Pokémon: Latias Gender: female, of course! Specifics: Short hair? If it ends up not looking good/hard to do, then don't worry about it. Design is totally up to you! Thanks ♥ Finished~ I am quite pleased with the colors, mostly the cherry red parts. Red is a bitch to shade, most of the time, but this came really naturally. The pose is unusual, BUT WHO CARES LOOK PRETTY COLORS. Latias (click to show ) Also, I'm going to pretend you guys didn't just give away that Ren815 broke the rules, since I am in a very good mood today, in spite of general stress :> Edit: Fixed her hair, I forgot to paint he head marking for. Some reason. SOOOOO adorable! And I think the pose only adds extra cuteness points -------------------- ~om nom nom~ |

Awwwwwwwwwww so cute! Sorry shiro, i have a huge temper and i was already ticked off a bit and i just misunderstood so i was in a flaming rage of sorrow. I even wrote 3 haikus, and i dont write haikus much.
Something sad happened. My dreams were suddenly smashed. A mournful wolf prowls. He searches for light. Alas, he cannot find it. The wolf sobs by himself. There he lies crying. In a dark cave of despair. This is true sorrow. Again, sorry. At least you saw the best of it. Out of rage, i literally ate something FLAMING hot . My mouth still throbs. Again, Soooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry. -------------------- I throw my sandwich in the air sometimes Sayin' "Hey yo. I ordered mayo." Poke my eggs? (click to show ) Other stuff. Please click. @Runi I know right? THREE! At least they were poetic right?
@Rowan I was NOT trying to make her feel guilty. 1. I was trying to get her to understand that i get sensitive. 2. Also, i was trying to get myself out of the " OMG I'm so guilty im gonna just die" zone. My mouth STILL hurts! A LOT! -------------------- I throw my sandwich in the air sometimes Sayin' "Hey yo. You found out that you would have a slim chance of receiving a drawing and while most people would just politely post their disappointment and be done with it you nagged on for post after post about how upset you were and kept going on about how you suffered all sorts of negative consequences. Other Users even kindly tried to warn you so you wouldn't get a strike. You are clearly tring to guilt trip people here. In all honesty you should really change how you act in the future as most people would find your whining offensive and demanding. No one wants to feel forced to draw for anyone especially when they have a very busy life offline. -------------------- ~om nom nom~ |

Still, amazing art as always. I can't really say much more than I have in the past XD It's just epic Is it at all possible to get some critque from you? I drew this picture of a Gardevoir earlier today. The only people I've shown it to are close to me, so of course they'd say it was good. XD I'd just like to know if it really is :/ I do realize my Japanese lettering is... in sore need of inprovement. -------------------- |

(Sorry guys, I have no sketches today - life took over. I'm not sure I'll manage any tomorrow as I'll have a busy day, but THURSDAY!!)
... O____e Shirogane, I give you cookies. And hot choccy. Still, amazing art as always. I can't really say much more than I have in the past XD It's just epic :3 Is it at all possible to get some critque from you? I drew this picture of a Gardevoir earlier today. The only people I've shown it to are close to me, so of course they'd say it was good. XD I'd just like to know if it really is :/ I do realize my Japanese lettering is... in sore need of inprovement. Okay, firstly, the lettering in red (which is katakana, actually - kanji is the more 'complicated' alphabet) is sliiightly off, mostly because of how romanization works. A more accurate way of writing it would be レディ エンテイ, paying mind to the small ィ in the first word and the bigger イ in the second. Since I don't know what medium you used (mouse or tablet, paint or photoshop, etc), I'll try to keep critique to strictly anatomy and colors. Anatomy is, mostly, accurate. It feels like Gardevoir's mouth should be a little further (to our) right. The center of the mouth (with or without perspective) generally matches the chin (and nose, but... Gardevoir has no nose). Otherwise, anatomy is fairly accurate. Shading should pay closer mind to light sourcing, I think. The general feel from the image is that light's coming from the upper right corner (between the big light spot on its head, and the shadow cast by the "hair" and under the jaw). However, the big light line on the left of its head implies light is either coming from there, or from behind, which contradicts the rest of the colors. When coloring, you should always keep in mind where the light source(s) is(are). It dictates shadow placement entirely. Colors are lighter closer to the source, darker far away from it, and objects cast shadows on other objects in the opposite direction the light's coming from. BORING LIGHT SOURCING LESSON OVER. My last advice is to, regardless of the medium you're using, work on steadier lines. Some types of programs (paint, places like Tegaki-E) don't allow for non-jaggy lines, but you can at least make them thin out in some parts, if you're going to make them thick, to hide the fact the brush is actually round. You can achieve sharper edges without a tablet/proper tools by painting a thick line, then carefully erasing or painting over parts of the thick line so as to make the edges pointy. Kind of like how if you have a round piece of paper, if you cut bits and pieces off you can make it into pretty much any shape. And to wrap it up, if you're serious about drawing, practice makes perfect. Everyone starts out rough and picks up smoothness and flow over time. It's the only way to go about it. o/ Also, people, please play nice. |( If this thread gets locked for drama, I'll just have to relocate all the sooner. And that's not good for anyone. -------------------- |
