• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

• May 2nd: This time traveler will find its way into your heart ~ Celebi~ 350 eggs
• May 3rd: Moltres - Winner: eevee64 - 350 eggs
• May 4th: Xerneas - Winner: Asbel Lhant - 350 eggs
• May 5th: Meloetta - Winner: Luneon - 350 eggs
• May 6th: Found in a tropical environment, this Pokémon enjoys the light from the moon ~ Valencian Oddish ~ 350 eggs

Well, somehow or another, it's May. This is so weird. So, so weird. How is it almost the middle of the year already? @ Synx: I think the only time I've ever finished a handheld Pokedex was Yellow? Even with having both primary games in each generation. {As well as the third if/when they were released.} And like whoever it was commented in April's thread, I'm nowhere NEAR needing trades to complete ORAS.

@ Shadow Fennekin: I was thinking Celebi and Cresselia. But then I saw that Celebi is a monthly exploration, so now I'm not certain.

It is hard to believe it's already May. I'm doing Tour of Illusions right now and I think I may do the Celebi one later. I also have my Mother's Day gift all prepared, even though it's next week. I was happy the second part of it came in the mail yesterday as I was getting a bit worried.

Glad people liked the Xerneas I picked. I always wanted to go with Xerneas if I ever won the raffle(if it wasn't picked before that is). Not sure what I'll be going for, I have plenty of time to decide. I'll probably go with Xerneas though, try to get double the chance at a shiny .

Started Tour of Illusions and now I am sitting here waiting for another 45 minutes or so until the VS Seeker is ready. I'm just going to hope my Lucario wins otherwise this is going to be annoying. No matter the outcome I'll be going to bed.

Hello to everyone, I am somebody who found her way to this website six days ago, after a 3 year if not more absence. I just completed a shiny hunt that was started at 11/11, I guess it's telling how "old" here I am.

I have to say, I'm loving how you guys improved over this time. The website isn't THAT different from when I left, but everything is a better here and there (buttons 1-5 in berry feeder, for instance). And there are sooo many new pokemon I have to catch - still have to discover how to get those I didn't randomly catch in the shelter, and what to do with some of the items I got (like those regional flags...). But at least for now, it brings me that joy I had when I just joined this website in 2009. Really looking forward for this month of May as my first one being back.

Okay so this is a funny coincidence. My birthday happens to be fire chicken day (is it too much to hope for a naked chicken?), and my daughter's birthday is also the 20th! I think my site anniversary is sometime towards the end of this month too, and my sister-in-law's birthday is the 15th. Ugh.

Well it's May now, although I don't really care until Tuesday when my exams are finished. Then I'm freeeee... apart from that I need a summer job. ._.
I forgot about Fates this month, I'd love to nab a special edition if I can. Maybe if I get that job fast enough :p I'm still looking forward to seeing Captain America this month too, when I get the chance to.

The last trinket set is this month, too ;_;7 I have a bunch of pending trinkets so I hope most of 'em go in. I'll probably try to get firebird as my egg, but I got nothing last month

Oh wow, babysitting isn't that hard, after all. Victini's one of my favorite legends (so cute and all).
I hope to get Xerneas out of the egg distribution.

Also, I hatched shiny Sandile before I managed to get a good IVs and nature one. x< I guess I'll have to start another Sandile shiny hunt.

Weather is getting better, yay! I plan on going to a bbq tmrw and I'm excited (I miss drinking cold beer on a nice evening).

I went ahead and bought a LVP and summoned a Landorus. That way, if everything goes according to plans, I'll get a complete Dex (aside from Arceus [Normal]) on May 4th.

Also, I'm betting on Celebi and Valencian Oddish. "Vileplume was one of the many alternately colored Pokémon that lived near Professor Ivy's lab. In Poké Ball Peril, a group of Vileplume went out in the night to bask in the moonlight." @ Bulbapedia, refering what in GPX+ is Valencian Vileplume.

Well I just woke up, whoops XD. I got woken up at 9 by my parents rudely banging around in the kitchen. I checked on Zoroark to see where it was and don't remember falling back asleep. Woke up 3 hours later .

Finished the exploration and picked Raikou this time. I know its a slim chance of hatching shiny, but I can dream. Not sure if I'll go after the Musketeers now or go after Victini instead. I can't decide .

