~ Introduction ~
Welcome to The Recycling Bin! every kind of art and graphic is made here, well, almost every kind. The Recycling Bin is meant to be made up of a bunch of artists that specialize in arts, graphics, sprites, avatars, banners, ect. please, do request from our hop of recycle-ness!

~ Rules And Restrictions ~
- general forum and common sense rules. please, theres always a time and place for everything.
- please dont rush us. people actually have a life outside the "box", if you know what i mean.
- each worker has their own days when their available, shown in their spoiler. if that worker is unavailable, please dont request.
- you can only request 1 thing from only 1 worker. wait for your request to be completed, and you may request again.
- the waiting list below does not have a limit.
- if you steal someone's art, im going to hunt you down and rip your soul to little edible peices.
- your request can be rejected, due to rule-breaking or rudeness.
- you must use the request form below, or your request will be rejected.
- each worker has their own spoiler, with a small pokemon icon at the top. please use that icon in your request form. the icon corresponds to the worker that you are requesting from.
- to prove that you have read the rules, please include the word "Recycle" in your request form when requesting.

Icon - (the icon of the worker that you are requesting from goes here)
Request - (what exactly are you requesting from that person?)
Details - (look in the worker's spoiler and see what it is their asking for. be specific if the worker says so)
Size - (this only applies to banners and avatars. otherwise, leave this blank)
Extra - (if the worker says you may ask for anything else, say so if you need to. otherwise, leave this blank)
??? - (insert the word here. this shows us that you have read the rules)

- all workers hve their own spoiler with their own icon.
- there is a wiaitng list for all workers. in the waiting list, an icon will show what requests are waiting for whatever worker that icon corresponds to.
- im expecting all workers to be active. please PM me and let me know if your going away for some time, otherwise, you will be removed after 5 months of inactivity.

um I already know what his work looks like and it says in his post that he's only available on the weekends. That's how I know. I only requested one thing, not 5 and I'm the only request so unless he doesn't want any requests at all (which would defeat the purpose of joining your shop) then that would make no sense. But anyway. Given that you had already edited the first post, whether completed or not, he was obviously accepted as a worker. The form isn't incorrect since there is only one and a person is to post the icon representing the desired worker (which I did) but it's your shop so it is what it is.

The thing is there are certain specifics for ordering the worker may post. The spoiler which shows this for the worker states these things.
There isn't much point in arguing with the manager on something that is trivial, it isn't like he banned you from requesting he just wants you to re post it after it was edited. If he just let it go there would be more disorder than necessary.
Posting your request doesn't cost anything, so why complain? Just post it again and get it over with. Better having to post twice than not getting what you wanted at all.

Sorry about the icon, Discarded; I didn't know how to pull up a grey Shedinja. If it's an image that's hosted off-site, maybe you should put its image code on the first post? It'd make things easier for people when they're requesting.

its fixed now. i JUST finished fixing it. i took me an hour and a half to fix it. i was stressing out like crazy! X~X T_T
ok, ill add all 3 of you guys (or girl, if any of you 3 are female) to your spoilers now.

EDIT - excuse my language, but....OH MY FUCKING GOD! DAMN IT!!! ARGH!
theres a gap between the spoilers, and i cant fix it because then ill mess everything up! T_T
its EXTREMELY weird! all the "align" tags change to "spoiler" tags and all the "spoiler" tags change to "align" tags EVERY time i try to edit the first post! T_T
but its pretty quick to fix...well...kinda. ill figure this all out tomorrow. right now, i SERIOUSLY have to get off the laptop.

terribly sorry, but you cant work here.
i was only expecting 6 people in total to work here (including me) and im quite shocked at how fast people wanted to work in my shop! O_O

a gijinka, in general, is a person dressed up as a pokemon. just go to google, images, type in Pokemon Gijinka, and hit search. youshould definately find plenty of examples.
im not going to add your request to the waitng list yet. i just want to confirm that you want a pokemon gijinka or a regular pokemon, since you didnt know what i gijinka was to begin with. please let me know, and ill add it to the waiting list.

EDIT - Luke39 wants a normal pokemon.

I hate GIMP so much...
I tried out my GIMP prgram on my College Laptop since my PC is under repair, and it has Photoshop on it.

I hate the quality but maybe you will like it.

It's okay. For some reason, my Photoshop banners suck. I'm only good with GIMP. Strange. I don't like the Render>Plasma>Overlay with fire, though. Some people say it makes fire look more like fire, but I disagree.

The main thing I like about GIMP is the way I can create realistic fire in seconds. I just draw a crude 3 colour fire looking like a 3-year old using ms Paint. then I gaussion blur and run a Render-->Clouds-->Solid Noise and overlay it.
Never heard of Plasma Overlay.
I was really stumped on this banner.
I hate using pokemon because pictures are extremely rare, I used to spend a day trying to REnder out Pokemon TCG images to use but that got tiring. and I hate a good idea for this banner but the images available weren't at all sufficient.
I prefer working on Anime Characters.

This banner was just paste the BG full of the render then gaussion blur it motion blur it and add a few effects in it such as hard light layer of white brush marks and a gaussion blurred circle in the corner for a lighting effect. Aswell as a gradient map layer (BTW Gradient maps are my crack.

xD That's what I do when I'm stumped on backgrounds. Usually I just use grunge brushes. Yea, I can see the motion blurs. I still have no idea what gradient maps are. =P

Its time to convert the non-gradient mapper .

Take a image like the one I have one with plenty of shades and lights duplicate the image ,have your foreground and background colours two contrasting colours then go to colours>maps>gradient map. It makes it shade it with the two colours you have then make the gradient map layer overlay and it effects the original image its really fun.

i find both GIMP AND Photoshop to be hard, lol! i tried them both a few times, but i just couldnt get the hang of it.
ive looked everywhere for banner tutorials using GIMP and/or Photoshop, but never found any, and if i did, then the tutorials just start off with "set copacity to *insert number here*, and render this and that, then add a layer, ect...

my god, those tutorials are made like if we already know what to do. i really hate that. >_>

(doesnt matter where the pokemon and the text goes, whatever you think is best).

Look, I finally finished it.
It's a long story, actually, I was going to do it a couple days ago, but I kept having to restart and then I gave up on it. Then I finally decided I was going to finish it today, and then I dropped my computer and it fell on my mouse and crushed the little plug thing, so now I can't use the mouse. So it took longer than it should've, but oh well.

I made two versions, I know you asked for the text the same size as the text in the other, but it looked kind of big to me, so I'll just let you choose.

The last edit to the first post was back in November of '09. None of the workers, including me, are doing and/or accepting any of these requests. Like TehCookie said, just let it die. It'll come back when Discarded comes back. Just make your own store or something for the meantime.
