The Fighting Fogeys

The sun hung lazily in the sky over Fidona, filtering through the thick forest canopy of leaves. Jon had started to make his way straight back to the port town after the disbanding of his previous group. Everyone had started to split and he decided to get off of the island as soon as possible.

The path ahead of him was a simple dirt trail that cut a somewhat winding trail through the forests. Signs of pokemon life could be seen all around the area, from broken branches to dusty footprints. It reminded him of his travels in the Eternia forest, which then led Jon to start daydreaming as he trudged along the trail.

"I wonder if that old house is still there?" Jon thought out loud, his voice drifting off to the sound of rustling leaves, "I should go look around some time..."

Some time passed as he trudged along the path. As he grew closer to the main road to the port the trail started to gradually increase in quality, Switching from dirt to a cobbled path. He was soon enough overlooking the port town.

The hustle and bustle of the town was welcoming to Jon, all the time in the subtle silence of the forest started to grow on him. Large groups of people were moving through the streets. Sailors, families, trainers, and even a few rangers passed Jon.

"Hmm, I've never seen a ranger up close before." Jon thought to himself, eyeing the uniforms with a curious eye. Two of them had Hoenn written on their back in dark red letters while a third had Kanto in dark green letters.

Jon continued to move through the mobs, ticket held tightly in his hand, stopping every once and a while to look at the occasional pokemon battle that took place in the streets. None of them were too amazing, common pokemon and common battles. Everyone once and a while there would be a unique pokemon though one battle had caught his eye.

A large purple beast of a pokemon could be seen moving, the ground around it giving a small shake with every step. It was a Nidoking, though something about it was unique, it had a barely visible scar along its arm that would require someone to know about it previously to have a chance of noticing it.

"Hmm…can’t be."

The sunlight was at least warming, one good thing about the events of today. Not that there were many bad events as such. Really it had all turned out better than she could of hoped for but still, Kuri had to sigh as she saw the port town come into view once more. She guessed she had been expecting a bit more from the journey, though what that could have been she couldn't begin to place. She'd seen how other trainers behave and even managed to catch herself a pokémon in the cave they visited. No, she was probably just thinking too much on things, she'd come here expecting to meet her brother again after these two years and he wasn't here, which would explain her preoccupation with getting back to the mainland to see him.

It surprised her short the trip back to the town was considering the time they had spent travelling in the forest, again though she put that down to wanting to get back sooner rather than later. The sooner she was back at the port the sooner she could book herself on another boat and get back to the mainland. She had even put Luka back in his pokéball so she could make good time.

The port seemed a little more daunting than when she had first arrived, perhaps because she hadn't been around long before leaving for the quieter forest. It didn't take her long at all to miss the peace, the large crowds of people still making her uneasy. She'd never had to deal with being around many strangers before she had started off on this journey and it really wasn't getting any easier at a noticeable pace.

As much as she wanted to be on a boat and off this island she still slowed her pace as she entered town, the sight of scattered pokémon battles drawing her eye. She always enjoyed seeing what pokémon others had, the chance to catch a glimpse of an exotic one was too good to pass up.

Weaving carefully through the crowds of gathered people she finally ended up at the front of the crowd that had formed around one particular battle. The large purple Nidoking was certainly an impressive sight and had rightly garnered more attention than the other battles. Kuri watched the large beast with awe, not having seen such a large pokémon up close before, or at least not one she had to worry about like that onix her last group had dealt with in that cave.

Dream Party

Koryu walked off from his former party. He wasn't quite interested in where the group was going so he decided to branch off. Chiki danced along through the woods while Kyo walked alongside Koryu, ignoring the pokemon in front of him. While walking, Koryu saw another person walking through the woods. After a closer look he noticed it was someone from his former party. Koryu smiled and told his other pokemon, "No harm in stalking someone for a while. Besides, there's no place else for us to head toward."

Koryu crept behind him through the woods. Koryu noticed some wild venonat and caterpie playing nearby and laughed. Kakyoku quickly hit Koryu with Vine Whip. He also seemed to be into this stalking thing.

They finally arrived at the port.
Koryu was stunned at the number of people there. There were many more than there were the last time he was here, at least twice as many. Koryu glanced at the new pokemon, analyzing details of all the new pokemon that had passed by. Koryu noticed his close proximity to the ocean and decided to let his Seel, Mercury, go for a swim. He threw the ball in the air and out came his playful new pokemon. He threw a berry to her.