I don't know which of the distribution Pokemon I'm going for. I'm still intrigued by the first one.

I haven't really thought about working on my living dex. I only have a couple of the games so I'm not sure how I would in the first place.

Regarding Living Dex on main series games, I don't have one although I've a complete National Dex on Y. I'll probably invest on that when the new games get released.

Well I decided to go do the Victini exploration and I just finished it. I was originally going to go after one of the Musketeers, but then I remembered there was a berry feeding task. I'm glad I went with Victini, the fog would have drove me bonkers. This was the fastest time I've done that exploration, took me 53 mins, 57 secs to finish the exploration. Got a decent amount of clicking done today too, now if only I can finish a few shiny hunts.

My day isn't going too bad so far, other than waking up at noon. I've been hatching eggs in Y for a shiny Litleo, I gathered 6 boxes last night before I went to sleep. I'm already half way through my 4th box, looking doubtful that I'll get a shiny though.

Can't wait until supper, family decided yesterday that we were going to have a turkey supper. My house smells like turkey and it is amazing.

Despite being British, I actually prefer Elementary much more than Sherlock, which is basically the New York version. Jonny Lee Miller is a much more convincing Holmes and still has the same present-day aspects that the Sherlock series. For me, Cumberbatch has the same problem as Robert Downey Jr - they can talk fast but it becomes a mumbled mess it's hard to work out what they're saying.

On the flip side, I'm really looking forward to Zoolander 2 (if it hasn't been released already). I was pleasantly surprised how good the first one was.

I was finally able to catch Azelf on Shuffle. It cost me a lot to get it though, but I'm glad I got it over with. I'm also thinking about purchasing some more jewels for this month because the effect ran out yesterday.

I decided to do Celebi again because I haven't done it in almost a year so please give Celebi a Cheri berry?

Wooo May! My birthday month! Will finally be old enough to get a driver's license, but it'll probably be a while before I actually try to get that.

Last trinket set? Aww, well that's kinda disappointing, but completely understandable. Wish I would have sent in more trinkets I've made (and I still had a crap ton of ideas for trinkets, but they'll still be fun to sprite). At least my goal of collecting all of them seems more plausible now.

For the explorations, most likely will do the Celebi one, and not sure about which one I would do next (though it all depends if I actually get around to them).

Then for the egg distribution, if the first one is Celebi, then it's kinda tempting, but I will most likely go for Xerneas.

And I not happy about the weather warming up. I like it colder. At least school will be ending soon, so there's that.

I finally gave up on SRing for Cresselia for now. I'm gonna go ahead and try to get the shiny charm, but I have quite a ways to go.
Hopefully I can stay motivated and actually get it done.

Yeah, I'm also going for the shiny charm too. I just figured the easiest way to keep track of my Pokedex completion was to make a living dex, so everything you see missing is also missing in my Pokedex (except one or two, I believe). But yeah, I'll gladly take some baby Pokemon.

I'm finally going to finish DotW again. Only have a little over 6K interactions left. It took me too long so I didn't get to do any of the special explorations last month, but I'm glad I'll be able to this time.

On the flipside, it's starting to cool down here. I love the cold so I'm happy ^^ Been around 20-22ºc, and cooling down nicely at night. I like sleeping with an unnecessary number of blankets on my bed, so bring on Winter!

Has anyone been playing Mini Mario and Friends Amiibo Challenge? It's pretty amusing. Though I think it would be a lot better if you had all of the Mario series amiibos to get the most out of the game. I've only got Yoshi and Bowser, so there's not going to be many extra stages and stuff I can unlock. But still, it not a bad game to play for 20mins to kill some time ^^

Do I look weird if I say that I never watch game of thrones yet? I'm scared because of some scenes that are a bit "inappropriate". I don't like to watch some stories always cut by too much long action scenes or sex scenes...

I approve it in all. Well, maybe I didn't see enough the relationship between holmes and watson in elementary because I'm a bit fed up about the inevitable crime scene part. The idea to make watson a woman is a great idea because it doesn't spoil the fond of the character. Watson is a kind and smart person, and can be a man or a woman. Lucy Liu is also great.

