My Favorites, I guess

Let's review...

Torterra L32 (might wanna train it there)

Sassy nature

Hp 106 excellent
Attk 84 good
Def 76 good
Sp. atk 56- might wanna train a bit there...
sp def 74 good for candice, since ice types usually have speacial moves.
Spd 40-... not so good... try giving it a quick claw or something to counter that.

Moves: Bite (replace it with crunch maybe?), Cut (facepalm.gif) (i know right? if you need it keep it) Leech Seed (will go with torterra's high hp), Earthquake (did well)
_____________________________________________________

Gengar LV35 (good)

Naive (boosts speed but lowers sp. defense)

Hp:93 (eh..good)
Atk:56 (good)
Def:54 (NEED TO RAISE!)
Sp.Atk:106 (Good)
Sp.Def:59 (Need to raise)
Spd:97 (great for candice)

Moves: Payback (eh.. good), Shadow Ball (keep it), Confuse Ray (annoying), Sucker punch (good to get some damage on ;D)
____________________________________________________

Alakazam L35 (Good)

Lonely ( raises attack, lowers defense)

Hp 89 (good)
Atk:52 (raise)
Def:35 (RAISE!)
Sp. Atk:109 (excellent)
Sp. Def: 69 (good)
Spd: 99 (most alakazams are faster in my experience.. but this'll do.)

Moves: Recover (rest if you have money to buy awakenings), Confusion (psychic), Psyocho Cut (good), Psybeam (good)

___________________________________________________

Staraptor L37 (good)

Jolly (raises speed, lowers sp.attack)

Hp: 122 (great!)

Torterra does not need any SPATTK, and if you invest in Attack in Alakazam, you're wasting its potential. Get rid of Psycho Cut on Alakazam and buy Focus Blast from the Veilstone department store.

Gen 5, please? :3

Torterra L32

Sassy nature

Hp 106
Attk 84
Def 76
Sp. atk 56
sp def 74
Spd 40

Moves: Bite Crunch, Cut (facepalm.gif) Leech Seed Wood Hammer, Earthquake

You can get Wood Hammer in the Move Relearner's house in Pastoria, that is if you have a Heart Scale. Replace Bite with Crunch, which it learns on Level 45. Cut is well.... worthy of facepalm, though you need it to progress through the game, so I'm gonna leave it.

No matter what anyone says, DO NOT, EVER, INVEST IN TORTERRA'S SPATK. What opponents wouldn't you be killing with a good EQ or a Wood Hammer, anyway? Speed also isn't Torterra's strongest stat, don't bother raising it. It has good defenses anyway.

Gengar LV35

Naive

Hp:93
Atk:56
Def:54
Sp.Atk:106
Sp.Def:59
Spd:97

Moves: Payback Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray Focus Blast, Sucker punch Dark Pulse

You might be wondering why Hypnosis is there, but with Gengar's speed, it's easy to abuse. You can get it by relearning it in Pastoria, with a Heart Scale. Shadow Ball is good STAB, Focus Blast is there for other Dark-types (you can get it in the Veilstone Dept. Store), Dark Pulse, which you can get on level 44, is merely there as filler, but the flinch rate is nice.

Don't ever teach Gengar Physical Attacks like Payback and Sucker Punch. Your wasting moveslots, and in today's metagame, there is no such thing as a Physical Sweeping Gengar.

Alakazam L35

Lonely

Hp 89
Atk:52
Def:35
Sp. Atk:109
Sp. Def: 69
Spd: 99

Moves: Recover, Confusion Psychic, Psyocho Cut Reflect, Psybeam
Focus Blast
To tell you straight, Alakazam is a not-that-good Gengar. Worse in typing, worse in ability, even he's outclassed by Starmie, who has a wonderful nature in Natural Cure. But, we're no here to tell Al he's stupid to use, right? So Recover is there for, well, recovering, replace Confusion with Psychic which it learns on level 40, Reflect is there to patch up Al's crappy defense, and help its teammates (you need a Heart Scale), Focus Blast yet again is there for Dark-types, and hits pretty hard.

Don't invest in anything else but SpAtk and Spd. Then you'll be good to go!

Staraptor L37

Jolly

Hp: 122
Attk 103
Def 69
Sp. Atk 50
Sp. Def: 43
Spd:100

Moveset: Fly Brave Bird, Steel Wing U-turn, Close Combat, Take Down Roost

If you can remove Fly, this would be better. Replace it with Brave Bird which it learns on level 49. Steel Wing is too unreliable - it misses 10% of the time (hey, don't get me wrong, but we want perfect accuracy here), has poor type coverage, and isn't worth Staraptor's moveslot. You can find U-turn in Canalave (look at Bulbapedia if you want to know how to) and it is an excellent move when you feel Staraptor needs to return, but still do it in style. Close Combat will never be out of Staraptor's moveset, but if you want, you can replace Take Down with Roost, which you can find in Route 210.

Since Staraptor's high points are his Attack and Speed, give emphasis to that, and you'll be okay.

Golem Lv 35

Lonely

Atk 93
Def 90
Sp. Atk 50
Sp. Def 54
Spd. 50

Where are his moves? Ah well, I''l suggest one:

Rock Polish, Earthquake, Explosion, Stone Edge

After one Rock Polish (you need a Heart Scale), Golem will be really fast, so take advantage of that and EQ ( learned on level 33) everything that isn't immune or resist it. If it's immune to it, use the only-a-bit unreliable Stone Edge (hey, it has nice coverage! And you can learn it on level 49). If you want to keep going with your attacking, heal up, but if you want to kill what's in front of you, Explode.

Well, his physical stats are nice...

~
Hope this helps!