He noticed that his pidgey was missing, again. But he soon forgot about it when he saw his old teammate with a ticket heading towards a boat. He walked over to him, "Hey Jon! Fancy meeting you here!" At this moment his Pidgey noticed him and flew down towards him at a speed that seemed to be increasing, until it finally hit Koryu, knocking him to the ground.
He lifted his head, "Again?"

The Fighting Fogeys

The crowd was cheering with every move. The Nidoking was taking hit after hit, only dealing back obviously playful peck's. The trainer behind it was a tall, dark haired, mid 20's looking man who's face was partially obscured by his shaggy hair and thick rimmed glasses. A large black pack sat next to his feet, contrasting his dark red pants and black shirt.

"Yep...that's him." Jon murmured to himself, his voice drowned out by the crowd.

The young trainer behind the opposing Kadabra smiled as he shouted his next command, almost sounding as if it was his killer move.

"Psybeam, Kadabra!"

The Kadabra's eyes started to glow red, though it was already too late.

"Megahorn!"

The crowd cheered as the Kadabra suddenly flew off it's feet, Nidoking hitting it square in the head with it's horn at full speed, leaving the Kadabra to hit the ground a few feet away. The Nidokings trainer quickly climbing onto its back to take in the applause.

"Thank you! Thank you!"

"Geeze, such a show off." Jon murmured, hiding his face in his hands.

"Hey Jon! Fancy meeting you here!" a familliar voice yelled out. It was Koryu who had seemed to follow Jon.

This and the soon to follow tackle of his pidgy attracted the attention of the trainer.

"Johnny?" he yelled out happily, "No way!" The Nidoking moved towards Jon and Koryu, the crowd forming behind him as he attempted to move away. The trainer leaped from his perch and grabbed Jon by the neck, rubbing his knuckled into Jon's scalp.

"Can't say hi to your own brother?"

Koryu looked up and saw another man talking to Jon. A large Nidoking was standing behind the man. The two seemed to attract attention, which was accumulating around Koryu, Jon and the other person. The man grabbed hold of Jons neck and rubbed his scalp with his knuckles, "Can't say hi to your own brother?"
It took every last ounce of self control for Koryu not to burst out in laughter. Unfortunately, Koryu was in his energetic mood and couldn't help but laugh. He wasn't sure why it was so funny, but to Koryu, it just was.

Kakyoku didn't seem phased at all, but more interested in the mighty Nidoking. Koryus pokemon began to crowd around it, staring at it in amazement.
Koryu was slightly worried that the Nidoking might get aggrivated, but he was sure that if a fight did break out, his pokemon would be able to handle it. 5 against 1 looked good for Koryus inexperienced pokemon.

But Koryu wasn't interested in battling at the moment. He looked toward Jon and his brother with an anticipation of a 6 year old.

Kuri watched as the fight unfolded, marvelling at how the Nidoking seemed to be playing with it's opponent before the megahorn attack finished the battle. The trainer must be really skilled to manage that and she fully expected the Nidoking to be a powerful pokémon as well. She smiled to herself as she prepared to turn away and head back to the boats, wondering how her brother would seem if she got to see him battle, after all he had apparently been doing well in his training but she knew all too well that he liked to exaggerate some things.

Just as she was going to turn away though, the trainer on his Nidoking moved over to a different part of the crowd. Curious as to what he could be moving there for Kuri had a quick look at the area he was heading for and was startled at the sight of the trainer grabbing an all too familiar face in a headlock and apparently playfully messing with his hair. Then she noticed another familiar face as well, another of the boys from the group she had parted with earlier in the day.

Curious as to why the trainer had taken an interest to them she started to work her way through the crowd to get around to them, though since most of the crowd seemed to be doing the same thing she took a while to get herself near to the centre of the attention. This was one of the few times she was thankful that she was a little smaller than most people her age, letting her weave through the crowd with a little more ease.

Just about managing to make it to the front of the crowd she could quickly make out that those were defiantly two of the people she had travelled with into the forest. She wondered how this other trainer knew Jon, having missed his first words during her fight through the crowd, so she listened intently from the front of the crowd, not wanting to impose herself into the conversation or worse yet the centre of the crowd's attention.

The Fighting Fogeys

Jon struggled for a bit before his brother let him go. The crowd had been watching for a while thought started to wane when Nidoking was called back.

