Diamond:
Gastly: I had been playing pt for ages and hadn't turned on diamond for ages. I turned it on to try and find a golbat for my pokemon ranch. 5 min in, WHAM I'm shown a shiny gastly. Platinum: Without GTS: Graveler: before the elite four beaten, was training up my pokes. With GTS: Not much, only 2 shaymin with one that can change form, carnivine, froslass and porygon-z. How I did it? Well, cloning rayquazas on emerald holding nuggets can do wonders. All you need to do is ask for any pokemon, even lv100 (maybe except arceus...), and check a day or two later. BUT: It takes longer to get a 70 and up milotic than a lv100 event regigigas for the 3 regis. -------------------- Drydee stuff wanted!   Drydee: Mario/Pokemon chaotic crossover! I have a shiny Nidoking, found in my Firered, and a Tentacool, found in Ruby version. I can still remember what I was doing when I found them.

I've gotten a lot of shinies through trade but my favorite is my wooper that I caught on my pearl.
Shiny pokemon in the great marsh... gave me a heart attack thinking it was gonna run from me. |

Pink Crobat that I got as a Green Zubat from a friend. Shiny Leafeon I got in a trade, think I traded it. Two or three Shiny Noctowl, all of them hacked I think. =/ Shiny Charmeleon, possibly hacked. Shiny Weepinbel that I traded for one of the Hacked Noctowl. And that's it I think. To lazy to SR and my luck ain't good. EDIT: Wait, I've got my Brother's LF shinies. Nidoran F and Piloswine. On G/S I had a shiny Feraligatr, Scizor, Lugia, Raichu, Tyranitar and Gyarados (Not like that Gyarados was unique though).
Note: -Had-. Battery went ded :C Nowadays, I only have a shiny Phanpy. I got the chance to catch a shiny Mewtwo on Fire Red though. But really.. A green Mewtwo? Ew. I K.O'd it

My first ever legit shiny was on Platinum and it was a female Azumarill. I was in Victory Road with Marly and we were just walking around and I just wanted to get through that thing as fast as possible. We get into a wild battle and there it was, two Azumarill, one yellow and one blue. I crapped myself, killed her Arcanine, killed the blue one, then pelted it with ulta balls until I caught it.
 I was so happy to have finally caught my first shiny.

I NEVER HAVE OR EVER WILL USE CHEATS ON MY GAMES!
With that said, I was lucky enough to find a shiny Zubat on my Emerald. On my Pearl and Platinum, I have started that chaining method for finding shinies with the Pokeradar. It works pretty well. On my Pearl, I have found a shiny Pachirisu and a shiny Smoochum this way. On Platinum I have a shiny Farfetch'd, Zangoose, Tauros, Wigglytuff, Starly, Chatot, and Larvitar. I had a shiny Ralts, but traded it for a shiny Carvanha