Haha I see a non-moffat and I approve that too xD He did the same with Doctor Who for me and I'm so glad he quits. I can't stand his choices of changing and acting like he did, the doctor became like the companion of the companion for severals episodes; but I thought it was not that bad on Sherlock because Gatiss is here to stop a bit this megalomaniac tendencies; Gatiss read and grow up with the books. It's true that Irene is not as important as she is in the books and this is a pity.

Funny because I had the same thing with GoT. My creepy ex-boyfriend wanted to watch it with the walking dead and I think about a creepy spirit about this. He had really weird tastes I should seen it before.

Hey All!

I've been away for a while dealing with some real life stress and let me just say... it doesn't do much for the wrinkles or for tired eyes. *small smirk* With the start of a new week (especially one where the boss isn't coming in all week long) though, and finally (I think) working through things with my youngest... I'm ready to try and be sociable again. So... hello *waves sheepishly*

Looks like today is a good day to try and keep a party slot open if you love mysteries. Not sure if the Pokemon today and Friday have been figured out... but I'm brimming with curiosity (as always). I also wanted to congratulate this month's prize winners: Eevee64, Asbel Lhant, and Luneon. Kudos to our talkers and interacters from last month. I do love the choices you all chose so, if I don't get today... I'm tempted to let fate play out and leave a spot open. I think I know what Friday's will be, so yeah, I foresee me keeping a spot open all week until, and unless, I get lucky and am rewarded with an event egg. We'll see. We'll see.

I'm finishing up the Ditto explore now and just waiting for a "handful" of randomness to toss berries at my purple blob. Since he doesn't seem to need anything specific, I won't add his pretty picture here and just hope for the best. Once that is done I have decided to work on the following special explorations because of the four available, the other two I've completed 5 times and these two only 4 times. And those explores would be... Tour of Illusions and A Trio of Trials. Since I've done them both 4 times, I guess I'll probably just vie for the first option and work on those explores until a shiny happens by me. Which, I highly doubt, will be this month. My legendary shiny luck is kind of nil to none. LOL But no time like the present to start hoping to change that, right?

I guess the only other thing I know that is going on Pokemon wise is my youngest told me about the in-game Zygarde Pokemon giveaway. So I have to STOP playing my Yellow game so I can look into getting that for as many of my other games as I can. After laundry tonight, I think that's a plan. Hopefully it wasn't just a weekend thing I missed (she told me about it on Saturday and I so hope that it didn't end that night.... *eek*!)

Hope you all are doing well and that this week will be far better than last week. Here's hoping. Right?

Mark Gatiss is about the only one I like in the whole series and Lestrade looks like an old boss of mine...who ironically was just as clueless as him XD

The thing I love so much about Elementary is the relationship with Holmes and Watson without the romance. It was probably so tempting to make it happen, but the writers and the actors got it down to a t to show it's a duo and one is no better than the other.

In respect of "there's another body" or "it's a new person on screen - they're either going to die, find a dead person or find a body part", it can get a bit predictable. The cases themselves are always very interesting, but I can see why it can be repetitive. They do try and break it up a bit with certain aspects of humour, and sometimes they can be worth it.

I'd like to get into GoT, but you know, gore...

Oh my days, thank you for letting us know about the events! I would have definitely missed out. Now to make sure I don't miss out on the other two x:

Orenji: I totally forgot to stress how much I love the lack of romance because I forgot that, as best friends, that could even be a thing. There's no room for them spontaneously hooking up, which is so so nice because that door is entirely closed - and the show is much better for the lack of romantic chemistry (which I agree must have been tempting to the writers at some point.)

Coupling, one of Moffat's earlier shows, is still my go-to when I need something to have on in the background, and I do love some parts of it, but the more I re-watch the show, the more obviously sexist it is. When you've watched the jokes so many times, the humor and the laugh track stop hiding just how warped his views on gender really are. (Men are sex-obsessed idiots who can't form opinions on fabric, women are man-obsessed and manipulative and irrationally upset a lot of the time.) While I would easily bet that it was their intention, the show does a very good job of showing how not communicating can make a relationship horrible. It's a sit-com but everyone behaves in such damaging ways. It's funny, but if you read into it at all it becomes frustrating because they don't ever learn to do any better and it seems like everyone is just settling because they're afraid to be alone. Maybe it's my own issues making the damaging behaviors more obvious, but I do wonder if Moffat has ever interacted with any actual women, to have such distorted views of them. Though given how he seems to perceive men, I wonder if he's met many of those as well - and that's staying within the binary because I am terrified to think of how he might try and write anyone who didn't fit into the two already broad categories he's already attempted...