"What are you doing here." Jon asked, a slight note of disgust in his voice, itching his head. Jon was never a "center-of-attention" type of person and preferred to stay out of the center of attention, this was everything he didn't want.

"I came here to meet a few friends, maybe check out the gym," Jon's brother chirped, "and why are you here?"

"Exploring." was all Jon could say.

The two brothers seemed to be the antithesis of each other. A playful brother who loved to be in the limelight and a somewhat introverted younger brother who wanted otherwise. It sometimes confused people into thinking they weren't brothers.

"So, Who is your friend there?"

"Koryu, he was traveling with me and a few other people in the forests...I wasn't expecting to see him here."

Jon's brother walking over to Koryu, a slight swagger in his step.

"Thanks for pointing him out, my name is Timothy Poole, you can call me Tim." He said as he placed his hand out to shake Koryu's.

------------------------

Else wear Jon looked around the crownd, as it started to dissolve he noticed something odd that didn't quite fit. Among the throngs of people was a small speck of silver hair.

"Is that...Couldn't be...well if Koryu is here maybe..."

Jon wandered towards the speck, cutting around the crowd to get towards it. Just as he thought he saw Kuri mixed into the crowd, he moved up beside her.

"Oh, Your here too?" Jon looked over toward Tim and Koryu, "Koryu is over there with my brother...he kinda pointed me out of the crowd... So your heading back to the mainland also?"

Koryu Watched as the older person seemed to act outgoing and slightly immature. Koryu started to dislike him, but had the strange urge to look up to him. Jon seemed aggrivated of his brothers presence, and Koryu could see why. He imagined what it would be like to live with someone so in need of attention.

Koryu had zoned out but snapped back into reality when the person told him his name. He held out his hand, "Thanks for pointing him out, my name is Timothy Poole, you can call me Tim." Koryu gave a smile and shook his hand. Koryu didn't enjoy being indecent, wether or not he was deciding wether to hate the person or not. He replied, "Nice to meet you Tim, I'm Koryu."

Koryu noticed Jon focusing on a figure in the crowd around them. It was at this moment that Koryu noticed he was a part of the center of attention. He blushed slightly, but then saw what he thought Jon had seen. Koryu realized who the person actually was when Jon went over to see her.
He was happy to see someone else familiar.
He wasn't sure what they were talking about, but he figured it had to do with a boat ride, seeing as how he was at a port and Jon had a ticket.
Koryu walked over and smiled toward the girl. "Hey Kuri! I see you stalked Jon too!"

Kuri had been too occupied with watching the exchange between the apparently confident trainer and the two she had met earlier. She wasn't sure but him and Jon looked quite, well similar. Either that was a coincidence or they might have been related. It wasn't long before she found out though as Jon approached her. Looking around quickly confirmed that most of the crowd had already dispersed so he was clearly approaching her, so much for staying out of the conversation but at least the crowd was gone.

"Yes, I was just over here look around really so since I'm done I was going to head back to try to meet up with my brother." She replies to Jon, having to take another look at the older trainer at his words. So they were brothers, that certainly explained the similarities.

"So your brother is a trainer as well?" She asks, though the answer is obvious already from the battle. The whole event was making her want to be with her own brother all the more but that was going to have to wait until she was able to get back to the mainland. She wasn't able to remain lost in thought for very long though before Koryu noticed her as well and came over.

"Stalked?" Kuri questioned, not sure if he was being serious or not. "I'm just looking for a boat back to the mainland."

"Yeah, He's done pretty good for himself. He has been traveling for almost seven years now." Responding to Kuri's question.

Koryu came running up to the two of them and started to talk. John placed his hand across his face as he heard Koryu blurt out that he was "stalking".

"Koryu, Master of words... Jon thought to himself, this is about the time that he realized he had used both his hands, no ticket was in either of them.

"Oh crap..." he murmured as he searched through his pack, leaving no pocket, nook, or cranny unturned, "where is it?"

"Whats wrong Johnny, No ticket?" Tim chirped, his normal mocking tone melded in with each word.

"Yeah...I guess so. Maybe I could get a new one before..."

"Doubt it. Look at the clock." Tim pointed to the clock. Only about nine minutes before the next boat and it would take at least five to even wait in line, "I got an idea...my friend happens to have a private boat, a pretty big one at that, I'm sure he will let you go back to the mainland with our group."

"Oh no, I couldn't." Jon responded, trying to hide how little he enjoyed the company of his brother.

