.....how do you sprite?

Spriting is the term all we video gamers use and computer and video programmers use meaning exactly this:
an elf, fairy or goblin.
No! It means:
»A small bitmap image often used in animated games but also sometimes used as a synonym for icon.»

My own definition:
»A craftily put together creation of computerized pixels (beads of color used to make up picture files on an electrical device) made by spriters. A sprite usually moves and/or is animated in some way, but can be just one frame of pixels.

How we do it:
We are highly skilled artists who work with pixels. Some call us pixelators, some called us spriters. I prefer that name. For me, MS Paint is my only tool. I keep it all in a 4 GB flashdrive. To sprite for this website/shop you need to be able to do one of the jobs of spriting; And those are:
-Revamp (recoloring and magnifying old day sprites)
-Drawing (They use scanning, which I don't have)
-Recoloring (Taking the pixelated colors of one and manually putting it upon the other)
-Gijinkas AKA Cosplays (some people do it with the pokemon beside them)(trainer sprite and pokemon sprite are set together---pokemon parts and colors are transferred to the trainer sprite.)
-Avatars (usually using sprites, pokemon card pics, ect ect...)
-Banners (same as avatars. Depend on what they're about)
-Devamp (making a NOW sprite look like a BACK THEN sprite)
-Ect other ones...

thats hard. i dont have MS paint, i have regular paint.

I'm not saying it's "bad" I'm saying it isn't what I'm looking for... You must perfect spriting til you come in to this shop. But you can request!

Also, I can't help but say that JP's sprite has an uncanny resemblance to the two sprites I use to make my Rentophoon; it has the second frame HG/SS Typhlosion sprite base and what looks like a Luxray tail and Luxray colors on the back. Turn's out, he ripped off the Luxray/Typhlosion sprite you made for me to make his...expirement.

That's what I thought as well. JP, save a sprite sheet like I told you in the message. It's ok Kyara. I am fine with newbies taking my work and using it for experiments He's just starting out. And as for skyking240 accepted!!