I've loved Rupert Graves since I first saw him in Different For Girls. He doesn't get nearly the same chance to shine in Sherlock and that's a bit sad to me.

Speaking of Elementary... I used to be an avid watcher of the show. Not quite sure what happened, but I found myself tempted to watch last night's episode. My only hangup? Coming in after so much time has elapsed and I'm not sure what happened to bring our two main characters to where they are today. I'm glad that they're still working together and the show hasn't gone all "he's a guy... she's a girl... it's inevitable." What a refreshing change! I am currently watching (re) the X-Files (through Netflix) and can feel the vibe of them wanting to push Mulder and Scully together. I think they came close a couple of times (and some of the fans even wanted it to happen), but if I recall correctly they never did and it made the relationship that much more complex and (imo) believable. Men and women can work closely together without having to... you know.

I've never watched Sherlock on the BBC though. My daughter has and says it is a wonderful show I should really watch. Did Moffat write for that, like he did for the Doctor? Wow! Now I might have to watch it! LOL

I am trying to nudge my eldest back into GoT and, if she holds out much longer, then I'm going to watch all seasons (we now own season 5) through a binge-a-thon one very soon weekend coming up. I hate not knowing what happened in season 5 and love having seen the HBO commercials (on regular cable, of course) that show Tyrion, at least, is still with us. I just hope someone who does watch it can confirm that Jon Snow is with us still, too. I've heard ugly rumors and it'll just tick me off beyond measure if he's gone, too.

As for Robert Downey Jr., I actually like him. As an actor. I haven't seen the new Captain America movie [yet], but, much like the Batman v Superman movie (which I also haven't seen yet), I'm unsettled that Iron Man is at odds with Captain America. I'm hoping its all a misunderstanding that gets resolved and they team up together again. I'm going to be missing Thor in this movie though. Aren't I? *sigh*

I hate not knowing what happened in season 5 and love having seen the HBO commercials (on regular cable, of course) that show Tyrion, at least, is still with us. I just hope someone who does watch it can confirm that Jon Snow is with us still, too. I've heard ugly rumors and it'll just tick me off beyond measure if he's gone, too.

im almost done with my first year of college (community college, at least). i have finals next week, though the classes im taking really don't do them. we don't have a final in astronomy, and in my english class we're doing a final essay. we have a group project in anthropology class but that's about it. soooo ready for summer though

I'm slightly annoyed because I wanted Darkrai since this month is my birthday month(even though I already have a Darkrai ingame), and we went to GameStop on Saturday after the Ratchet and Clank movie when if we went Sunday we could have gotten a code. Haven't posted on here in a while.

Just bought FE Fates yesterday and I like it pretty well. Only other FE game I played in the past was FE7, which was obviously a bit older, but its still pretty fun. I picked Birthright because I'm a noob (and I've already gotten 2 characters killed so its a good thing I chose the easier version )

Hopefully my GameStop will be able to give me a # of the Darkrai cards for me. One for each of us playing (3) and then some extra for my other games it will work with. Because... yeah. I'm so happy about the shiny Yveltal distribution. I've always wanted one for my games.

Probably tomorrow or so, I'm going to go pick up some Darkrai codes. We have several Gamestops within a 5 mile radius, so there are always tons of extra codes. They usually ask me how many I want. I'll probably pick up some extras, and if I have some left over, perhaps I'll hook someone up in here.

I see that people are happy about summer. Not me. I hate the heat, and our summers are both brutally hot and humid. I'd like for it to be 45-60 degrees year-round, thank you very much. Even colder would be more than fine. Also overcast, not sunny.

(The Celsius system just doesn't appeal to me. It seems like there's not enough of a range to describe the temperature, so I'd rather that we here in the US do not adopt it...)

