going somewhere later and my Mesprit's almost healed up. I remember when these things didn't take as long as they do now. I also hatched a shiny Alolan Vulpix earlier. Had to keep putting that hunt off thanks to the SWSH.

I used a few during the week since there were only 500 eggs in the lab due to no multipliers, ect. I don't think the shelter and lab cycle very well cause I notice a few eggs for some stupid reason likes to stick around more than others. Little time and more summon items keep popping up in my inventory. Don't wanna sell cause possible shiny chance...Dropped off more machop eggs for those that need them.

If they're just regular Pidgey eggs then yes.
Use a Twinkie on it when it's still an egg.

Shiny is determined once the egg is created.
So say your egg ID is shiny, then corruption won't make a difference since it's the same egg ID.

I didn't get my Shiny Rowlet last hunt, and I ended up having to hatch over 1,000 eggs for it (took me 43 days and 1,080 eggs...I thought it was NEVER going to end). So I feel your hurt with the 750+ eggs

I wasn't really able to play as actively as I wanted to because my boyfriend surprised me and came up for his spring break, and he got really upset every time I opened the site (even though I told him I was on a time limit!) Somehow I got stupidly lucky and hatched my shiny yesterday morning! Phew!

No idea what this cap is all about 'cause I haven't played anything newer than Gen 3 (haven't even completed gen 3)

I got six korechu yesterday. No shiny ones though. Got quite a few eggs hatched yesterday with what little time I had.

Making congee tonight for dinner. Trying out a recipe I found online. It has soaked brown rice, kale (I'm using a mixture of spinach, chard and baby kale), shiitake mushroom (I'm using white button, porcini and black fungus) boiled and cooked for at least an hour in veggie broth and water. I'm really looking forward to it.

Working on the bidoofo exploration now and then onto kyurem.

Probably not, the current version of the site is already mobile compatible for the most part.
I think the mobile site will eventually be discarded in favor of the main site.

I don't think the mobile site will be discarded but I don't see it going full blown development mostly because it's there for convenience instead of being the backbone of the 'game' in general.

I mostly use the mobile site too so I rarely see the events for korechu and the old man. I managed to finish another one of my shiny hunts recently, though will need to hunt again at some point so that I can get both genders for espurr. Of course I am not sure if I even want to evolve espurr since I am not as fond of the shiny forms for its evolved form.

It started snowing here today, more snow than I thought too. But shouldn't be too long until it melts again.

Well, GPX+ had a first incarnation that had to be taken down in February or so of that year when it was first launched due to bugs and issues if I recall. It wasn't until the reworked and revamped GPX+ went live again after being down for a bit did it really take off. So the dates match up for people's 8 year anniversary to line up around this time of the year.

My bermite pair have now bred four shinies. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another tynamo. I missed thirteen shinies from that pair. Finally got one from the lab. I helped someone get a shiny that took them three years to get and over 1200 eggs so that makes me happy

The opening for American gods has come out. I can't wait to see it. By judge of the trailers and cast they have done the book justice. Plus the director is great. Same guy that did Hannibal.

My favorite Minior colors are red and blue, and of course that beautiful shiny. I finally finished getting a full set yesterday. I named the standard cores after typical fruit candy flavors, named the meteor Rock Candy, and named the shiny core Funfetti. A big, happy, delicious family.

My favourite Minior colours are blue, and blue (or cyan and indigo, I guess). I used the light blue one in Moon because it was the first blue Minior I found (and they were a pain to catch then), but actually, the indigo one is nicer :/

I think I like the fact that Minior comes in so many different vibrant colours much more than I like any one of them individually.

I lost another five pounds with my vegan diet. I feel so much better now. Making stir fry tonight with no oil. Found a way to just cook the veggies in a dry pan and add a little bit of water as needed to keep them from sticking.

Got to go to the park today as well. Finally stopped raining. It had been raining for three days.

This little one could use some aspear berries please.

Well... this is what you see when you open the website, right? (Minus all the servers and friends I have.) And you can click on the GPX icon and get to a channel, can't you? Something like this? You can click on any of those names to go to a channel with people - you'll want to go to #get-flair-here first and, well, get flair.
If you can't see the GPX+ icon then you haven't actually been invited to the server yet, which might be the case, because I haven't ever seen you online...

Currently watching My Hero Academia S2, Alice and Zouroku, and FRAME ARMS GIRL.
All three are to my liking so I'm glad
I also plan on watching GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation, Twin Angel BREAK, and Re:CREATORS.
That is, once I find the time for them.

Then there's Pokémon Sun&Moon, Chi's Sweet Home 2016, Little Witch Academia, and Monster Hunter Stories Ride On.

I'm having a hard time deciding which exploration to go on, especially because my finals are looming... I'm kinda tempted to skip legendaries (since I don't really know the ones currently available) and just do Mystery Creature of the Ruins again =)

Hopefully now that I have written some cover letters, it'll be easier to write them in the future. It's difficult though to fit things in a 1-page document., takes some skill

@Rita Zyon: Yeah, making sure writing fits the parameters given can be hard. I had to write a one minute speech for an event I was invited to speak at and I had some edits to do, taking out unnecessary words, shortening sentences. I think it went well in the end, though, one of the fellow speakers made a reference to one of my points in her speech, so I'm glad at least one person paid attention to me.

My favorite Minior colour is the black shiny. From the normal colours, I think I like violet the most. I think I would like them more if the colours weren't so dull, just a little bit more saturation.

I'm kinda worried about tomorrow and taking another shot at Elite Clicker. I guess it should be easier since "I know what I'm doing" better now..? Hopefully I don't have to give people rides tomorrow like the last time I tried Elite Clicker...

But to be complete honest, I'm currently more worried about Palm Sunday. In Finland it's Virvonta day (verb: virpominen, virpoa)- When children usually dress up as Easter witches and go around the neighborhood door to door trading decorated willow branches to candy (or money). They kinda of bless you so you can be healthy and lucky for the rest of the year.

Since this is my first time living alone in a dense neighborhood with lots of kids, I'm kinda worried if I have enough candy for everyone and if I'm actually awake when they start their round. Since I might be kinda tired after Elite Clicker :___D

It has be a while since I have lived in a neighborhood were you actually get virpojia (people who come to virpoa). So I don't really know what to except :
