I like both ideas that have been presented. There are three things I really want to do when I get some time:

1. Contests.
2. Badges/Achievements
3. Breeding Services (Good idea!)

If anyone wants to contribute some ideas to setting any of these up or even donating images for advertising OR badges, I'd really appreciate it. I don't know how much I can do this weekend, because I'm completely busy all weekend. But we'll see. So just let me know if you guys have any ideas of the 3 Events.

At the moment, I'll make five badges (well, I'll just steal the achievements from gpx+) and give them to the users we currently have.

Nope, go wild. I think we'll use that anyway. If we get like 3 or 4 banners I'll make a RandImg thing at the top of the first post. But MisterGrieves can add that to his post.

I can try my hand at some badges. I'm not a super-awesome spriter, but I think I can pull something together. Also, if we set up a breeding thing, I'd be willing to do some, since I'm close to being done, though nothing pure-bred since I still lack a Ditto. >.>

Yes, once I'm done with these blasted breeding achievements, I'd also be able to take breeding requests for this group. Having a ditto, every novelty, and every non very-rare Pokemon xD

Alright, I'll make a section in the first post regarding breeding. Everyone, remember to advertise!

@Raven Kouryuu, any help on badges, be it ideas or sprites, would be greatly appreciated.

Also, just an update on my current status, I'm basically done Hoenn (except for leveling up Shelgon). That does not include item leveling Pokemon. I sort of want to save up for summoning items/fossils in the shop and, ultimately, the Lucky Egg. So I don't want to waste any points on evolution items/stones right now. I am going to be starting to breed Gulpin to get a shiny one so I can get the Pokii's Rage, Selective Hoarder, and Enough Already achievements at the same time. Afterwords, I'll get back on track with the Sinnoh dex.

And as for breeding, I can breed, I just have a limited amount I can breed.
I can breed Bulba Clones, Winter Vulpix, and Easter Buneary, [And soon Remorages]
And anything else I've collected for my collection and what not.

I know my Dex is pretty much empty but I'm going to start building it up.

And i think a breeding service would be good, when you cant find that one pokemon that just seems to be avoiding you, you can just ask a breeder to help.

I had sprites ready but I accidentally Jpeg'd them, so I might not have them until tomorrow. They're just ribbons, inspired by the Dex achievements, with two per region and two for completion. Thinking about making a Form ribbon and Novelty ribbon for people who want to go that extra mile for their Dex, since I'm starting over. If anyone else has any ideas for a badge/achievement feel free to put them out there and I'll work on those too.

Hey, a pleasant surprise. I managed to get them done again, without killing them. >.> They're nothing fancy, but I like them. Each badge has the colors from the regions' trio, with the Master/Triumphant ribbons as the exceptions, for obvious reasons. Now with 100% more pointless flavor text.

Kanto Ribbon- A badge signifying that the holder has caught one of every non-Legendary pokemon from the region of Kanto.


Kanto Master Ribbon- A badge awarded to the most dedicated Kanto fans, upon catching all the pokemon from this region.


Johto Ribbon- An award given to those who have caught one of each non-Legendary species of pokemon from the Johto region.


Johto Master Ribbon- Possession of this ribbon means that the owner has caught a specimen for every type of pokemon from Johto.


Hoenn Ribbon- This ribbon is given to people who have caught one of every non-Legendary pokemon from the Hoenn region.


Hoenn Master Ribbon- A ribbon offered as proof that a person has successfully caught one of every pokemon species in the land of Hoenn.


Sinnoh Ribbon- An award that shows that the bearer owns on of every non-Legendary pokemon from Sinnoh.


Sinnoh Master Ribbon- A badge given to those who have caught one of every pokemon from the Sinnoh region.


Master Ribbon- This awesome ribbon is awarded to those few who have successfully caught and now own one of every non-Legendary pokemon from all four regions.


Triumphant Ribbon- The best award that can be given, it is only given to those chosen few who have hunted down and have caught one of every pokemon, all 493 of them.

Thanks~ I was beginning to fret over them like I do with all my stuff. Though now I have a bunch of new things to use if we need more badge type things.

Also, if we go by the flavor text, I'm not eligible for the Johto Ribbon as I still lack an Unown.

I thought of a neat first contest, for when we get some more members (or whenever). It would be a mascot contest. Entrants would choose a pokemon that could be our mascot, with their reasoning provided, and would either make a sprite or a Dress Up for it. Whichever entry is judged as the best would be our mascot, and I'd be willing to make a badge/trophy for the winner.
