What is "Critical Mass"? |

I've seen the term plenty of times, but I'm still not sure what it is, other than that it happens when the mystery counter reaches a certain point. And how long does it last?

When the counter reaches "Critical Mass" then after reset the site has a "Critical Mass" day. It lasts from that reset until the next reset (so one day). The amount that is needed to reach Critical Mass changes depending on how long it has been since the last "Critical Mass".

When the counter hits critical mass, after the next reset interaction, point and maturity gains are multiplied by 1.5, you're granted more shelter grabs (like if you can normally only get 6 Pokemon you'd be able to get 9 on a Critmass day), everything in the shop is discounted, and the Back Room is closed.
