Me and my two brothers were recently having a "discussion" (lots of yelling over music lol) on which move was best used on Linoone to take items. The choice I put up was Covet, because Linoone had higher Attack when compared to Special Attack. They chose Thief, and their excuse for it was it could hit a Ghost pokemon. I would've teached it Shadow Ball, but hey. I feel this is correct but I'd want to hear what other people have to say about it too.

Covet for STAB.
Thief for Mt. Pyre, but you won't be in there for long. |

Teach it either Surf or Strength. Mine's always been killer with that. ^^