"Nah, don't worry. Even your two friends here could come along." Tim almost sounded happy to have them along, even though it wasn't his boat.

"He isn't going to stop until we say yes..."

"I surrender." Jon almost sounded as if he was giving up a war.

"Oh good, and how about you two?"

Kuri seemed bewildered at Koryu's choice of words and answered with what seemed like a question. Jon began laughing and Koryu was wondering if he was laughing at him or just what he said was funny. He guessed that it was funny and forgot about it when Tim asked the group a question.

"I got an idea...my friend happens to have a private boat, a pretty big one at that, I'm sure he will let you go back to the mainland with our group." Koryu grinned and looked at Mercury. "This might be a good time to get to know her while she's able to be outside," he thought. He turned back as Jon was rejecting the offer. Tim spoke again, "Nah, don't worry. Even your two friends here could come along."

Koryu noticed Tim smile in what seemed to be a brotherly way. Koryu could only guess seeing as he did not have a sibling. Jon surrendered and allowed Tim to get the group a boat. Tim then asked Koryu and Kuri if they minded.

Suddenly Koryu's mood changed.
"Well of course! What else would we do?!" His Pidgey, Viera, came flying towards Koryu at what seemed to be 60 miles an hour and knocked Koryu down. Koryu got up and smiled, "I need more potions, I'll be back," and ran off humming.

He ran to the mart and returned in at least 2 minutes, thanks to the close proximety to the store.

"Seven years... that is a long time." kuri replied to Jon's comment before the boy realised he had lost his ticket. She had been about to offer to help look for it when Jon's brother came over, offering an alternative. It sounded really nice actually, having a private boat to go on as opposed to waiting for one of the larger ones. Though she was thinking on the subject she hadn't been prepared for the offer of going along as well.

"I..." She started, about to decline before she managed to think it through. If Jon didn't have time to get a ticket then she wouldn't either and as much as the idea of travelling with people she barely knew didn't instantly appeal to her, the idea of having to spend a night here wasn't any better.

"If it's not a problem for your friend... I'd like to come along." She finally replied, looking down a little. It felt awkward to ask someone when they weren't really in a position to invite others but she needed a way home. If nothing else she might feel a little better about wanting to see her own brother by being around Jon and his brother. The more quiet nature of a private boat should also let her get some training in with her pokémon.

"I'm already ready." She added in a quiet tone as Koryu moved off to get some more potions, just to pre-empt the possible question.

The Fighting Fogeys

Jon followed blankly as Tim ushered everyone to a small dock out of the way of the crowd, A small crew of men were removing the ropes from the docks.

A large yacht was anchored there. Roughly four levels high it looked almost as expensive as a cruise liner. A bright light could be seen glowing from the second to top floor though the glass windows. Another light could be seen below the main deck.

"Wait here a second." Tim pointed to the dock as he walked on board the ship via a large wooden gangplank. Seconds later he appeared and motioned for everyone to come on board.

"You three have the bottom deck to your selves. I will be up top with my friends." Tim then disappeared into a doorway, taking a stairway up top. Lights could be seen from the large deck above.

"Oh Jon," Tim's voice yelled down the corridor, "Feel free to let your Pokemon wander around down stairs."

"I assume we take this stairway." Jon motioned for Kuri and Koryu to follow.

Jon marched down the other stairway into a large open room. Three glass walls surrounded in overlooked the water which was only about eight or nine feet away, Close enough to see but far enough to prevent waves to crash over. The room had a large and soft blue carpet in the center that was surrounded by three plush dark sofas. A small TV hung on a break in the glass wall. Large curtains hung above the glass walls. What seemed to be areas designed for Pokemon sat in a small area in the back of the room near the stairs. Patches of dirt in small pits, what appeared to be a makeshift fountain surrounded by drains, bird perches, and even a large area of pillows.

"Wow...this ship is amazing."

Jon reached for his pokeballs and let all of his Pokemon out.

"Feel free to explore, we are going to be here for a while."

Natu instantly jumped onto a large bird perch in the corner, staring at everything. Croagunk sat down in it's place quietly as it let out a blubber. Turtwig and Nidoran started to run around in amazement, the two of them were similar in mind set when together.

"At least they're happy."

Koryu followed Jon on the boat. He was amazed at the size of it. He never imagined that it would be a private boat, more of a cruise ship. Koryu smiled and walked up the plank.

