(YAY PIKACHU COLOR.) Okay so when you first saw the show Pokemon, started to watch it, liked it...well, when you were going to see the first episode, what did you think the whole story was about? i thought it was of this bunny thing stalking people xDDD But now I know its about POKEMON.....lolol nvm xDDD Okay, so why are you still reading this? Answer the question xD!

Well the first time I saw Pokémon was when I was randomly watching TV and my friend switched programs and the first thing I saw was Squirtle using Water Gun. So I tought that Ash & Co. were some sort of firemen. xD;;

I remember my brother thought everything other than the games was stupid so I decided to watch the cartoon and decide for myself. Needless to say I got hooked on it after that. Pokemon became the obsession of my childhood after that XD

I was at my baby sitter's house and saw 2 other kids playing it. I was about 5 at the time, and it was 4 PM and the show was on. I watched it, loved it, asked my parents for a gbc.

This applies to Pokemon as a whole I assume?
When I first read a magazine article about it in Nintendo Power, I was hooked. Just from that. I was already a big-time RPG and Anime fan and I loved animals and monsters... So here's Pokemon: an RPG, an Anime series, and filled with tons of different critters that you can battle with and evolve. It was like my game dream series come true. @_@ Safe to say, I bought Pokemon Blue the day it was released in Canada and watched the first episode of the Anime when it first aired on YTV... Ended up recording it and rewinding the OP multiple times just so I could learn all the lyrics >>;; --------------------  "I'm really glad I came here, you know? I've been all wrongheaded about this. The first time I ever saw Pokemon was the Pokemon Cards, so I thought it was some sort of card game. I then started watching the anime, and even though no Pokemon cards ever appeared in it, I still thought it was based on the TCG. It wasn't until years later when I bought Pokemon Silver that I discovered it was actually a video game series.

i think I was 5 or 6 when I first saw any sign of Pokemon. I saw the TV series, and sat watching Pikachu fry Team Rocket for 15 minutes before asking my parents if it'd be on next time.

well i got blue red yellow gold and silver from my parants when i was 5 i did not understand a thing about pokemon exept you walked everywhere with litle things that turned into big things then i just came hooked on it

I hadn't started from the very first episode but it was close enough. Everyone was into Pokemon when the anime started so I really already knew what it was about. :p

I was sleeping at my dads and I looked up at the tv, I saw this weird people with different color hair and weird pets. I knew about 1 minute later that, they were pokemon.
