So, I've been attempting the Transforming the Heart exploration, and I got through the main bulk of it fairly easily, but when I got to task 9, (the one where you battle the unfezant), i started to have real difficulty. (BEGIN RANT HERE) First of all, the pokemon are wayyyy too fast, and throughout all of my pokemon of high enough level for the battle, only ONE of them was faster than the unfezant. Second of all, they have really high offensive stats (attack, sp. attack), and the combination of high offensive stats and high speed makes them VERY hard to defeat. I've tried everything I know of GPX Plus battling, and I STILL haven't been able to beat them. (RANT OVER) My suggestion is this: nerf their speed a little, and lower their offensive stats a bit, so they're a bit more possible to defeat. Post your opinion in the poll/in the topic.
EDIT: Just checked my numbers, I've taken them on SEVENTY-ONE TIMES and haven't won ONCE! I believe that's considered OP. This post has been edited by Torch: Jul 16 2013, 10:41 AM -------------------- I joined this site on July 7th, 2009. I feel old.

I've never had a problem with that battle when using a Jolteon. Jolteon's are fast, so I'd suggest making a team of them. I'm pretty sure Zebstrika's are also a fast electric type.

Like Jen suggested, those 2 electric types should be completely fine.
Alternatively, why not use a Pokémon which would make things 1/4 damage received? Essentially ANY Steel/Rock type.. I'd suggest maybe a couple of Electric types and a Bastiodon (give the Bastiodon a Leftovers) Just in-case the electric types you use get knocked out with a couple of lucky critical hits or something. -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. Pick a species, hatch a lot of that Pokemon, and take the one with the best IV/nature combination. Simple as that.

Not gonna happen. This is Pokémon Battling 101; people above have given numerous suggestions on how to prepare for the fight. Just be thankful this isn't the purposefully-hacked ??? NPC. Closing. -------------------- [align=center]add me for daily clicks [735/1000]