Tim turned toward them, "You three have the bottom deck to your selves. I will be up top with my friends." Koryu was enthralled. He hadn't ever been on a luxurious boat, and an entire floor to himself was exciting. Chiki ran up, and surprisingly, so did Kakyoku. He was even more surprised when Viera flew up, looking excited. He laughed, but then noticed Mercury, looking lonely down in the ocean alone.

Koryu walked inside the bottom cabin and gasped. He noticed the sandboxes and couch and the absolute luxuriousness of the cabin. Then he noticed the fountain. He smiled and ran outside, pokeball in hand. He withdrew the lonely seel and ran inside, releasing it in the fountain.

He walked over toward Jon, "Wow! I can't believe this!" He walked over to the fountain where his pokemon accumulated and just watched, happy to see his pokemon so excited.

Kuri followed along in her normal quiet manner. It was not long though after boarding the boat, which seemed less like a private yacht and more like a small cruise liner, though that even she could suppress her amazement at their accommodations. They were getting a whole deck to themselves and their pokémon? She couldn't begin to imagine how much that would cost them on an actual ship but she'd have to make sure to thank Jon's brother and his friend when she got the chance.

"This place really is fancy. I can't imagine owning a boat like this is cheap." She agreed with Jon before reaching for her own pokéballs on her belt. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should let her Mawile out as well given it's earlier reaction to her and Luka. In the end though she'd need to spend time with her new pokémon to try to improve it's attitude to her. If things got out of hand she could always recall it to it's pokéball.

With a little nod to herself she released her pokémon one by one.

Luka rather predictably moved to Kuri's side when he was released, eyeing over all of the new pokémon a little suspiciously before brushing himself over his trainers shins, his normal method of asking to be picked up.

Vale was quite happy to explore the new surroundings, the little Torchic making a beeline for the area covered in pillows and quite happily diving into it.

Her unnamed Mawile on the other hand was a little slower to start off, taking it's time to look around before moving into one of the dirt filled pits. It started to pile up some dirt, apparently trying to build something out of the loose dirt, though the dirt was a little too loose to hold together it seemed. Once again it went out of it's way to not pay any interest in it's trainer.

The Fighting Fogeys

Jon sat himself down on one of the large couches, Croagunk followed him and sat down next to him, staring off into nothingness. Placing his pack next to the couch.

"I have to say, for as annoying and pushy as he can be Tim really comes in handy...." Jon looked around at all the pokemon, "I wonder...how do you think they feel being with us?"

Looking down at Croagunk who turned to look back.

"I mean...Croagunk here has been with me since he hatched, but what about the ones we catch...what if they had a family or something of the sort."

Jon realized he was thinking out loud and promptly stopped. The way Pokemon acted and lived was what really interested Jon. He wanted to see many rare Pokemon in their natural habitat. Battling Pokemon just came second hand as it was always Jon's idea that if you have stronger Pokemon you could find stronger Pokemon.

"You know...we have been together for almost three days but have barely talked to each other...I mean the most I know about you two is your names and you two now know about my family...since I have the feeling we are going to have a long trip home we might as well get to know each other."

Jon coughed into his hand.

"My name is Jon Poole, you can simply call me Jon. I come from a family of five children from Pastoria City in Sinnoh and I am sixteen years old. My first pokemon was my Croagunk," Croagunk let out a small blubbering cry, "and I have been to Hoenn and Kanto on my travels."

Dream Party

Koryu smiled and laughed a little as Kuri's new Mawhile was trying to build something in the sand. It seemed upset and Koryu didn't want to laugh at it, but he was in a good mood.

Chiki again climbed on Mercury's back as she took her for another ride. And it seemed that Kyo and Viera realized the two were partners and seemed to hev no idea who the other was. Koryu sighed and watched as the two analyzed each other. Then Viera pecked Kakyoku in curiousity, and being the competative pokemon he was, attacked Viera back. Koryu went and picked them up, flicking both of them to snap them back into their senses and make them realize where they were. They had to act properly, unlike Koryu's other two pokemon who seemed to take joy in playing games and being loud.

Jon got up and seemed curious as to the backround information on his other two partners. He Gave some information about himself and Koryu replied, "Wow, 5? That's quite a lot..." Then he metioned about being in Kanto once and that excited Koryu, hearing about his old "Home-land".
Koryu stood, "My name is Koryu Hiroki. I was actually born in Kanto, Pallet Town specifically. I lived with my grandparents for 10 years while my parents were in Goldenrod running the two companies they own. I got Kakyoku and Chiki here from my granparents before i left Pallet Town. I traveled through the Kanto and Johto regions to live with my parents and i found my pidgey Viera."
Koryu smiled. He enjoyed actually having someone to share personal experiences with.