My GameStop said that they were only allowed to give out 2 codes per person. When I asked, in a hushed whisper, if I could come back tomorrow for two more, he was like... well, you are here often enough... so that was how I left with 5. The first time he was only going to give me 2, and I was like "well, that will leave my girls arguing with each other, so I guess I get them both." *insert evil smirk* So then he gave me 3. I asked how many games Darkrai was good for and he's good for all 4 recent ones. That was when he relented and gave me 2 more. So I need, at minimum, one more and the girls will just have to pick and choose which game to call Darkrai to.

I can pass by another one on my way home from work tomorrow, and that's where I plan to go. Then I'll probably go back to mine on the weekend when, I hope, the really nice clerk knows me and usually gives me 4 or 5 codes without blinking. From him I could probably get more, if they have them.

Sorry to hear you were feeling down, Shaoo. I know the feeling. Last week was a horrid week. I hope things turns around for you. It sounds like they might have so I hope that's the case.

Okay. So I know for a fact that the George Washington Family portrait painted by Edward Savage has featured in another book that the one I'm currently reading, Steve Berry's The Patriot Threat. I can recall the character's mentioning that the fact that the people in the painting were connected but at the same time DISconnected, since George Washington was touching his stepgrandchild's shoulder who, in turn, was touching a globe while no one was looking at each other? I can't recall the exact wording of the statement, however.

Does anyone happen to know the other book that might have been in?

This whole "this is what people think is hot" is exactly why I'm glad we don't use Fahrenheit.^^; Really, 100? That's not hot, that's "Manah is dead now and water won't help". With Celsius, it seems like it's easier to apply it to your individual heat-cold range.

While it does make sense, that way it would be more of a case of perspective and being used to. It's very rare for the weather here to reach such high temperatures, but if I were to associate 100F with 37ºC (which again, in terms of scale, makes sense and it's plausible where I live), I would associate 0F with being relatively low temperatures. The problem is that 0F corresponds to -17ºC, with is absurdly way too cold for where I live (for the record, the lowest that we've ever had was -16 °C in 1945 and 1954 and the highest was 47ºC in 2003).

I'm not sure what I'm doing for Mother's Day. I did mention I have my mom's present all bought and I just need to wrap it or something. Usually we go eat at my grandmother's house and the night before we all have steaks, which we don't eat all that much outside of special occasions.

Man, I love avocados. I had a big, delicious salad yesterday with avocados, black beans, roasted corn, chicken, and some other delicious things (from Red Robin, if anyone is familiar). I should totally stock up on that stuff to make it at home.

Regarding Mother's Day, we're not doing much. Probably getting flowers for my mom as well as the bubble bath and stuff that I already got her.

I always pick the grass starters for some reason xD Also curious about what the Legendary pokemon are gonna be and what they're gonna represent -- like Xerneas and Yveltal represent life and death. Maybe Magearna will represent man-made stuff and another Legendary will represent nature? ...Actually, they've already used nature a lot. Honestly got no idea. xD

I'd -adore- it if there was a grass-type legendary as a main legendary! I mean, I love Celebi and Shaymin, they're adorable -- but think of the possibilities-! I mean what if it was tree-based, kind of like an ent -- or maybe based on a forest animal like a wolf or a fox or a deer, or maybe something like a pine marten or a mink? Or they could come up with an entirely original design. Maybe a dual type? Like grass/fairy or grass/flying.. hmm... Getting way too excited xD Just gonna have to wait 'til summer to see.

When choosing my starters, I usually go for the one that looks the neatest. Thankfully Delphox (XY) and Sceptile (ORAS) have been helpful throughout the time I played the game.

I was hatching Eevees for the Poke Hunt and ended up getting a shiny one with 140 IVs, so I went ahead and evolved it into Glaceon even though I have one already, so that pretty much guarantees that I'll end up getting rank 1.

Got a 142IV Glaceon put into the Poke Hunt. He hatched with 136IVs so I boosted him up with vitamins. I'll still be searching for a better one just in case but I think I'm good.

For the legendary bird codes, I'm pretty sure that they are stacking them as to not overload the servers. I had a ton of issues trying to redeem my codes earlier today, I couldn't imagine what it would be like if they gave the codes all at once.

My Celebi from the distribution didn't hatch shiny like I had hoped. I really doubt I'll ever get the shiny from these distributions, my luck for legends here is terrible. One day I'll get one!