He might have told them more special details, but wasn't comfortable sharing that with everyone yet.

Favourites

Kuri bent down to pick up Luka, knowing all too well that the little electric cub wouldn't leave her be until he received the attention he wanted. She probably did spoil him a little but since he had been her only pokémon for a long time it wasn't a habit she'd be about to change soon. With him safely bundled in her arms she moved over to sit down on another one of the sofa's, keeping Luka on her lap since she didn't want him covering the sofa in fur.

"I'm from Hoenn actually, Lillycove City. I've only just started training even though I'm already nineteen." She paused for a little after this, not entirely sure how much she wanted to tell them. Given how they were probably going to be parting ways after this trip though she decided there wouldn't be any harm in at least talking to them. They seemed nice enough after all.

"I'm not very strong... physically you see so I wasn't able to go outside much when I was younger. I've had Luka for a while but he was more of a pet to start with. My brother has been training for a couple tears now and I should be meeting up with him soon. My brother actually gave me VAle as a present when he heard my parents agreed to let me travel." She looks over at the Torchic before smiling slightly as she watches him dig his way under the pillows intently.

"I don't really know what else you might want to know... I've never had people around to talk to." She admitted, dropping her eyes to focus on scratching behind Luka's ears. In fact the past few days had been the only time she had been around anyone near her own age in a long time.

Her train of thought was broken though as she felt something tugging at one of her stockings followed by a very demanding, "MAW!" Kuri's Mawiile had decided to that it's building wasn't going well because the dirt was useless so she was going to rectify that problem, unfortunately for the unhappy little pokémon it needed someone larger to help it.

The Fighting Fogeys

Jon listened to the others stories.

Hmmm...Pallet town and Lilycove, both cities I would like to see some day." Jon continued to listen though cringed a bit when he heard Kuri mention she was 19, "Heh, I thought she was only 13."

Jon's thoughts were stopped by a spark of static over a small intercom.

"We will be departing in four minutes, it is currently five thirty-three PM, by the time we make it out to open sea's it will be six. We suggest you be careful if you are out on the deck, the sea can get choppy."

The voice wasn't familiar but it was safe to assume that it was the captain. The disturbance seemed to halt Jon's pokemon in their tracks, though soon enough they continued their horseplay, Croagunk had made it's way over to the small area of pillows and sat down, not realizing that Kuri's Torchic was hidden away inside of it.

Turtwig had run towards the small dirt pit and started to roll around in it, the shell on it's back seeming to attract high quality dirt giving it an odd appearance that was somewhere between dried mud and a shiny plate of steel. Nidoran had broken away, the large amount's of people and P:okemon scaring it enough to have it run back to Jon, letting out a small "Nya" as it buried itself in Jon's coat, the poison barbs poking though not breaking the skin.

"Calm down buddy, they are our friends remember?" Jon wispered as he picked the little pink Pokemon up and rubbing the back of its head. Chuckling a bit as he watched Croagunk sit silently at it's ignorance to the Torchic next to it.

Dream Party

Koryu listened to Kuri, shocked that she was four years older than he. And he also liked hearing that he met people from two different regions. He felt good about being someone to talk to with Kuri, who apparently had nobody else to talk to either. It made him feel like part of the group.

~~~~
Koryu listened as the PA system rang, "We will be departing in four minutes, it is currently five thirty-three PM, by the time we make it out to open sea's it will be six. We suggest you be careful if you are out on the deck, the sea can get choppy."
Chiki and Mercury looked up excited and spoke to each other in the pokemon language. Kyo and Viera went over to the large pile of pillows and fell asleep. Koryu went and sat down in the pillow pile and dug through them. He always thought that digging through pillows or clothes was what it was like to be a ground pokemon and he personally enjoyed it. Koryu began to get more excited and snuck up on his sleeping pokemon and grabbed them suddenly, pulling them into the pile of pillows. Immature, yes, but fun.
Kyo, of course, didn't enjoy this as much and attacked Koryu, causing him to calm down and rise out of the pillows. Koryu laughed when he realized he did in fact make himself look like and idiot, but he didn't think twice about it, seeing as how he felt closer to them and they might understand his "tri-polar" attitude more than others.