Trinket+ is now maxed, woo.

I'm looking forward to Sun/Moon. I thought 6th Gen was absolutely wonderful (X/Y are probably my favorite Pokémon games, and I really enjoyed ORAS), especially considering how massively disappointed I was with 5th Gen (though I liked the gameplay as usual). Therefore, I'm having high hopes that 7th Gen will push on with great Pokémon designs, cool environments, great music, and hopefully a continuation of some awesome features like DexNav. Seriously, I love DexNav.

I was always one of the people who wanted a Light type, but I think Fairy fulfills that role pretty well. Honestly, I think we could do without more types. >_> But that's just me.

Regarding a Normal Legendary, I could get behind that, though to me, I always see Legendaries as having some cool element. Still, there is Arceus, so it certainly can be done well. A really beautiful Grass type would be amazing; my thought was perhaps an Easten-style dragon.

Getting back into pokemon by continuing my hunt for the elusive nincada in Omega Ruby. I was working on my national dex but got bored so went to something tedious instead. Catching every single nincada i find unless it kills its self with final gambit. then once i fill all my boxes i will send them off for the entire world to enjoy~ nincada is my god... maybe ill do it on sunday as my church. the nincada chapel. Im not obsessed with nincada... just the fact i want my room covered in nincada stuff... i really want a army of nincada plushes.


Oh right. Ill be back while im on my pokemon hype too clicks for everyone~ Nice to see y'all again.

There's already a -lot- of types in Pokemon, though a light type would be interesting, maybe if it replaced psychic or fairy? Fairy never made much sense to me... I mean, there's fire types, water types, dragon types, grass types, etc, all pretty straightforward -- and then suddenly "fairy." I don't hate it, but I just don't get it xD If they do add light, maybe it could have a bunch of healing moves. Light always just seemed like an element that focused on healing to me.
A sun-based and moon-based duo would be interesting... Maybe representing the yin and yang and all that? Still crossing my fingers for a grass type though. And there hasn't been a poison-type legendary yet... hoping to see a poison type too, even if it's just part of a trio or a "baby" Legendary. And since we're talking about celestial stuff here, maybe one of sun/moon legendaries (if there are any) could have a move that essentially creates a mini-black hole? ...I'm obsessed with black holes, I'm sorry xD

Neither of the Celebis I got were shiny. I have a shiny Latios, Giratina and Heatran, one of those I hatched myself. I don't summon stuff all that much, but maybe if I can't figure out what to shiny hunt next, I can use up all those items I collected and never used yet.

I love this phase of anticipation and rumors - I hope we'll get a bit of info from time to time to talk about, I'm looking forward to the Sun and Moon games! As for legendaries I'm hoping for... I don't know. A Poison-type legendary does sound cool. Maybe I can finally get to terms with the Poison-type, then. Somehow, I just don't have them in my team and I panic when encountering strong ones with trainers haha~ Yet... it has gotten a bit better now that I've started to dive into the Battle Tower (and thus, had to look into types again).

I've had some shiny luck in my Omega Ruby game. I've been doing some hatching since I obtained my Shiny Charm.
A couple of days ago, I found a shiny Abra and this morning - a shiny Gible! \o/

Yeah, I think that if any new typing is added, they WON'T remove one of the old ones. That being said, I don't know if we really need a new Type or two. I say two because it would keep them even. I don't know what kind of Legendary I would like to see in the new games.

So, I just switched my Glaceon out. Currently have a 136 IV male entered. Would he potentially need vitamins to get Rank 1, or is he fine as is?

Something I've noticed, I'm really confused about.. I used to have a Shiny Sharpedo.. it's vanished, but not popped up on my released list.. definitely not in a box. Anyone able to shed any light on where it is?

I think I finally found a decent Pokemon for the Hunt this week. I'm not real happy with its IVs, but I do think it'll place, at the very least. Bergie (Bergmite) with IVs at 135. I might be able to up that to 140, if not 141. I'm thinking that might be the best I can do. But! I'm still going to scavenge and forage for someone better. It's going to be hard to beat the Avalugg I have on file though. 146 IVs. Still, I keep looking and maybe luck will come my way. I'm just 3 silly points shy of 1,000 prize points. So yeah. Placing is a big deal for me this week.

In regards to the current discussions about hopeful new legendaries... I'm definitely liking the idea of a poisoned legendary. That sounds like an awesome one for sure! Are in game legendaries strong battlers though, I wonder? I know their IVs on GPX are, to say the least, usually pitiful. I've never noticed if that's the case in the games though. Are they tough... out in the "real" world?

I would personally like to see a Poison- or part Poison-type legendary and also a Dark-type gym leader, because I don't think there ever was one. Plus I want the last Gym leader to be something like Bug or Grass or any of those types that was always within the first couple of gyms. I'm also hoping Solrock and Lunatone get mega evolutions, but we don't know yet whether or not there will be new ones added.

Well I got a better Eevee for the Poke Hunt. Hatched a male Eevee with 141IVs. I used a few vitamins so now he's sitting pretty at 147. Not going to bother getting any more Eevee eggs, going to focus on my shiny hunts.

On the topic of light type and the new legendaries, I think it would be cool to get a Light/Flying type for the Sun legendary (since, y'know, gas and all. Flying is as close to an Air type as it gets) and a Dark/Rock type for Moon. Then Light would be effective against Dark and Rock against Flying and... yes. I want some Legendaries that can cancel each other out properly so they're actually equals (I'm looking at you, Palkia and Dialga! whyispalkiasoweak.png).

EDIT: With current types, I guess it could be Fire/Psychic and Ice/Dark or something. Actually, both those combos sound really cool...

I'm guessing if that were the case, they would have to give all their Pokemon dual types, and not the kind that'll give them a x4 weakness. We did have a Bug-type Elite Four member though, but he looks pretty easy to beat regardless.

The only shiny legendaries I have in my games are event ones like Entei, Raikou, Suicune, and probably some others. I never bothered SRing for any. I mean, I tried SRing in general for things like fossils, but I just do not have the patience. If only soft resetting were even faster than it is now.

I wouldn't mind seeing more Electric-type legendaries, myself. I'm sure there's a fair number of them, but maybe one that's part Fire or something as the only Pokémon like that right now is... Rotom.

To be honest, the legendary type I want to see is Dragon/Fairy... mainly because I'm curious as to how GF would design one. If Light type came into the fray, I'd love a Light/Dark, Dragon/Light, or... Light/Grass. That last one for seeing how they'd design it.

39 total IVs: 16 HP, 2 ATK, 15 DEF, 2 SATK, 2 DEF, 2 SDEF, and 2 SPD. That's one of my lowest ever. The lowest one I still have is a 27 IV Pokii, which will eventually be released into the wild. After it goes Underground first.

Still haven't gotten the HA Bird Trio codes yet.

To fill my dex in AS, I had to catch a Linoone. So after I caught one, I was thinking of a name for it- then a pun came into my head.
I named it "9 in the Aft".
And when you put it with its Pokemon name, it's "9 in the Aft Linoone".

Idk, I was really amused by it.

So I had an Eevee all hatched and pretty, was gonna use her for the Pokemhunt. IVs were terrible, but I mostly want the Pikachu Dress up, not many items left I want. (Saltwater, maybe) I also had 4 Beldums hatched, none of which were Shiny. So I hit the Relase button, clicked on the 4 Beldum, it asked me if that was right, I said Yes. Then it asked me if I was sure, I said yes, and then it stuffed ALL 5 Pokemon into the shelter, including my Eevee!!

I don't expect it back now. but I sm LIVID. I did NOT click on the Eevee, it must have ghosted the click for "Yes, Release" onto her as well somehow. I explicitly looked at that first

I get logged out like that all the time but I can always log right back in. I think on mobile only I have the problem of logging in and it just refreshing the login page for me, even though I'm logged in now, instead of going to he main page, but that isn't anything serious.

In regards to the Pokehunt, I hatched a male Eevee with 141 IVs while shiny hunting, so I went ahead and evolved it and shoved it in there. I'm pretty sure that'll place rank 1 won't it?

Regarding shinies in DS pokemon games I actually got alot of legit ones.

When I got the Shiny Charm I decided to hatch some shiny pokemons I wanted, I ended up with: shiny Honedge, 3 shiny Gastly's, 4 shiny Froakies, shiny Goomy, shiny Sandile etc. I ended up with 1½ box full.

I Sofresetted myself a shiny Giratina in pokemon Platinum, after 400 or so Soft Resets. Its still stuck there since I dont have PokeBank.

Edit: I caught a Shiny Gligar and Weepingbell through Horde Encounter.

I once tried to chain a ralts in ORAS, the chain became so high that the game stopped counting. Eventually I had to stop and no ralts, I progressed the story and accidentally encountered a Shiny Swably. Its a gorgious Shiny Altaria now.

Before 6th Gen, I only ever caught one shiny (minus Red Gyarados), and that was a Chansey in my Silver version. Now, my Poké Bank has almost an entire box of them. Some, however, I actually got in trades for a bunch of female Treecko.

That leads me to what I'm actually hunting, and... it's Treecko in my Omega Ruby version. I'm using the Masuda method, but it's not bringing me results yet. Guess I have to hatch even more eggs. At least it's something I can do without much concentration.

I haven't used the Mobile Walker lately, so I can't comment on the geolocation issue. I'll check it out with several OSes and see if that makes a difference.

Shiny Charm can be obtained when you complete your entire pokedex (without the methical pokemons), its way easier now with wondertrade and such.

Ill try to re-use my mobile walker and see if it still functions, it worked for me yesterday. Would be odd if it doesnt work anymore now.

Edit: Might be a while before I actually get it to prime stage since I use my mobile walker alot for storage, so I rarely prime it and whatnot.

And I've been having the geolocation problem too. I used my phone to finish leveling up the Pokemon in there and put them away so I don't have to deal with that little notification on the mobile walker just taunting me while I can do nothing to it.

On the shinnies topic: I didn't catch any until X (aside from the Gyarados, which I got two of). With event shinnies, I have DialgaX2, PalkiaX2, GiratinaX2, Gengar, Metagross, and Rayquaza. I got a shiny Tentacool from a friend (now a Tentacruel). Then the ones I've caught: Lapras (accidentally found it in a friend safari, and was my very first shiny other than events and Gyarados), Dedenne (hunting it in a friend safari), Bellossom (was an Oddish, and was completely random), two Feebas (both male, looking for a female), and a Milotic (the female I finally found).

My Zergoose pair are being good for eggs tonight, that's the second time in a row that they produced two Zergoose eggs. They rarely give me double Zergoose eggs, I usually get one or none at all. Now if one of these silly things would shine I'd be one happy camper.

Well I'm tired, I got home around 10 pm tonight. My leg was aching the whole day, it hurts to walk on. I don't think I sprained anything though, guess my arthritis is being quite vicious today. I'm not quite sure why, I guess the weather is making it act up. At least I have the day off tomorrow.

The shiny charm is definitely worth getting, though sometimes it can be a bit picky. I remember trying to get my first shiny back in White 2, it took me over 5 months of shiny hunting before I got my shiny Magby with it . It was the worst shiny charm hunt I've had. Shortly after that hunt I found a shiny Magnemite after 8 encounters .

So, I got the Meloetta egg today. And while attempting to level up my Level 1 Flame Zorua so that it might potentially breed with it's level 100 evolution, my shiny Winter Vulpix caught Pokerus. So, I'll probably keep it in my Party until it's cured naturally, so if anyone wants to attempt to catch it, have at it.

When I got home from work, I hatched a 142 IV Eevee, so I evolved it and switched it into the weekly hunt.

Still have not gotten the HA bird trio codes yet.But I'll see what happens in a day or so.

It's available in all games since BW2.

Jeez Louise. I have to get out from under this rock I've been living in! I take it that it isn't game transferable though... like an item you can give to a Pokemon to hold and then bring them into another game? Or... is it?

Well I just got the last shard I needed, so that means I now have all the plates forged! Now all I need is to work on DotW a bunch of times so I can have that out the way.

I don't remember exactly how many shiny Pokemon I have on XY, but I think I remember the first one I ever caught was a Whiscash while chain fishing. I also got a Gyarados, Clawitzer and a Luvdisc that way, but those are the only ones I know off the top of my head. As for hordes, I got a Swablu and a Murkrow from those.
